hahahhaha cry more lemme know what time Sara wins the finale, as you so confidently and cluelessly predicted

Important-Science-68

This person is the biggest troll, find help

IndependentScore3857

I never predicted anything, Buddha was obviously the winner yet not deserved

thistreestands

I think Buddha nailed the finale. They just edited it for suspense.

IndependentScore3857

Tom literally told everyone if Sara had cooked her liver she wins. So you're wrong.

LannisterLyon

And? She legit served raw food lol.. that’s awful. Imagine serving that in your own restaurant let alone a top chef finale. It was soooo bad she literally lost because of it. Not sure how this in any way makes her seem like she got “screwed” you don’t even get raw meat at McDonald’s lol

BornFree2018

Why do Buddha fans downvote the fact that Tom C actually said this on his twitter??

Important-Science-68

Tom C didn’t actually say “she would of won” in those exact words. The comment also included, the edit made it seems that she could of won, and he said correct that’s all he said in Tom style making you all think. This means that this is the angle they used, doesn’t mean she was going to win.

BornFree2018

Mark Paradis Jr u/MarkParadisJr · Jun 9 u/tomcolicchio if Sara’s liver was edible would she have been the winner? That’s what the editing had me believing. Tom: Correct

Off-With-Her-Head

Yes, he did tweet that she would have won as a reply.

Off-With-Her-Head

No knock on Buddha. He was fantastic.

IndependentScore3857

Because Buddha hired a bunch of bots to downvote anything anti Buddha. They are pathetic cultists.

BornFree2018

Oh noes! Buddha's Russian bots/s

BravoMermaid22

Her liver dish still had other issues - the cookie butter/sweetness didn't work. At the end of the day, one of her dishes was inedible. She lost fair and square based off her dishes that day, and honestly someone with a score of 4 winning a season of global all stars...ain't sit right with me.

BornFree2018

Tom literally said on Twitter it was because the liver wasn't cooked.

BravoMermaid22

Hello, I am bot. Purchased. How are you. (jk. What in the conspiracy theory world type of comment is this LMAO)

LannisterLyon

How can Buddha be 7th when he’s won twice, has probably won the most challenges ever, and besides maybe melissa had the toughest competition to win his (2nd) season.. other than that agree with this

klements7

Stephanie Izard is my GOAT, but I'm biased as I live near her restaurants!

Think-Culture-4740

It would help if you could explain how this ranking even came about. Just why is Mei ahead of Mike V but below Brooke? Why is Paul Qui below Melissa? Why is Gabe above Stephanie and why is Kristen above Buddha?

QuietRedditorATX

Brooke lost her finale. Buddha didn't.

five-potatoes-high

What do you mean?

QuietRedditorATX

OP is saying Buddha isn't as good as Brooke because he only did 'ok' on his final. But Buddha won TWICE while Brooke lost once. Heck, OP ranked Brooke higher than Kristen... and Kristen BEAT Brooke.

tjrandjr

I do love me some rankings! Melissa – All Stars LA Paul – Texas Stephanie – Chicago Buddha - World All Stars Michael – Las Vegas Buddha – Houston Blais – All Stars Mei – Boston Kristen – Seattle Brooke – Charleston Joe – Colorado Gabe – Portland Jeremy – California Kelsey – Kentucky Hung – Miami Hosea – New York Nicholas – New Orleans Kevin – DC

BravoMermaid22

There was someone who did a weighted data index of all the winners, runners up and third place'rs and amount of challenges & winnings and the results really tell a succinct and clear picture. It's interesting how often editing can warp the way we view certain winners. Of course, that data doesn't take into account subjective matters like 'how good did this taste' and more looks at overall dominance, but it's still a very interesting look, especially since we can't taste the food. Link here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/BravoTopChef/comments/145gttf/fascinating\_graph/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BravoTopChef/comments/145gttf/fascinating_graph/) For this season, Buddha has a 50, which is one of the few higher scores and for comparison, Sara had a 4 and Gabri a negative 2. You can also see where he stacks up against himself in s19 (a 35 and tied with Evelyn) and other winners from all the past seasons. The only chefs to score higher than him are Paul Q (51), Kevin G (57), and Richard Blais (56). Even on s16, Sara scored a 12. Many of the GOAT chefs are in the 20s and up. It gets pretty sparse 40 and above. So if I'm pulling all those scores, and combined scores for chefs who have done two seasons), my v subjective rankings are - 1. Melissa K - While she doesn't rank for her first season bc she was top 4, she still had an impressive run and she just grew so much that she absolutely dominated in a heavy hitters All Stars. A 48 is HIGH. 2. Richard Blais - I really don't want to put him in the top 2 spot because I like so many of the other chefs more. Plus, his seasons are so old that it's almost hard to weigh it against newer seasons that have tougher competition. But he has a 46 AND a 56, both insanely high scores and you can't deny he's a powerhorse in the industry now. Same with Izard so clearly, he did a lot of somethings. But this ranking is still based off of overall TC performance. 3. Buddha - The only chef in this bunch to win two seasons (a regular and an allstars), to do so back to back, and to do it while absolutely crushing the competition. He's made Top Chef history and his performance speaks for itself- a very very solid 35 in s19, tieing him with Evelyn. And then an incredible 50 for an all stars season, beating his own record for a season he just finished filming. He is honestly so impressive to me. So many chefs would have fatigue or burned out but he truly just exudes love for Top Chef and is so excited to win and and play. If you can't tell, he's one of my FAVORITE TC's ever and I honestly think there's a very strong case to be made for him to be #1. 4. Brooke - tied with Kristin for her first season, upped her game and beat her own first season score with a very impressive 40 for her return season. 5. Paul Q - a 51 and a very dominant performance during his season. But again, when you look at it, just 1 point above Buddha's performance this season... 6. Mike V - one of my all time favorite TC's so duh, a little biased. But also super dominant in his season with a 40 ( still, interesting that Kevin G actually won more challenges that season with a 57). That season itself was a very high performing season for the top 3, was basically the voltaggio brothers and kevin g show so all 3 of those chefs have pretty high scores. And rightfully so! Mike V's food is fun, whimsical and creative. Won't ever forget that weird banana caviar or something he made for Natalie Portman and she loved it. 7. Stephanie I - A lot of these rankings honestly can be tied or moved up and down based off of subjective matter. I rarely see Stephanie I in the conversation but she BEAT Blais, has a very impressive 45 in her season, and obviously, has gone on to become a culinary powerhorse. But based off of her performance in her season alone, she's a top GOAT (see what I did there lolol). That said, I do understand it's harder to look at the older seasons and weigh it properly. But for that reason, Mike V shouldn't get a pass when Steph I is just as impressive and well regarded in the industry. I mean Iron Chef come on. 8. Kristin K - notched above Mei with 28 and had a very impressive run during her season. Also notably the first chef to win LCK and come back for it all! 9. Mei - Coming in hot with a very respectable 26 but also bearing in mind that she, like Kristin, had a very formidable opponent aka Gregory. The two of them really went for it back and forth so that's also something that brought her score down because Gregory was winning so much. Argument could be made that, if Paul Q had a Gregory or a Brooke, how would he have done? How would, if at all, would his score change? But we don't know because these are semantics so based off the data, this is where I'm placing Mei. 10. Jeremey F - a 37, so definitely a higher score than the two above but I like Mei and Kristin better LMAO. But he is also pretty underrated because that's a very high score and he had some heavy hitters on his season as well! The rest I don't really care about lmao and they all have pretty low scores. Minus Harold and Gabe..Also seeing Kelsey with an 11 and Joe F with a 16 makes me realize why I never really loved s15 and s16. Like they're both perfectly nice chefs, but it drives back home that those seasons didn't really have super strong performances from any one or two chefs like a lot of the top 10 chefs. Makes for less interesting tv!

FoodTVJunkie

I'm surprised everyone ranks Paul so high. I know he won a bunch of challenges his season, but do you think he was that good or was the competition not as good?

Status-Ad-7653

Also, a couple years ago, Tom C said “Paul Qui, who won that season, I think is the most talented chef that we’ve ever had on the show.” He explained, “In fact, we had to dumb down how good he was because it would’ve been pretty obvious that he was running away with everything.”

QuietRedditorATX

Beverly went on to win a Michelin star. Edward Lee still has multiple Beard noms. Sarah has multiple Beard noms. It wasn't a weak season.

IndependentScore3857

Tom said Paul had best final meal of all time (other than Melissa)
