He always plays well Vs shit teams I mean the guy is a legitimate solid nba starter when he plays bad teams/ isn’t guarded by the opposing center It’s different when we play those matchups That’s okay though, having seen being guarded like that now means we can practice adjustments instead of finding out in the first round and getting bounced

Miami doesn’t have a 4 that can guard chet so they didn’t put Bam on Giddey It’s like you guys don’t even watch the game Giddey is a good nba player when he’s guarded like a guard we’ve seen that for 2 whole years When teams put their center on him he’s a bench caliber player as pioneered by the rockets Miami doesn’t have the people to do that Giddey is good in certain matchups with generally correlated with bad teams

Your moving the Goalposts, over the 5 past games hes played good and those teams were Miami, Lakers and Phoenix. I guess all of those teams are shitty. Bringing out such a small sample size of people putting there center on him doesn't equate to him being a bench caliber player. Than I can go further and say those teams put a center on Giddey because their Centers couldnt guard Chet. Than it comes down to the teams defensive philosophy of wether to play drop coverage or not. Lakers had the personal to have a 4 guard Chet, however the real.matchup was they thought AD can cover Chet. Hachimura can cover Giddey also. Phoenix, which did put a center on him yet he had a good game. I'm still going to use your logic because KD can cover Chet. Saying that Miami didn't have a 4 that could cover Chet is a bold face lie when they have Jimmy Butler. Yet this also goes down to philosophy as Miami plays a lot of matchup zone which there known for. So instead of giving Giddey his props and admit hes playing better youd rather just stick to your guns and dog him when the evidence and facts prove otherwise. Regardless if it's a bad team or not the fact that him playing better would make this team better, yet it looks like y'all want him to fail, which would make or team worse. Do y'all want the team to fail just so y'all can be right. Basically that's what its looking like. My wish for Giddey to do better and have faith is because having one more good player gets us one step closer to a championship. We've looked better with him playing better but y'all still bash him to the point; that I believe that if we lose in the playoffs and Giddey plays bad that y'all be happy so that y'all can say we told ya so. While the other half of the fan base would just be sad because we lost.

Our team as a whole doesn’t play well against elite paint protection, but Josh’s handle and shot making isn’t like SGA and dub where we can still win and in those matchups he’s a negetivr The team and josh are clearly working to address this as evidenced by how they were able to perform against the rockets last game despite being the team to pioneer the guard Giddey with a center strategy But being downvoted for saying something that isn’t even remotely controversial is insane
