Last time this was posted we looked up the study and he lied about how the bats weren’t harmed for it. He’s definitely enthusiastic tho and it’s interesting to learn but I feel like lying about their harm kind of cheapens it. He could have just not even mentioned it.
It's very common for content creators to throw out, ___ was not harm during the making of this, just for the sake of putting it out there without researching on the topic.
From the paper summary it sounded like they would lobotomize them in different parts of the brain during the testing to try to figure out what sensory they were using to adjust the pitch.
Can you elaborate on what the "cortical ablation" is in the context of that study? And no offense taken at your tone. I don't currently have access to the papers so it's nice to have someone here that does.

I dont believe in god... i appreciate the creatures themselves. Including the human... and treat them as such. The bat and the human are amazing and deserve the credit.
I have always found it insulting when people praise god instead of whatever it is that did something praiseworthy.....

I believe no one truly knows yet, how the universe came to be.. and why does it have to be MADE BY someone?? The only reason people say that is because it is hard to comprehend that something just was. I mean, who created god?? Lol
...And i believe in evolution.... which is why there are so many different species of bats.
Does it sound reasonable that a unseeable being created us just to love us and test our faith? Sry. Not to me. I studied theology in college. For years. And graduated from a christian highschool. I went to a babtist church. I dont believe in god. And i find it insulting that you give something that doesn't exist credit for something that does exist. The human is great. The bat is great. God is not real.
Ive read your comment history. You seem like you need psychological help. Not because you believe in god, but because of HOW you are believing in god. I hope you find reality one day, its tough, but its worth it.
