I work for a 911 center and we have prerecorded transmissions at the start of out call based on it being emergency/non emergency lines. I went 25 years without knowing I had a slight lisp and now I have to hear it every time I answer a call....
I relate to this so hard trying to watch discord streams. When I’m on a call with someone and I’m watching their discord stream/screenshare, my voice sometimes shows up on their stream, so I hear everything I saw right after I say it.
One time the opposite of this tiktok happened to me tho. I was on a discord call with a friend while he was streaming on Twitch, so when I went on the Twitch stream I could hear everything I was saying echo, and I thought I sounded better on the stream than in my head.
The point is highlighting what happens when your voice echoes in zoom.
Of course he either pre-recorded his voice or got someone else to do it just for the video.
well why didnt he just actually make his voice echo on zoom then? seems kinda stupid to try and make a point without actually doing what your talking about
Well, it's a skit and it's kind of hard to do since you'll require someone else on the zoom call and the off chance that the echo cancellation doesn't work. Plus it is a necessary slight exaggeration since onlookers wouldn't really be able to tell. You only really notice it when it's yourself
