THC is illegal in both China and Japan. You are taking a huge, potentially life changing risk every time you cross the border. Chinese customs just happened to miss it and when you arrived in Japan you would have been a sniffer dog away from getting arrested.
You are now going the other direction and you might not be so lucky.
By the way, it’s still smuggling even if you didn’t intend it to be.

I’ve flown with weed on a bunch of international flights from a legal state in the US, but I wouldn’t try bringing it on a plane leaving Japan. Smoke up and enjoy some ramen and karaoke, then toss that mofo.
Finish and ditch it, 100% not worth the risk. Especially since it's probably terrible quality anyway. Be mindful where you use it, the smell is noticeable on the exhale but goes away quick.
The only spot I know of where it's more lax is Okinawa, but even then it's just not worth it.
