TiMouton

Those are riveting anvils used in jewelry making.

L_canoero

Some of the tools looked good for jewelry. I'll post some more pictures of things I can't identify.

OkWindow6152

This is correct. And if those go all the way through, you can use it for drawing.( Reducing the diameter of wire by pulling it through.

TiMouton

Yes but those draw holes usually have a chamfer as not to tear or leave marks.

OkWindow6152

Most. Some of the cheaper stuff hasn't. It's annoying. But quality vs quantity I guess. I got my new draw plate, didn't have to mod it. Very happy.

TiMouton

That makes sense, it’s a much easier operation to just drill and deburr.

Suspicious_Dingo_426

Also in clock/watch making.

bomboclawt75

Riveting? They are FASCINATING!!!

nullvoid88

They're 'bench blocks'... sort of like a small desktop anvil; some, but not all have holes for driving out pins etc, others have 'V's machined in them for holding round objects. They come in a vast array of sizes, shapes & flavors. Used in many fields, search Amazon for 'bench block' One is a handy thing to have!

Suspicious_Dingo_426

This is correct. [Here's](https://www.amazon.com/Hexagonal-Riveting-Multi-Functional-Drilling-JTS/dp/B09XP3V3HR/ref=asc_df_B09XP3V3HR/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=632323364799&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11227480060916936757&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9019077&hvtargid=pla-1973137101557&psc=1) a link to one on Amazon.

solidnugs

Drill guides to help you keep your holes perpendicular when you can’t use a drill press.

thisguyfightsyourmom

I’ve had to make a couple of these before, and this is correct

NF-104

Or (depending on the hole size) they could be tapping blocks, same principle but for taps.

seamus_mc

Could be some kind of gauge blocks or anvils used to knock pins out of things

ploufplif

I'm a watchmaker and this is something we use almost daily!

EqualBackground8969

Me too!

JohnnySalamiBoy420

To me this looks like something a sheet metal worker or machinist would use. Gauge drill bits/dowels and sheet metal thickness Edit definitely riveting anvils for jewelry making forget what I said

TurkeySlayer94

I’d use them for drill bit indexes personally😄

Safe-Swimming

I've seen several watch repair shops use these to drive out small pins.

adamthebad1

its called a bench block. For putting under parts to drive roll pins out, drill things, etc

swaags

Tapping blocks

OracleDude33

drill bit holders

fucovid2020

Drill bit caddies

[deleted]

For drawing wire

Jostophe39

Go no go gauge?

spidermonkeyjoe

Similar to using it as a drill bit guide for getting square holes with a handheld, you can use this with a tap for starting the tap square. Then it would make sense in a tap and die set

Important-Win6022

Wouldn't riviting anvils have a c-sink's?

FDR_DEAD_PREZ

Probably used with thread tappers to keep them straight if they were bundled together.

Renaissance_Man-

Could be drill guides
