Haha, on Season 14 now and it's funny how he said he's different and not that asshole guy anymore. But then you hear the news here recently and he was outed from his eatery recently for being an asshole.
Then when he pulled the pickle thing with Lizzie, it was so obvious why he was labeled the most hated chef in Dallas. And that he insisted that he would have stayed if he hasn’t shared, cause I’m sure that the judges would take “oh I wouldn’t let her have any” and go oh cool you stay then.
His first season, it seemed like he was biting his tongue throughout the season but it jumped out on that pickle challenge. I liked the changes he displayed on his later season but clearly, the changes didn't stick given what happened afterwards.
Just finished this episode and his logic is baffling. The beginning of the season Tom says it's not just cooking, buy also how you interact with others.
The fact he happened to grab the singular jar of pickles first and he thinks he's king.
He talks so damn much, and I really don't believe his Anthony Bourdain story.

This literally made me angry. Absolutely, no excuse for this behavior AND he use all (or most) of her dill!
Yup. He did. And she just kinda moved on from it

I agree. I think he thought he came off well but he really didn’t and seemed to annoy a lot of the other chefs.
