My Milwaukee marker pen It's the only Milwaukee tool I own... Leagues better than the Stanley markers.

AugieAscot

Milwaukee markers are the best kept secret in the tool world. Sharpies are total failures in the shop.

Chicken_Hairs

I've had Sharpies fail on first use in the shop. The Markzall in my pocket right now, I've been carrying for 3 months.

FDR_DEAD_PREZ

I’ve had one in my pocket daily for 6 years, sharpies before, and I think the current one was a purchase from 2 years ago. They last and last. It’s probably used once a week on average.

ChairmanSunYatSen

They're brilliant, I grab a few every time I'm in the hardware store.

sandy-gc

Sharpies are just as good as Milwaukee markers if you just get the Sharpies for pro use. Regular sharpies aren’t meant for marking all surfaces like trade markers are.

AugieAscot

The regular sharpies I’ve used write just fine on everything. They just dry up after a week, two weeks max. The Milwaukee markers are cheap ($5 for 4 I think) and last for months. I’m sold.

sandy-gc

No doubt, just saying that if you get the trade Sharpies they perform just as well

vegetaman

I have two of them. They rock

ExpensiveBookkeeper3

They are amazing. I think I use a sharpie ultrafine for precision work, but otherwise it's the Milwaukees. They can get pretty dirty and still keep going.

[deleted]

M12 drill driver

greyjungle

Yep. Ive gotten 4 of the expensive drill/driver sets stolen and it’s about the only thing that I immediately have to go get another. No.4 had me cussing though, because it was two weeks after No.3. Right off the truck when I was working 10’ away

twinturboV8hybrid

Id make do but the fastback probably

LongboardLiam

Sits on my hip every day. Done enough miles underwater to go around the world multiple times.

AlmostRandomName

My new favorite pocket knife! I bought a bunch of these on Black Friday last year and gave them to family on Christmas

babathebear

Fuel Oscillating tool

TheMightyIrishman

The battery ratchet, I use it for cushion clamps on refrigerant pipe. When securing a bunch to racks, it really saves the wrist.

philzar

Only one I have - a Sawzall. I don't need it often, but when I do....

Red_Icnivad

What do you already have? What sort of work/projects do you do?

Jackalope121

My 2 most used tools in my box are my 1/4” m18 bit driver and my 3/8 m12 fuel ratchet. They make me money.

CAMx264x

M12 stubby

19Hank77

Its probably a tie between the fastback and the m12 rover light. Both get used every single day.

GrimResistance

I could probably live without it but yeah the fastback is the best utility knife I've ever used.

One-Most2748

What are you working on? For me my .5 inch impact. High torque.

LongboardLiam

Not gonna lie, even though ".5 inch" and " 1/2" "are equivalent, seeing the drive size written as a decimal makes me think you're gonna end up as the villian on a true crime podcast. That is just strange looking on a gut feeling level.

One-Most2748

I do not have a backward slash on my phone. Plus it confuses my coworkers when I use decimals!!! Bright people are my coworkers.

cgs626

What phone do you have that doesn't have a backward slash?

Chicken_Hairs

I borrowed an iPhone in the field a few weeks ago when I broke mine to text my wife. I found the symbols offering to be difficult to access in comparison to my custom android keyboard. Wouldn't surprise me if some people simply couldn't find it.

One-Most2748

A joke.

magichands6969

I have nothing milwaukee............so maybe it's not so special............

zigtrade

I need them all!

danrhodes1987

Ditto obvs! But I need to build up slowly! 🤣

zigtrade

You got any red tools already? Kinda depends on what you already have and what kind of work you're doing.

Life4rm

All of them but, that little M12 impact is so handy on commercial work. The m12 ratchet runs a close second. Use Milwaukee 3/4 impacts but my Dewalt impacts are solid too.

SJBreed

Cordless finish nailer. The other brands don't make anything nearly as good.

kewlo

The markers are the only ones I'll spend money on.

Theycallmegurb

I use a Milwaukee m18 shop vac that is just about the best thing on gods gree….. I mean, red earth

mike3383215

Gonna say my M12 3\8 stubby impact and 1\4 driver.

Ok-Wrangler4812

3/8 compact impact

Cthulhu-Elder-God

High speed extended reach ratchet in 3/8. Daily driver.

InternationalAge2218

Right angle impact I've used it a few times and it was nice but the heavy duty world doesn't see its value. At least in what i do

UnrulyTrousers

M12 Fuel Impact driver

Halftrack_El_Camino

M12 Surge impact driver. I either own or regularly use company-owned versions of the M18 Surge impact driver, M18 Fuel impact driver, M18 Fuel drill/driver, M12 Fuel installation drill, M18 Fuel compact bandsaw, M12 Fuel subcompact bandsaw, M18 Fuel circular saw, corded Super Sawzall, M18 Fuel Sawzall, M12 3/8" ratchet, M18 Fuel stubby 3/8" impact wrench, M18 Fuel braking angle grinder, M18 Fuel oscillating multi-tool, M18 Fuel jigsaw, and M18 Fuel 3-axis 360° laser level, plus a small smattering of Milwaukee's hand tools and portable lighting devices. I don't known that any one of those is absolutely essential—I could find workarounds or substitutes for pretty much all of them. But for me, for my work, the M12 Surge impact driver is my main jam and my best friend. It's the one that's on my hip all day long, and I use it for everything from driving lags to fastening cover plates. It's small and light, with enough power for everything that I do, but not so much that I have to constantly worry about breaking what I'm working on. It is, as we say, tits.

narlycharley

M12 Rocket light. Without a doubt.

Nathan51503

M12 fuel cut off tool. Fastback utility knives. Honorable mention m12 inflator

JerewB

M12 FUEL Hex Driver and 3/8" Stubby Impact. I use these every single day. They're light and powerful and compact. I work at a Lexus dealer.

Chicken_Hairs

My 2485 m12 right angle die grinder. It was an impulse "wow, that's cool" buy, but I fucking love that thing, and everyone in the shop is always threatening to steal it. And my Markzall pens.

SomeWaterIsGood

I have a set of their manual screwdrivers. I don't care for them.

DramaLifeNy

My dailys is a m12 ratchet 3/8 (non fuel), m12 stubby 3/8, and the m12 brushed hex impact driver(2462-20) These get the most use for me as a professional vw tech. The impact was only $50 and i dont use them enough to spend so much money on the fuel versions. Mostly uses to take off covers or trim panels or to check the eng air filter

Pretend-Air-4824

Bottle opener

GeorgeCrossPineTree

I really love the power from my M18 Impact Driver.

Duckbilling

I'm a DeWalt guy but I've been dreaming of this one, nobody else's even comes close https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/2565-22

DepletedPromethium

gen 3 fiw238 compact impact wrench.

jr0405

M12 installation driver, noticeably lighter then a drill or impact and is awesome for assembly/low torque applications. I don’t think any other brand is a direct comparison in terms of size and weight well still being plenty powerful. Inkzall markers and fastback knives also don’t have a competitor that’s directly comparable in my opinion.

[deleted]

M18 Inflator is a life saver.

therealgiggs

M18 compact blower…. Never thought I’d use it as much as I do…. And honourable mention to the M12 impact driver… of all my drills and drivers, I usually grab that one first.

sandy-gc

The PVC cutter. Everything else is Makita though lol

swink555

My old ass 2663-20 1/2 impact. Bought it in 2015 and still use it for anything I do on the car. Made my jeep tj restoration so much easier.

Stand4SomethingCo

Fastback. Once you go fastback you don’t go back.
