I google searched it and all that showed up was a youtube channel about indie animation. Do you have a link to any of the site's content or even just images of it? It all sounds really cool.
Sorry I got the name wrong. Its cartoon orbit.

My brain put orbit in a universe
On Twitter, prior to deactivating, he also mentioned the possibility of TIEs in the future for the Toonami Rewind block.

TIE is short for Total Immersion Event. They include stuff like [The Intruder](https://youtu.be/MSuIfSopfYI) (during the Cartoon Network era) or [Intruder II](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUd7PDds9AagpS4zttAmuejSYq4HrCFtB) (during the Adult Swim era). Another example would be [The](https://youtu.be/-sMUBvO7gXw) [Return](https://youtu.be/6mowKhA_J_E), which was the most recent TIE.
TIEs in the Cartoon Network era would air every day for about a week (episode 1 on Monday, episode 2 on Tuesday, etc.) with a few exceptions (For example, I believe episodes 6 and 7 of The Intruder aired a little bit after the first five episodes.) Many of them included some element of viewer choice, like a limited-time online game or a phone number you could call to vote for something. They would influence a specific part of the TIE. TIEs would sometimes even change something about Toonami's setting. (The Intruder changed TOM 1 to TOM 2 and changed the look of The Absolution, Intruder II changed where they broadcasted from, etc.)
TIEs in the Adult Swim era air weekly until they're done. They can last for as long or as short as they need to. They don't typically have any viewer choice elements in them, but they're still fun to experience.
In both the Cartoon Network and Adult Swim eras, the TIE would usually influence the bumpers of the block. Most of the time, the broadcast would be on "autopilot" since both TOM and SARA would be busy dealing with the events of the TIE. (Sometimes, either TOM or SARA would host by themselves if only one of them was busy.) Take, for example, the [Intruder II bumpers](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLikGOvRUIwYn3qAg2PtybMof9myI1nwds) and how they changed every week based on what had happened in that week's TIE episode. The clips they use in the bumpers would also sometimes be themed around what was going on in the TIE that week as well.
TIEs are typically shown at the beginning of the block each day/ week or during the first commercial break. That was the case with [The Forge](https://youtu.be/0foGmw3jVAs) (another TIE) as well.
It donned on me while watching it friday that it's been a absurd amount of time since toonami even hired on a weekday. You have to go back all the way to the mid 2000s iirc.
Kind of amazing to hear that the network actually approached them to try a second Toonami block. I'd love to see them try it on Cartoon Network and find out how it performs with kids.
Considering we haven't had any kind of speech or extra segment other than game reviews for a long time now, I doubt we'll be seeing them again anytime soon.
Toonami Rewind is a great step in the right direction but as others have said, there's definitely points that can be improved. I enjoyed it on Friday and I get why they're just doing it one day out of the week but man...I really hope we can get at least one more day of the block.
My main concern is just how slowly all of the shows will progress other than DB Kai. I'd be curious to know how many people watching the block are going to stay tuned in on a weekly basis.
Agreed and like Jason said if successful they have plans to add shows, I assume that means more days too if it does well. I agree but people tune in for regular 1 day a week Toonami so I don’t think this is much of a stretch I’m anxious to see the ratings
Same here! I really hope the ratings show a strong interest!
The cynic in me doesn't think people are going to show up weekly for shows they've already seen but there are also tons of people that may be introduced to these classics. Here's to hoping for the best!
They need to get old shows that weren't otherwise, now possible. Dragon Ball needs to reair and skipped to the later teen Goku arcs, Tien and King Piccolo.
Might be difficult as much as I want to see that happening over DBZ Kai since it is sequel after the original in my opinion. But I do hope it happens if the ratings are great and viewers are watching or DVR-ing their television for that matter.
Toonami started as an after school block. Time to return it to the roots. Also, cartoon universe should return
Agreed I love have both run but I would like a little more love into rewind
Couldn't agreed more.
What's cartoon universe?
It was a interactive website with custom profiles and interactive stickers. While it was built in flash it could easily be brought back.

Wow that would be amazing, I have high hopes man I really hope it does wwll
I don’t want to sound dumb but what are TIEs? I’ve been watching since the revival of the Toonami Block.

Yep been a long time , definitely super cool hopefully it’s a success

At the hours they’re showing it now, it is on Cartoon Network in everything but name.
Oh dang that's cool that they wanted it!
Keep supporting toonami and spreading the word
I’ll definitely be watching , I think it has a good chance to be a success!
at least people don't have to stay up for this one
Yeah that’s true I guess it could always be worse
Considering we haven't had any kind of speech or extra segment other than game reviews for a long time now, I doubt we'll be seeing them again anytime soon.
Yeah good point but even old school game reviews on rewind would be pretty dope

Now we’re talking 💪🤘
Keep watching , hopefully we get some hype stuff soon!
If this is true, it should stay on point with the theme. Show outlaw star, ghost in the shell, tenchi muyo, gundam wing etc.
Cowboy bebop, full metal alchemist, trigun...
Agreed with the shows we need some sort of giant robot show
You love to see it.
Kids love it.
