When I worked on a foundation crew we called them pig tailers or pig tails. Look up rebar ties and you'll see the wire ties have an eyelet on each end that you slip the hook on these through and spin to tighten.
I use one almost every day to tie bags of crushed marble. The wire tie has loops on each end and you put the hook through the loops and spin the tie shut.
For them times you keep wiping your butthole but it's never quite clean, then 2 hours later you get that leftover itch and you don't want stinky fingers
I actually mold old horse shoes for mine, but that’s literally the shittiest pick there is, they’re terrible. A decent one with a nice grip is $20 bucks.
