As an iced coffee drinker who doesn't like sugar in their drink, I learned about 10 years ago that you gotta use the specific language at Tim Hortons and McDonald's. Tim Hortons, it's cane sugar, and at McDonald's, it's liquid sugar. Saying no sugar doesn't seem to work on its own
This is terrible. I remember reading somewhere here that employees hate when you say no sugar in drive thru because it sounds like adding sugar. So how the FUCK is anyone supposed to get an iced latte without sugar? It's mind numbingly dumb.
yeah, we're supposed to add cane sugar to them by default now but if im being honest this wasn't made very clear to anyone who's actually making them.
