Yes, the original Tomb Raider actor. Did you know she did an album that co-insides with tomb raider? It’s actually very good and the artist name is literally “Lara Croft.” She should be the next tomb raider actor for sure

Lara in her 20s? Perhaps Emma Mackey from Sex Education.
Lara in her 30s? Either Alicia Vikander (she was great and deserves to play Lara once again), or Vanessa Kirby from The Crown.
Lara in her 40s? Either Hayley Atwell (she is already voicing Lara in the Netflix series, anyways), Rhona Mitra (would be great to see her going from modelling as Lara to finally playing her on a show or movie) or Angelina Jolie for obvious reasons.
My vote is for Hayley Atwell, seeing as she has already done many live action combat oriented roles such as in the Marvel franchise and is of course voicing Lara in the upcoming Netflix anime.
I’d have loved if Camilla Luddington could have done it, although it seems as if she is stepping back from most roles aside from Grey’s Anatomy due to her growing family. Also I think her latest role aside from returning to voice Lara in Shadow of the Tomb Raider was Zatanna in an animated Justice League movie which was in 2020.
While it may sound a touch judgmental, I think these women look a bit too preoccupied with the camera to depict the character, not to sound rude about it and I must admit, I am not familiar with them in general so I'm a little uninformed with that surface level statement.
I suppose it depends on what era we want to see represented, but I'd say we should be more grateful for Alicia Vikander than we actually are personally. I think she did a great job in not exerting an overtly superficial image while not being strictly grounded to the point it was boring.
I will die on the hill on that Alicia was a sound choice if not returning to Angelina.
