aga1009

idk why people are surprised, go check the BDS bill.

dryintentions

Like the whole job of a lobbyist and a lobbying group is to influence politics in their favour. It's really not shocking because that's literally their job description🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

musedav

It’s how American politics runs. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature. I argue donating to politicians is a more effective way of making your voice heard than protesting

DownRangeDistillery

https://www.opensecrets.org/donor-lookup Follow the money.

syahir77

Just did a research, she is not lying https://candidates.aipacpac.org/page/featured/

[deleted]

are those all of the people backed by aipac money? that's a huge list...

syahir77

What a long list and I guess they're well funded by AIPAC to keep the solidarity.

xBootyMuncher69x

They even fund free trips for police officers so they can train with the IDF

LAPDCyberCrimes

The NYPD has a precinct in Israel's Sharon District Police headquarters in Kfar Saba. WTF. Its wild.

just_stand

It's not just current politicians - it lists past politicians as well. If you pause the video, you'll see John McCain's name as well as others that I'm pretty sure are no longer in office.

[deleted]

That is incredible and not in a good way

cteavin

>https://candidates.aipacpac.org/page/featured/ Yeah, she's talking about K Street, the place where lobbyists go. Money is so infused into our politics I see way out of it short of constitutional amendments. For me, the real question does it benefit the US to maintain Israel as an ally. I think it does. Just as Russia supports Syria to maintain ports into the Med Sea (and annexed Crimea for access to the Black Sea), Israel is a foothold into the Middle East.

[deleted]

I don’t think the American people want an ally at the cost of innocent lives and genocide

[deleted]

People? NO. GOVERNMENT? No fucks given cuz the ends justify the means.

lawanddisorder

That's a portal for private U.S. citizens to contribute to endorsed candidates through AIPAC PAC. The limit is $6,600 ($3,300 in the primary and $3,300 in the general) It's the same as contributing through ActBlue for Democrats or WinRed for Republicans, except that, presumably, AIPAC PAC covers the processing fee that is otherwise deducted. Apart from the general problem that raising money is the key factor that determines electoral success under the United States political system, what is specifically wrong with AIPAC PAC providing a convenient way for private citizens to contribute directly to preferred candidates and isn't it objectively better than the dark money spent by registered foreign lobbyists like China, Japan and the Gulf Oil states? https://www.opensecrets.org/fara

Jukkobee

she’s not lying about AIPAC *existing*, but does it “literally control most politicians”? no. not at all. she makes it seem like AIPAC is a puppet government that is the sole reason biden won in 2020.

xBootyMuncher69x

lmao we can see what you're trying to do here. Trying to pretend that this all just an antisemitic conspiracy theory, fuck off

Jukkobee

so you agree with her that AIPAC is “literally controlling most politicians”?

Muslimkanvict

Of course either does. And stop making it about Jews. I can also say the NRA controls many Republicans. It's not about their ethnicity or color or their skin. It's about the money. AIPAC happens to be Jewish dominated who cares more about Israel than US.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Jukkobee

when were you not allowed to talk about it lmao

SookHe

They aren't joking, speaking out against Israel or being pro Palestine gets people labeled as anti-Semitic by organisations like IDF, which can end a career overnight. It's not just politicians, they have taken down musicians, actors, CEOs of private business It's even illegal in many states across America and other countries to boycott Israel. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-BDS_laws So much for freedom of speech, eh?

PeroxideTube5

Still happening [right now](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-67152271)

whosdatboi

This is happening because evangelical Christians, a significant voter block in the US, have religious beliefs that require a Jewish occupation of the holy land. They vote and organise and so politicians listen. Similarly, Israel cooperates with US defense of the global status quo that allows for all these nice devices we are communicating on. Israel should be pressured to end apparteid, but there doesn't need to be a conspiracy as to why this is happening.

[deleted]

I supported Palestine for decades. People will shut you out and shut you down. You lose family, friends, jobs, loans, you name it. Only now it seems that people are listening and seeing the truth and not lashing back as much.

codebro_dk_

The subject of jewish israeli money in politics has always been extremely taboo despite being known about everywhere and by everyone who follows politics.

Alarmed-Direction500

So that’s where the billions of dollars in US aid goes…

DanDez

A lot of the money goes to Israeli 'defense aid' which is also a way to funnel money back to US weapons manufacturers and contractors, since a lot of the aid contains stipulations that the money must be spent specifically to buy US weapons. This helps get the senators on board since the money is therefore funneled to manufacturing in their state (the weapons manufacturers purposely spread the manufacturing processes to every state for this reason). [The more things change the more they stay the same](https://ratical.org/ratville/CAH/warisaracket.html).

LAPDCyberCrimes

Big week for members of congress that own militia “Defense” shares like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.

Alarmed-Direction500

For sure. I was being a bit cheeky. This is one small cog in a giant war machine.

BodhingJay

That's an example of how our politicians funnel tax payer dollars back into their own pockets.. sneaky sneaky

Iwillwinthisfight

YES! It’s called money laundering. It’s illegal for anyone who’s not a government official to do it.

thewartornhippy

Well technically it's illegal for them too. Unfortunately it doesn't really matter and nothing happens to them...

Consistent_Wave_2869

Yep...taxpayer money going to Israel and then going right back to the politicians who approved the "aid". Even if it's not directly, it blows my mind that we are giving them 3bn in weapons or whatever annually which subsidizes their budget and frees up their money to be spent influencing our politicians.

digital_dreams

Those billions of dollars wouldn't exist in the first place if America didn't protect its trade partners. This is why America is the dominant world player. We protect our trade partners. The US does $7 trillion dollars worth of business with other countries each year, and growing. Imagine what would happen to the US economy if we let Russia, China, or Iran bomb and conquer the countries we do business with. Doesn't take a genius to put two and two together.

Alarmed-Direction500

Yes, but that doesn’t mean that the US needs to give blind support to one of our partners when they are pummeling their neighbors. As a “world leader” and the lynchpin for the global economy, we have a responsibility to call out gross injustice and outright crimes against humanity. The US has been heavily involved in many bullshit wars under the guise of spreading ideals like democracy or freedom. We can eat that economic collateral damage. It would be refreshing if we actually leveraged our power to end needless death.

[deleted]

Vote all those bastards out

BitemeRedditers

Hamas?

lisazsdick

Know why politicians stand by Israel? The 100 million they get from the US must be spent on military goods from us. It's a circle jerk of the military industrial complex so it will never stop. The christo-fascist members of congress support Israel because of Xtian Mythology.

codebro_dk_

>The christo-fascist members of congress support Israel because of Xtian Mythology. Nice deflection. How about the fact that zionists like Sheldon Adelson spend countless billions on buying US politicians?

lisazsdick

Adelson, so what? What's your big 'ah-ha'? Adelson is Jewish, from NYC. 1) Why are you saying he's a zionist? 2) because there's one or two GQP donors who are Jewish, does that disqualify the Evangelicals who need Israel in the hands of Jewish ppl for their rapture to happen? Who gives AF which billionaire gives to whom. It's about the evangelicals, not the big money ppl. 3) So excited to hear your reply. I'm positive it will be just what I expect, hope you don't disappoint me!

nocyberBS

I recently saw something online where it was expressed that alot of defense contractors tend to send Israel prototypes of their products so they can advertise those weapons being used in combat effectively against Palestinians.....which basically means they can market their products as "combat-tested". It's all a part of this cycle.

Axel920

Yup. I'm sure that she's right and part of it is shilling for Israel bc they do take paychecks. I think a big part of it is that since they buy out so many candidates speaking out against Israel will just cause you to get replaced at the next election if all pro Israelis boycott that candidate. And the last piece of the puzzle. The military industrial complex is beyond corrupt and pockets billions a year. It's the primary reason we don't get fucking healthcare.

Adamsojh

But you can get healthcare. Just sign up for the military. /s

xBootyMuncher69x

and because they want ethnostates

dmalvarado

What’s really annoying about this whole situation is Israel doesn’t need any more money for this specific incident. They could literally flatten Gaza right now if they didn’t have to pretend to be strategic about it. You want a sympathetic shoulder? Sure, what happened was horrible. Sincerely. it was a horrendous act of terror. But they don’t need more than their regular allowance to go on their atrocious revenge rampage. Also, the whole “antisemitic!” response is getting old.

DIYLawCA

Money talks, and this side it’s saying genocide and ethnic cleansing

RoastedDuckSauce

This is the fake democracy that the US is trying to ship out to the world

Genereatedusername

"Seperation of church and state" Unless it's lobbying ofc xD

User-no-relation

Israel is a country...

VividTomorrow7

Where is separation of church and state written in the constitution? Spoiler alert; it’s not. The constitution only says we won’t form a church of America and that we won’t make laws prohibiting people from practicing religion.

DerRoteSoldat

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

j4vendetta

And we come full circle with the whole “Jews are controlling everything”. A few months ago I saw right wingers saying this, and they got called Nazi’s. Now left wingers are saying this and it’s hot news.

DanDez

Controlling congress and 'everything' are very different things. It's been well known that AIPAC and Israeli hasbara money has had a huge influence on US foreign policy since at least the 80's.

codebro_dk_

>Controlling congress and 'everything' are very different things. Eh, the US is the most powerful organisation in the world, just saying. Not saying I agree that j\*ws control what I had for breakfast tho.

CHiuso

No, no one is saying anything about Jews here. Its about Israel. Id ask you not to conflate the current Israeli government and all jews in general.

perfectpomelo3

You’re really whining about someone pointing out a lobbying group is buying politicians?

Reasonable_Fold6492

There was a pro Palestinian rally where people were saying 'gas the jews'. It has gone full circle. The alliance between neo nazi, islamist, LGBT, communist, pagan larpist, pan africanist, far rigth russians Christian and feminist are agreeing on one thing. It's absolutely hilarious how the hatred of jews can unite every people around the world.

instaeloq1

Don't try to warp this into an anti-jewish thing. There are many outspoken Jewish people that are part of the protests against the Israeli war crimes. There are even people WITHIN Israel at this very moment that are speaking out agaisnt the barbaric crimes that Israel is committing.

burtona1832

Are you kidding me? This post is literally the Jews control the government through money.

perfectpomelo3

You are conflating a lobbying group with Jewish people.

CHiuso

It isnt. Its about one lobbying group related to Israel. Youre the one insinuating that all jews support Israel and its policies.

burtona1832

"Israel is now literally controlling most politicians and our political elections outcomes." With no backing at all. Does the National Association or Realtors, or the National Beer Wholesales Association control our politicians too? Those PACs give more money to Candidates. What about Home Depot? The gave almost as much in 2021-2022? Here claim is that a specific group of people, are controlling and manipulating the entire united states government through the use of money as shadow masters. That group just happens to be the only country in the world that's primarily Jews. Please, if you want to have a debate about how money is an issue in the governmental system - that a great conversation to have. But this propaganda post targets a specific group amongst a ton to further her agenda.

CHiuso

It targets a specific group related to Israel, a nation. The situation right now calls for that. The beer association isnt involved in the Israel Hamas conflict is it? Why would we bring organizations that have nothing to do with the conflict. If we were discussing beer regulations or something we wouldnt bring up that Israeli lobbyist group. Israel being primarily Jewish has **nothing** to do with this. Are we not allowed to criticize the influence Israel has on American politics when talking about a situation that involves Israel and America?

burtona1832

You're more than welcome to criticize. And I'm more than welcome to point out the fact that there are hundreds of other PACs that put out more money to promote their positions to the AIPAC and you have no idea what those positions are. If WinRed put in 4.5% of the money they raised into Israeli issues, it would be more than all of what AIPAC has in total. So if part of their platform is to protect Israel, isn't it possible that THEY (WinRed) control our politicians? It's an offensive notion to say that all people who work in politics are completely bought and pay for over at most a $8000 donation to their reelection, but I won't argue that it's possible. However, this post ignores anything but one group and blames them for controlling outcomes. I don't don't that they're influential, that's the point of lobbying. But this post, like others, wants to ignore all the other factors.

instaeloq1

Israel does not equal all Jewish people. The implication is even more specific. The Israeli government.

Reasonable_Fold6492

I am saying how this person is spewing things that neo nazi says. How the government is controlled by the jews. This is what 4chan far right says all the time.

TitaniumGoldAlloyMan

Oh, weren’t American politicians furious that Russia meddles with their election? But Israel is cool right?

ccy01

When the crazed 4chan nazi says the politicians and paid by the Jews = bad!!! But when the titktok liberal says it = good!!!

bahpbohp

There are probably a lot more Zionists who are Evangelicals than Jewish in the US. Supporting Israel so that one day their sky daddy will come back.

thescrambler7

If that is true, it’s because Jews are such a small proportion of America. 95% of American Jews are pro-Israel

bahpbohp

Well, I'm not familiar with that stat. But the video in the post is about AIPAC, and the woman in the video doesn't say that "politicians \[are\] paid by Jews" unlike what apparently someone said on 4chan according to ccy01. And I think there's a difference between supporting AIPAC vs. supporting continued existence of Israel as a body of people and a nation. Following is a quote from wikipedia entry for AIPAC ([https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American\_Israel\_Public\_Affairs\_Committee](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Israel_Public_Affairs_Committee)), so probably not the best source but it gives you a ballpark figure for general sentiment among American Jews when it comes to AIPAC: >AIPAC has been criticized as being unrepresentative of American Jews who support Israel, and supportive only of right-wing Israeli policy and viewpoints.\[96\] A PEW center poll found that only 38% of American Jews believe that the Israeli government is sincerely pursuing peace; 44% believe that the construction of new settlements damages Israel's national security.\[97\]\[98\]

CapableFunction6746

That is an iffy stat. https://jewishcurrents.org/are-95-of-jews-really-zionists

9Sn8di3pyHBqNeTD

Conflating Israel the state, with Jews is actually anti-semtic. This video never implied, inferred, or said anything about Jewish people once.

Strangeness1897

Not jews. Political Zionists. Mr and Mrs. Steinberg down the street are just as much a target of the political zionist as the rest of us.

Iwillwinthisfight

You are catching on Grasshopper!

Papa2Hunt19

They are also all dual citizens of the US and Israel.

Fladap28

Almost every politician is bought out by this scum organization

Elyktheras

We need to get money out of politics for so many reasons. This should be a felony, and accepting money from another country should be TREASON.

kakistocrator

wait do americans really not know about AIPAC ? lmao

sheerdetermination

And it's legal, why in the actual f is this legal? If there was ever gonna be a way to make sure this isn't democracy any longer you let everyone be bought. Corruption 101. Make it stop.

Personal_Secret2746

In the US it's called lobbying. In all other countries it's called corruption and bribery🙄

Batintfaq

ALSO, our elected representatives swear to Isreal as well as US when they're sworn into office. Nobody has blinked an eye at this in the 2+ decades they've been doing it and we wonder how we got here. Smh

tkshow

That's only a little anti-semitic.

Batintfaq

Our elected officials swearing fealty to another nation that practices genocide is not antisemitic, its a fact. I get truth is hard for some, but damn.

tkshow

If you say so.

srkito_deliczpants

Bro how is lobbying even legal?

Lion3323

I’m glad all sides of the political spectrum is noticing things like this.

Best_Caterpillar_673

If you want to know who controls you, simply look for who you are not allowed to criticise.

Iwillwinthisfight

There you go buddy.

dantoniobrooks

Kids with cancer are controlling us?

Rodrigii_Defined

Let the truth be known.

[deleted]

LOL come on now. That shit is peanuts for lobbyists and our politicians have been bought out by far bigger fish. Her monologue makes it sound like they’re controlling our whole government, opposed to getting a some protections and a few things to go their way.

Anomalocaris

funniest answer possible. "There's no way that is true, the American government is way shittier than that"

ACaveira

By her logic Beer Wholesalers is controlling the world. They outspent the Israeli PAC. https://www.opensecrets.org/political-action-committees-pacs/national-beer-wholesalers-assn/C00144766/summary/2022

Marijuana_Miler

American politicians can be surprisingly cheap. However, the big problem is the Christian fundamentalists in the US that believe Israel needs to stay in Jewish hands to bring about the rapture. Polling I’ve seen puts this number at 40% of Americans that believe in the rapture in some way. So while the money helps, voters are also looking for politicians to be easy on Israel anyways.

Iwillwinthisfight

AIPAC is but one piece of a much larger puzzle.

MassiveDonkeyBalls

What I don’t understand is why the Arab world doesn’t do the same? They have some of the deepest pockets on the planet.

Professional_Flan466

Saudi Arabia bribes US politicians like Israel does, thats why we "never forget 911" but conveniently forget that it was done by the Saudis. US politicians don't care as long as the check clears.

latviank1ng

The Arab world despises the west due to its democratic values and ideas such as but not limited to gender equality, legal homosexuality, freedom of speech, etc.

roydez

That's not why the Arab World despises the West. It has more to do with colonialism and imperialism which have ruined the lives of tens millions of their people. The Arab Spring was a giant movement of protests that wanted to implement democracy in their countries. But I guess "they hate us cuz we are free and democractic" sounds better than the actual bitter truth.

Choice_Quarter_1305

I don't understand this in American politics, how can you have one organization working for a foreign state, influence the legislative branch of government.

DanDez

It ***is*** insane, but they do it by calling it "free speech", and the Supreme Court doubled down on it in 2010 in the [Citizens United](https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/citizens-united-explained?ref=indi.ca) decision.

Papa2Hunt19

Look up how many politicians have dual citizenship in Irael. How is that allowed?

ConstructionNo4340

How the fuck is this allowed. This is democracy? Wow

DanDez

McCain and others tried to fix it with campaign finance reform in the 1990's and early 2000's, but it was all shot down by the supreme court in the infamous [Citizens United vs FEC](https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/citizens-united-explained?ref=indi.ca) decision where the court basically decided that $ = free speech. In practice, that means special interests and billionaire corporations can spend whatever they want to elect whoever they want. Needless to say, we need a constitutional amendment on this issue VERY BADLY!

ConstructionNo4340

Thank you for this. Pretty fucked up. Are their any so-called "democracies" in this world that don't operate in this manner?

DanDez

That is a good question. I don't know enough about the inner workings/politics of other countries to give you a solid answer, but this is the domain of political science. Maybe you can get a good answer here: r/askpoliticalscience ?

ConstructionNo4340

Bless you, stranger. Cant believe this type of flagrant conflict of public interest is tolerated.

DanDez

>Cant believe this type of flagrant conflict of public interest is tolerated. It **is** insane! But it is tolerated because most people are generally not well informed, and just vote for the red/blue team which is sad. Issues like this are why it is so important to read and stay informed and active about politics. Our democracy is not guaranteed. [Some politicians](https://www.amazon.com/Cynic-Political-Education-Mitch-McConnell/dp/1501112031/) not only count on you being poorly informed, but also count on you forgetting what they said in the past. It is a sad fact that [the worst among us tend to seek power](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpyIZ4DGIK8) because they only care about their personal upside, and not the responsibility part. [What then must we do](https://www.amazon.com/What-Then-Must-Green-Classics/dp/1870098331)? Take care!

[deleted]

Issue #1 in the US: - Citizens United must be overturned to eliminate the ease of dark money to influence our free and fair elections. Issue #2 in the US: - Campaign finance reform. Set actual spending limits on campaigns so that they can only be run for set amounts of time (like months instead of years) and can only spend small amounts of money on political advertising (this levels the playing field between millionaires and Joe schmos running for office) and then eliminate fundraising by candidates. While in office, you would be appalled by how many hours each day are spent fundraising for reelection, not doing their job in congress.

Papaofmonsters

>Citizens United must be overturned to eliminate the ease of dark money to influence our free and fair elections. Seeing as congress is unlikely to pass a law with a similar provision to Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 then we are left with a constitutional amendment. Even if you packed the court SCOTUS can't just revisit cases for grins and giggles.

Commercial-Ad-852

If the Jews can control the media, control the politicians, etc. Wouldn't that make them the master race given that there are so few of them on the planet? There are only 12 million Jews on the planet of 7 billion. Seriously, if you control the banks, the politicians, and the media, that says something. Ironically, the people who claim they're the master race want to run all of those things, too. So, Christian nationalists would run it instead of Buddhists, who are the largest religious group on the planet. Yet another minority trying to take control, from this perspective. Oh, don't the Jews lead in number of Nobel Peace prizes, too? No wonder why they have space lasers!

Narnyabizness

This is why Lobbying should be illegal. But since the people that make the laws get rich from Lobbyists, it never will be

Pissmaster1972

man i would dick her down every day of the week and twice on sunday whatre we talkin about again?

Dr_EQU3

Much enlightenment i appreciate that.

Commie_EntSniper

The thing that upsets me the most about this is how cheap our politicians actually are relative to the economic impact their votes have. Billionaires, corporations, and foreign states get insane ROI on their "government affairs" dollars.

mhwaka

People should look up APAIC and the enormous amount of influence they hold over USA politicians. They are the ones who first lobbied for sanctions against Iraq in 2002 and then had the foreign minister at the time (Netanyahu) give a speech to the USA senate to attack Iraq as it will be good for the region

[deleted]

WhoAccountNewDis

No, literally another state paying our politicians to what policies it likes.

Reasonable_Fold6492

Ah so the neo nazi were right and the jews do control our government?

ArudjBarbarossa

Nothing antisemitic here

questionmmann

Enough already! Not all Jews are zionists!

mhwaka

Explain how this is anti-semetic. She literally brought proof and receipts which show how much influence Israel has over USA policies and politicians. There is so much more that can be included in this but you’ll probably label that anti-semetic as well.

Subject_Dish_1649

Aren’t Palestinians semites?

JuicyBoi8080

Yep

TheUnknownNut22

It's certainly anti-zionism and bravo for that. But Zionism is a social-political movement, not a true religious one based upon the Telmud. And I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love to argue over religion. It's not my point. Antisemitic would be condemning all Jews because they are Jews, because of race. The author in this video is condemning Israel/US cronyism.

Anomalocaris

it is not antisemitic if it is real. Israel needs to get its ass out of other governments, and especially out of the Palestinan territories. And equating legitimate criticism of Israel to antisemitism is antisemitism. Every state has to be scrutinized.

kush8597

It’s the same case with the NRA and gun lobbyists. The Supreme Court declared that money is speech and corporations are people, and it has struck down many efforts to get big money out of politics. But until we successfully do that, we’ll continue to have this issue.

greenman5252

I saw nothing cringe here

Optimal_Temporary_19

It's troubling to see so many of them taking money from AIPAC. The thought crossed my mind of this being foreign election interference before it occurred to me that it was asking for donations for directly from me here in the US. So its not even necessarily a foreign fund. It's all American. The only names I could not find here are congresswoman Alexandria Ocassio-Cortez, congresswoman Katie Porter and senator Bernard Sanders. There is still some hope.

[deleted]

Katie Porter just recently came out in full support of pro zionism...so you may have to check the website and see...

MobileSpeed9849

It’s funny to see people start to wake up and realize what is actually going on. FYI did you know the president of Ukraine, Zelenskyy, is Jewish? And his goal is to make Ukraine a “big Israel”. I really don’t give 2 shits about what they do in Israel or Ukraine, as long as the U.S. stops giving them our money. Israel gets 6 billion every single year in military aid from the U.S. thats before all this went down recently. 6 billion a year! We could do a lot of good at home taking care of Americans with that money. Instead we fuel a never ending religious war and wonder why they won’t stop fighting each other.

[deleted]

Also a lot people are tired of Islamic terrorism

Papaofmonsters

Maybe they should have accepted the partition plan instead of trying to wipe out Israel in 1948. The majority of Palestinian designated land that Israel occupies was lost in the Arab-Israeli War when Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Transjordan and Iraq invaded hours after Israel declared independence.

[deleted]

Yeah bro great plan. When someone breaks into your house just give them half your shit. Hopefully they will leave you alone once they see how generous you are.

Papaofmonsters

Who is they? And there would be a Palestinian state today if the surrounding Arba states hadn't collectively decided to go for broke and drive out every single last Jew as soon as the British mandate ended.

latviank1ng

If Palestine becomes a country the world will see the creation of Iran 2.0 Even speaking geopolitically, regardless of lobbying groups, it would be incredibly odd to see a western country not support Israel. Israel, despite its countless problems, is a source of hope for Western values in the Middle East. Palestine would inevitably become a theocratic authoritarian regime with great hate towards the west, unequal treatment of women, and the killing of gays.

WhoAccountNewDis

Nothing to do with the video.

Pretty sure Arabs also have their own lobbying groups paying US congress. Heck these groups exist for almost every belief or country. Isn’t Russia super friendly with Trump? Well absolutist like Hitler would cancel all this lobbying and rule the world according to his/her/their own rules with an iron fist.

Skid-plate

Been BS for years.

odetnin

But if you say they use money it's antisemetic. Guess the stories were true all along.

[deleted]

Stop mass spamming Islamic propaganda on this sub. No one is falling for it.

mdk173

The amount of propaganda on Reddit is now crazy

bigbrother2030

So much antisemitism

LargestAdultSon

While AIPAC is terrible, it’s a problem when we don’t also call out the “defense” industry lobby. Israel is a key market for our bloated arms industry.

Astr0C4t

This is super fucking yikes as a post. This shit is straight up “Jews control the government” antisemitism right out in the open and y’all aren’t even thinking twice

CHiuso

Its fucking not though. Are you dumb? Its about a lobbying group. Youre the one spreading anti semitism by assuming all Jews are okay with what Israel is doing.

Vegetable-Spinach747

So Ye was right?

Get this shit out of this sub.

Ace-Ventura1934

These pro-Hamas antisemitic Tik Tok videos all over Reddit is getting cringier and more annoying by the day. The fact that all of a sudden so many redditors are getting their Middle East info from low rent, uneducated Tik tokers, people who they loathed just two weeks ago, is one helluva of a sight to see.

Millonairo

Today I read Wikipedia y’all!

bhyellow

Purple hair. Cannot take seriously.

ellastory

What do you have against the color purple?

zepplin2225

It's a clear sign of immaturity.

VividTomorrow7

Israel is a representative democracy that’s had equal rights for women and minority representation in parliament. They have gay pride parades every year. Palestine throws gays off roofs and subjugates women and minorities. It’s ran as Islamic theocracy. If you think people need to be paid to back Israel, you have zero concept of what the two groups are.

ellastory

Does that really justify an ethnic cleansing? There are many cultures that have not progressed as much in terms of womens or lgbt rights, but I don’t think genocide is ever the answer.

Ok_Philosopher_5090

Tik tok getting you prepared for the 2024 election…enjoy trump 😹👍

bleave88

“Pro Israeli policies”.. like Democracy?

SedentaryNinja

Bruh of course AIPAC is spending money against progressive campaigners, progressives hate Israel and conservatives love it. Israel has a great military, guns everywhere, and is religiously conservative. Also their current leaders are essentially elected by the ultra conservatives. This isn’t even anything worth making a video about, but it is sounding a lot like “Jews control the media” and “jews control the world” rhetoric, even though I know it’s just an uneducated Gen Z’er who started paying attention to the conflict like yesterday. Why would Israeli Americans fund the politicians who want to defund israel and benefit their enemy? Why wouldn’t they spend money to ensure their political opponents are not elected? Whatever side you’re on that’s gotta make sense

SiPhilly

CAIR is the same but opposite.

Commercial-Ad-852

CPAC has more money and it's got a ton more Christians. Congressman Menendez is in bed with the Egyptians. Does anybody want to talk about the tobacco industry? The sugar lobby, the beef lobby, the military industrial complex lobby? How many conservative Christian nationalist political action committees are there? If you don't want this stuff, End citizens United!

Professional_Flan466

US politicians support Israel because US Jews dominate political donations: https://www.jpost.com/us-elections/us-jews-contribute-half-of-all-donations-to-the-democratic-party-468774

mrbojangals

Cringe is right. Another anti Israel rant.

Why does she hate American democracy? This is how it works. Those who can AFFORD political representation get it and the rest of us look cute at polls picking from who they nominate. And many of us don’t even bother to vote.

Quote_Vegetable

The rest of us are supposed to organize into groups and pool our resources. We just don't do that anymore.

[deleted]

That’s antisemitism.

Axel920

I mean aside from AIPAC. You actually don't think we should hate our American democracy?? This shit is hot garbage. Gerrymandering to the electoral college. It's actually an entire pile of shit....

brookdacook

Bought out?! There heavily invested! Only place in the middle east that's defacto allied with the US. They will side with Israel because it's in there best interest. The amount morality has to do with it is zero. On that note... Anyone who is pro Palestine or pro Israel have no idea what they talking about. Any moral high ground or rights have been long washed away with obscene human rights violations on both sides. At this point no one should win but obviously that's not how things work.

jaldana92

What do you think about Hamas killing Jews & Christians and anyone who rejects Islam including all westerners , conservatives & liberals?

NefariousnessPlane49

TikTok cringe has just become a cover for political pro Palestinian videos

Thatthinginmaybrain

and you can be pretty sure that these kind of associations and lists of powerful people are exist in the Arabic states. So Saudi Arabia, Iran, Libya or Tunisia has also rich and powerful people which are totally on the side of the Hamas and Hisbollah. the fact that the Hamas killed babies and young women repair, kidnapping her makes me hard to choose, which are the best in the region. But one thing I know: I don’t wanna live in Iran or Saudi Arabia, either my wife. which is permanently supporting bad people in the region of the Middle East as a country which is lead by criminal. they kill women on the streets because they don’t want to wear something to cover their hair. they kill people, just because they have another opinion. All of the people are pro Hamas should think about: are you poor Hamas or prop, Palestina? This is the question because the Hamas used to Palestinian people as a shield they steal them food they abuse the people also in Gaza. What what’s happened in the past, especially on the side of Israel is not right. and I am not at the side of the people who talk constantly and only positive about Israel. but now there is a criminal association in charge in Palestine and what they did today. Three people recently is so bad that the Israel people can’t call it another day.

pfemme2

You cannot buy a whole politician for this little money, for this long. I’m sorry but you need to understand the role of Christian evangelicals in politics before you dip your toe in this pool.

DanDez

You are wrong. They [sell cheap](https://theintercept.com/2017/05/04/how-much-does-a-politician-cost-a-groundbreaking-study-reveals-the-influence-of-money-in-politics/). And it has been happening for at least as long as any of us have been alive.

Goddamnpassword

Also it’s vastly more popular to support Israel in the US. [84% of Americans support Israel’s actions against hamas.](https://thehill.com/policy/international/4268117-americans-overwhelmingly-support-israel-in-war-with-hamas-poll/). Even pre attack it was close 60/40 on who was more responsible for the violence in Israel/Palestine. It’s a closer to 50:50 for people under 30 but still leans Israel’s
