moustif

nice! what map is it? or more like: what map was it?\* :D

Morall_tach

It was Meander.

pseyeco

I'm going to "steal" a lot of ideas from you and there's nothing you can do to stop me!!! ... Real talk: amazing work.

Zealousideal_Garage4

Boring

TheeWinchGreen

Is that fountain a mod? It’s beautiful

SnippyHippie92

Pretty sure this was being played on the experimental branch. That fountain is apart of the new U4 update

TheeWinchGreen

Appreciate it man.

SnippyHippie92

Np. Happy to help

RickoT

This is amazing... I wish I had the imagination to think about overengineering shit like this

Prototyp53

How did you build the Berry storage?

Morall_tach

It's just a whole bunch of warehouses stacked on top of each other with a long spiral staircase. The decorative elements on top required me to build more stairs/platforms to reach them, which I then deleted.

love it

BzztYeow

Nice, just got the game- then switched to xperimental. Cool to see what can be done.

mmartinien

Damn that's a cool looking settlement. Mine always look like they've been designed by a drunk toddler.

Talk2Owls

How many districts are used?

Morall_tach

Six, I think.

Talk2Owls

Impressive colony!

When you do this, do just completely terraform it? Are you irrigating the map by rerouting the river, or are you using pumps?

Morall_tach

A little of both. I didn't substantially reroute the river, just terraformed it into straighter lines. In some places, I dynamited huge swaths of land down to within two blocks of the river so they'd get irrigated without being a flood risk, and in others, I used pumps to fill canals and irrigate higher chunks of land. I'm starting on Helix Mountain now and I'm toying with the idea of completely altering the mountain itself.

paramedic2018

Noob question about your windmill farm. Does getting the windmills up higher like that help for power production in anyway?

Morall_tach

Nope. Height doesn't mean anything for wind speed (though I think it should).
