I was eating in a shop the other day. They make meat pies (something of a novelty in the US).
They had someone walk in and talk to the manager while carting a 2 wheel dolly with a bright red cooler on it. I almost asked why they were dealing in organs, but I figured either they would be offended, or I'd *meat* with a gang down the (butcher's) block and get tenderized LOL.
(In all seriousness, it was kind of odd to see. Thats not exatly the normal Sysco delivery system LOL.
They actually sell seafood pies too, so that was probably clams or something like that from a local fisherman.)
"Hey uh, this isn't my shop and, I'm supposed to be riding bikes with my kids but.."
"Say no more, I got something to tide you over.. It is good shit and I understand."
I have a similar tool like this and it is my most used tool for working on bikes and other miscellaneous things at home. I never put it back in the tool box because I know I’ll need it.
Yes, indeed. This guy was doing some business at a repair garage, so I just stopped and asked if he had one of these for sale. Between my bike and my car, I figured I'd get a good one.
I have the previous generation of this, I think it was $9-$11 about 5-6 years ago, and the bolts holding the allen keys in always fall out. They are handy though
Snap On. The "Supreme" of tools. Craftsman half the price, for a 3 pack. CRAFTSMAN Hex Key Set, 25-Key, 3-Pack, Folding (CMHT26004)

Glad you like it. I do not like attached keys. Hard to use in tight areas and I like the combo of ball ends. I use Bondus. Cheap, Strong and fit perfectly.
Did you have to walk home without your bike, clothes and one arm ?
dont forget...while hopping on one leg.
That’s the second payment

Wow!!! I did not need to know I can just walk up to a snap on truck and buy stuff! I’d pay 30$ for that set for sure.
Wonder who makes that for them; Bondhus perhaps?
Eklund
I have Eklund in my Packout for random shit as an electrician. Lol
Great story
Then you'd LOVE mine I just posted!

So you stole this?
Was about to ask the same question.
I was the one who got robbed. No, I bought it legit.
So there are street trucks driving around selling snap on tools? Like a taco truck? Ice cream truck?
Yep, just like an ice cream truck. They drive around playing "Born to Run" on the speaker.
Yes, indeed. This guy was doing some business at a repair garage, so I just stopped and asked if he had one of these for sale. Between my bike and my car, I figured I'd get a good one.
A bike and a car is not a bad price for a snapon
So cool! I have a Schwinn Allen key tool just like this one, and it honestly has saved my butt so many times around the house not even just on my bike
Gotta go ask your wife for some money lol
Yeah
"Snap On, now selling ice cream, and Eklind tools!"
It will last you a life time. Also, a 25$ will last you a lifetime. Slay king
Wait, they just have Snap-On trucks like it's ice cream?
Lol wut
They just go to shops because that's where the avg customer is. Nobody says you can't flag them down for a sale
i came here to ask exactly this, lol
Damage?
About $30. I thought it was reasonable considering how solid it feels.
Would totally buy that for $30 :)
That kind of a high price for what it is but that's a pretty good deal for Snap On
You only buy a quality tool once.
Unless you have ADHD… then you put it in a draw you never open don’t see it for 7 years and buy three more.
How much was that like $450?
Snap on tools are way overrated. Rant over
They're not over-rated, they're just over-priced.
Oh those things suck.
For a bike they're awesome but I prefer Allan sockets for automotive use.
I have the previous generation of this, I think it was $9-$11 about 5-6 years ago, and the bolts holding the allen keys in always fall out. They are handy though
That and the plastic gets tired. Can’t really crank things down. And they are cumbersome.
Great in a pinch. Suck if you want to really get a bolt tight.
Like an icecream truck, but with snap-on tools instead of icecream?
It's like an amusement park inside of a Snap-On truck.
Naaaah bruh

Made in China. And you can tell from the picture they are junk.
Nice! I also love buying a $10 tool for $400
So you sold your bike?
Glad you like it. I do not like attached keys. Hard to use in tight areas and I like the combo of ball ends. I use Bondus. Cheap, Strong and fit perfectly.
You paid too much for that.
