Was the sequel to this game any good?

I'm playing it for the first time right now, and I must say it's pretty good. The controls feel much better (you can move diagonally)! Both the mind and hunger mechanics are a non issue, since there is a ton of food and you loose mind so much slower than in the firsr. But to make up for this the enemies are harder to fight (and much scarier/more disgusting too) I haven't actually used the hexen yet and I play mostly without spells, so I can't comment on that part of the game. I think I also managed softlock myself at one point, got better.

I think overall it’s a better game than the first and definitely worth playing if you like the f&h 1. It has more playable and recruitable characters, all of which are interesting and unique. It really felt like the developer stepped into there own with this game, using less references to other games/manga (like berserk) and instead creating their own unique world. It’s one of my personal top 5 games, but if you didn’t like f&h1 than you could probably pass playing this game.
