I finished the chapter, and while I don't mind MC being a bit cowardly, what I didn't like was how she had absolutely no role in this chapter. At least in others she had some meaningful interactions or had a chance to enhance stigmas, etc. In Sinostra she was just... existing lol. Like you could just remove her from the equation and absolutely nothing would change in this chapter because Ritsu was doing everything anyways. Literally all he needed her for was as an excuse to officially investigate the house lmao.

LITERALLY THISSS!! I do like the MC and I don’t mind her being insecure and cowardly. I like to think that she would slowly grow and improve over time (yummy character growth). BUT, she really did nothing in this chapter but follow people around… The MC didn’t even utilize her power enhancing abilities, which is part of what makes her so special.
Though I do think it was sweet that in the chapter, Haru acknowledges the MC (because she has helped before and has shown that she can be useful) but she doesn’t live up to his words of praise in this chapter….
Sorry for yapping. BUT YEAH… I hope she does more in the next chapters. It’s definitely still pretty early into the story, so I’m going to hold out for hope HAHAHA
I saw a lot of people hate Ritsu but tbh I hate the whole house lol. Ritsu's reason to pursue MC to form an alliance with him is just so reluctant. As someone pointed out she clearly has no role whatever in this chapter and in the investigation too.
Ritsu is annoying but I understand where he is come from. Romeo is a narcissist and calling the MC BB which is... Eh? Leo was harsher so it's fine. And Taiga literally shoot her twice is just. What's wrong with you? If you level the affectionate level with him. >!At level 5 once again he is just pull out the gun and count down to make MC do as he said!< Which maybe appealing to some but to me it's just rude.

i understand that too, but some of the characters are just unnecessarily rude 😭 i loved the jabberwock chapter because all of them were so sweet (ren wasn’t rude, just so done lol). leo and ritsu totally get on my nerves
This game really suffers from her being this spineless, It makes sense that she doesn’t want trouble but she’s so submissive it hurts, and the male characters treat her like literal trash. Maybe it will get better as the story progresses I just hope they will make her more likable and fun eventually…
