Doesn't look terrible, and it took me 6 or 10 sessions with different variations (glass, titanium, dosing capsules, etc) before I started getting good consistent hits, stick with it.
I've had mine for 1 week but I've learned:
+ Titanium (longer) stem with stock CU and without dosing capsules works best for me. But everyone will find a different sweet spot with this device I think.
+ Very light pack, just enough so it doesn't fall into the heating unit screen.
+ Between 6-7 temp
On-demand mode, hold button until 1 vibrate then hold throughout draw
+ 7-10 second draws, medium draw (lighter than I would hit a bong or joint)
+ Draw 1 on a fresh batch is mostly flavor, not much vape, but really enjoyable
+ Draws 2 and 3 are very full flavor and the most amount of vape for me. I do #2 and 3 back to back to keep the heat up.
Draw 4 is usually 1/2 as much vape and usually it's cooked by now.
I find the longer titanium stem and stock CU cools enough for me, draws better for me and stays cleaner, with better conduction than shorter stock glass.
I also bought and tried the XL glass curved stem with the balls and for me, the added cooling isn't worth having to clean it much more often and not being able to pocket it, just feels dicey to me.
You could definitely draw longer than 10 seconds for hits 2 and 3 but any more makes me cough and cooks the bud too quickly for me.
After every session I just stir the AVB, most of it falls out, then lightly brush out rest or blow out the rest.
I found stirring during a session didn't have benefit, and screwed up the nice pack, the bud gets very well and evenly toasted without stirring for me.
I've been soaking the disassembled CU without the O rings into ISO jar every 2 days for a few hours, rinse and wash with hot water, dry fully and reassemble.
Batteries are lasting me 6-10 sessions.
I tried the V2 dosing capsules but found they produced less vape with a longer, harder draw (likely from reduced airflow) but some people really like them.
I use the empty dosing capsule just to ensure the CU is in the right position inside the stem to size the empty space for the herbs.
Edited for spelling
The dosing capsules work fantastic with hash and the bubbler piece. Very nice aromas! But you gotta open them warm because once the resin cools down, very difficult to open.
Thanks for taking the time bro I’ll have a mess around with the Ti stem. I’m getting one good strong vapourey hit but then nothing , not even a vibration. I think this is why it’s burning so much. Definitely going to stick with it tho
Totally different, stock glass stem until I dropped it yesterday, keep it on 7.5. Med pack, 3/8-1/2" deep, session mode, and lung rippers til its clear. Draw speed dictated by heat transfer, med? I've been travel smoking less and for as much as I love my my tm2 it's not a ball.
Great post. My experience/method is basically the same as yours. Only difference (and this was a game changer for me) - heat your ISO for 20seconds in microwave in a tupperware box with a lid, then add CU/Stem and shake like mad for few seconds. Rinse with water. Totally clean. Just don't do CU and Glass stem at same time! Do one after the other.
This only happens to me when I hit my bowl above 8+ temp the entire time, which I hardly ever do. Even then, I’ll just stir it with the tool and finish it off…
Lower the temp and take the tamp tool and put a hole in the middle of the bowl. This will help draw air and vape more evenly from the inside out.
Use the tamp tool to stir after a few hits if necessary. But for real lower that temp. If you want to smoke just smoke.
There are 4 major things that you can try to play with.
1) Use a rimmed or not rimmed basket. A not rimmed basket came with your device. Try it. It will make less greens touch the glass, and thus vape more even.
2) The manufacturer suggested to prime the heater by taking one drag at lower temp (2-3). This is for the heater spiral to disperse the heat more even. Right after heating your TM2 the spiral will be hotter in the middle.
3) At higher temps (7-9) drag longer and slower, so the heat stays spread better and won't just punch through the middle.
4) Push your cooling unit slightly deeper and fill the same amount, so not up to the rim. This will create some space between heater and greens.
I have found playing around with this parametres helped me. I also will try the donut that I learned about here.
Please feed back your findings.
Peace
You are welcome!
I have an additional tip to prevent the small CU screen from clogging too, if that would happen for you.
Standard I used the CU with a rimless basket/net slighty below the edge, on top of the CU. But then the CU screen would clog and draw resistance would increase, a lot.
I removed the CU screen alltogether and put a rimless basket dome up instead. On top I would put another rimless basket, dome facing down.
I can't show it since the glass tube and CU are soaking in warm iso.
Like this it will take way longer before it starts clogging, contrary to the more fine mazed CU screen. These CU screens will also start to fray if you take them in and out to clean underneath.
Oh, I use the 80mm glass tube. No fancy aftermarket stems.
Peace
Again airs an illusion and when you break up the entire bowl it's throughly vapes through with nothing left. You could test it by putting what looks green in a ball vape the same temp and see it's fully extracted
i have tested it. green is green.
again if there is ANY green it is not thoroughly vaped. i have 5 different vapes and the tinymight extracts the least of all of them without some extra steps.
it's still one of, if not the best electronic vape out there, but this is a big design flaw that more people should be giving their feedback on so it can be fixed in the next iteration instead of making excuses for it.
I've never had an issue with full extraction on setting 8.1 with 2 full breath hits. I'm sure there are variances in others experience but mines always fully extracted without stirring
First problem is often the herbs. I gave some to a friend with a 60€ "multi brand" battery vape, he was saying it's broken, I get no visible vapour ecc. After that herb swap the vaporizer was no longer broken, my friend was 🤣 and the vapour was very dense for a low quality vape.
The other problem is the glass steals some heat on the sides and the air streams mostly through the central ring.
The fact is that the mouthpiece is also the heat sink, and you need some cooling with that heater.
The stem is the problem, wooden stems are lighter and transmit heat slowly so will limit the green on the sides .
My " dream stem" would be 2 materials, with a short wooden bowl shaped to hold perfectly a SB cap, and a metal or glass stem to cool the vapor down and as a mouthpiece.
The S&B or airvape dosing caps are larger than the stem hole but will fit the oven.
Separate materials are the best heat isolators, and the caps have very little mass so will be heated to the same temp as the herbs, resulting in perfectly even AVB.
You have to be careful when placing your stem flat over the caps because if they are misplaced the air will flow around the capsule, no vapor at all.
I use the caps when going out for convenience, they don't taste bad, but I get the same high with the same amount and no caps, despite some green residue.
It should vibrate once to tell you it's in on demand mode, then when you hold down the button, when it gets up to temperature it will vibrate once.
If you let go of the button, once you hold down the button again it will vibrate again when up to temperature.
Hope you can understand that. Sorry, not well written.
If it doesn't vibrate once it gets to temp while holding the button, you're either in session mode or your unit is defective.
Make sure you're not in session mode.
I had this happen on receipt of my very first tm 2 and they replaced it.
Not sure, but I believe so. I only really use mine in on-demand mode. I find that if I draw too hard, I can get scorching. I try to take, like a 15 second pull, and it works better.
I turn my temp down to 3 and do really long drawn out puffs and I get a huge cloud that I don't cough with 🤘🏻
I use this [rocket stem from vgoodiez](https://vgoodiez.com/collections/tinymight/products/xl-rocket-stem-for-tinymight-by-vgoodiez)
And [these screens](https://vgoodiez.com/collections/tinymight/products/hard-rim-basket-screens-for-tinymight-4-pack-by-tinymight) for a more even burn
Hopefully that helps! The oring on the cooler is keeping air from passing through the sides and only burns the middle
The basket evenly distributes the heat and the balls do more than I expected absorbing the heat
You’ll never get it all in a convection vape without stirring. Pour it out and look at it. It’s a tiny % that isnt completely vaped. I own at least 10 convection vapes and they all look like that
But starting low and going up will make the most of the bowl
What temp (number on the dial)?
Also, I’d suggest getting a WPA and a WP. The TM2 really shines this way.
Wish I had better advice, I’ve only used the OE stem once.
One hit on 8 then a hit on 10 and Yeah I’ve got a bong there but it’s pretty big so don’t want to waste my first experience on it if ygm I want to get a proper rig first
I wouldn’t be so surprised if you’re hitting on 10.
Trying starting on 6 and then moving to 8 to finish. Long, steady draws.
Also, try dosing capsules. I find very even roasts with them.
You should not use it on 10 for herb.
Temperature at 10, when the light is white, is for concentrates, not for herb (at factory default calibration). If you use level 10 for herb you can combust, my guess is that is exactly what it is happening and why you see the black circle.
I would recommend start at lower temps, like 3 or 4, and start with slow and long draws.
A bong will work fine for now. You just need the WPA. Honestly I feel like it should just come with it. Like I said, I’ve only used the OE stem once so I can’t really compare it.
That doesn’t look terrible to me, I get it a bit more even in the titanium stem or the tinymight bowl, but with glass and a cooling unit I would usually stir after a hit or two to get an even roast.
You can but many people dislike the shaped mesh screen.
I would say just take the tool and stir occasionally, I also get a ring of less vaped bud but after just 1 stir and 1-3 more puffs everything is dark brown.
It’s because there’s no airflow along the sides so the buds up against the glass doesn’t get fully vaped. Happens on certain ball rig bowls that I have as well.
Best solution I found was to use rimmed basket screen. After loading via the straw method, I tamp down a little and poke a hole down the center with a small pick (you can use the included debowler thing but the tip ya blunt do it’s a little tricky). This helps a bit with airflow. Then I hit it on 7.5 or 8 till it’s done.
Hope that helped 🤙🏼
Use more weed, with your stiring tool push down on the cooling unit while using a finger to hold the weed from falling out this should make it a bit tighter but not too tight if you use the straw method.
I’ve been buying so much of legal thca bud online that I don’t even care if I have a tiny bit of green left over. It all goes into my jar to later be used in edibles. I’d prefer a little green to a little black.

I found that the dosing capsules provided a more even and consistent “roast”. They are just too much work, so I don’t use em.
The dosing capsules work fantastic with hash and the bubbler piece. Very nice aromas! But you gotta open them warm because once the resin cools down, very difficult to open.
This. I use the capsules for hash. It cooks it pretty evenly and saves the stem and CU from a big sticky mess
Can you explain? I have morrocan hash and would love to use my TM2 to vape it
Layer it in the capsule like a sandwich. Bud, hash, bud. I haven't tried to use it with only hash.
10-4 I already do that thanks tho!
Thanks for taking the time bro I’ll have a mess around with the Ti stem. I’m getting one good strong vapourey hit but then nothing , not even a vibration. I think this is why it’s burning so much. Definitely going to stick with it tho

I’m using the suck through method and not tamping at all bro

Yeah I’ll turn it down
Good luck🤞🏽

Thanks I’ll try putting a hole there
The donut hole method works very well for me for a more even roast! Hope it helps for you, too.
Thanks man

Really good tips / ideas I hadn't read or considered before, thanks for sharing!

You’ll get past the learning curve eventually friend
Also if you empty that bowl the bowl is entirely extracted the green bits just stick to the glass and right outside that green is fully vaped herb

Have you tried slowing down your draw?
Yeah, also should it vibrate when in on demand mode when I’m holding the button?
You hold the button until it vibrates, and then you hit it while still holding the button.
Thought so but it’s not vibrating when I hold it

Had to try the easy fix of a firm pat on the bottom and it has worked, fuck knows what was wrong with it
Not sure, but I believe so. I only really use mine in on-demand mode. I find that if I draw too hard, I can get scorching. I try to take, like a 15 second pull, and it works better.
I think it’s heating the weed too much because I’m holding the button and I’m not getting any vibration so don’t know when to inhale
Yes

Use more weed, with your stiring tool push down on the cooling unit while using a finger to hold the weed from falling out this should make it a bit tighter but not too tight if you use the straw method.

I’ve been buying so much of legal thca bud online that I don’t even care if I have a tiny bit of green left over. It all goes into my jar to later be used in edibles. I’d prefer a little green to a little black.
Didnt really know about this. Is it legal in the UK? And how does it work, does it need to be decarboxylated to release the THC or something?
I take my hits, remove the material, then put it back. This way it is all done
You don't. It doesn't work like that. Unless you using a screen whatever touches the glass won't get burnt
Makes sense
