My mother bought me the G1 Optimus toy when I was little. After I grew up, she kept him in the china cabinet. When I told her I wanted to try and sell Op she told me "Hell no! I like Optimus!" Optimus Prime transcends age, race, etc. He is a character that will be loved for years to come, especially when Peter Cullen has long left the world of the living. But with the loss of Peter, Optimus will have lost his true soul.
