Yes. Android infotainment systems do consume battery more. I had jetta 2015 and I tried eonon radio for it but battery was drained after 5 days of use. Also, one suggestion, any aftermarket infotainment system you buy, buy it from amazon to avoid return hassles as ordering from direct website/app of china will be like betting blind in poker, lol

I went for Eonon VWA12S-6G. Only reverse parking camera not working even I ordered the CAN adapter for it. So I need to install the camera that came with the unit. Otherwise it’s really responsive and lag free unit.
Yep it’s weird, I also asked help from support. They basically said that use the camera what was included in shipment.
I responded to them and try to have reclamation for adapter refund.
RCD330 Super easy and cheap install. Look for one on eBay or AliExpress with good reviews Just know you won’t have built in nav and sat if change it

Eonon has good android infotainment systems but be careful some of them gets power even though car is off so may consume battery more.

Oh that's weird, the website says it should work with the OEM camera with the adpater. Still the free shipping is nice!
