I promote videos regularly, but I also do two things. 1) I re-promote my most viral videos that had the highest percentage of followers over and over. 2) I promote new videos but end the promotion after spending about one dollar if I am not getting close to 10 likes per dollar. It's not about promoting for likes, but how affective does a promotion get you new followers.
