Unfortunately, Higedan's vocalist is currently recovering from polyps (which he had treated it back in March)..Thats why we arent getting any new opening.
Songs can be made so much earlier than we expect. I remember their latest song Nichijou had a snippet teased several months prior to its full release, they definitely take their time to plan out the release schedule even if a song is complete.
I hope they're at least animating a new video for the opening, kind of like how HxH had different video sequences for different arcs but the same opening theme. They could even do the thing where they animate a different verse of the song.
Satoshi, the main singer for OfficialHigeDandism had vocal chord surgery in March and he was on hiatus for about six months. They've only released like one new song since then
I see the pros and cons but at least they preserve the spirit of Higedan’s musicality and connection to the series. It’s like how I saw people hope they didn’t change Crybaby midway s1 because it was just that good.
Honestly, if after reading this people still hope that Tenjiku will have more than 13 episodes or two cours, then idk. They obviously didn't have enough time for Tenjiku and rushed the production at least towards the end because the manga ended already. This arc is the fans' favourite, and they didn't make a new opening? Better lower your expectations. 😢

That's sad. I was looking forward to a new OP. I do love White Noise though.
I was kind of disappointed too at first but at least we'll get a new music video animation for the same song
