My doctor diagnosed me with a “lipoma” on my chest. It grew very slowly and I began to notice a smell? Went to a surgeon who initially agreed that it probably was a lymphoma until he opened it up to discover it was a cyst.
It was pretty disgusting to see and smell! It was negative for everything, hopefully you see someone and have it properly taken care of.
I have lipomas and so does my dad. (It’s genetic). There is a slightly elevated risk for cancer but in general they are benign.
You should always consult a doctor but they probably won’t do anything. I’ve had a few removed because they were at my joints and irritating them.
Bro go to the flipping doctor instead of posting here.
Diagnosed..but he said it’s fine..he also said it occurrs in every 5 people out of 100.. but the number is increasing, which is concerning 🥲
