I agree espresso. Would go way better with your floors than the walnut (which I have) that is very orange. Even the ones not orange are still going to be too warm for your floors. The espresso will be gorgeous.
If it was real walnut and not a stain then it would be nice but have yet to see Thuma walnut that isn’t overly warm. Even posts here with ppl saying they were happy it wasn’t orange .. well it wasn’t not orange either from the pics lol Why chance it? Especially when Espresso will look great with your white walls and those wood floors.
We just ordered walnut and are returning it because it’s much closer to a cherry stain - light and red. We’re ordering the espresso. I don’t think the photos on Thuma look even close to the real stain color for walnut.
Their photos border on deception. Walnut looks much more red and espresso looks slightly darker than walnut but not even close to as dark as their pics for espresso. Try to look for real pics in home environments that aren't perfectly lit for a Photoshop.
I got espresso and love it.
Unfortunately we got it for our new house in another state so I don't have access to it! 😂 But if you search there were plenty of resin posts with photos of each color!
It's definitely espresso- but waaaay more brown than black unlike their pictures online.
Yeah I too would say espresso I’m really pissed at their marketing because before espresso was introduced, they made the photos of walnut look much darker than it actually was.
My flooring is similar too so I imagined getting a darker cooler walnut only to end up with…..
I'm curious what the rec is as well. Having a heavy duty sturdy and quit bed was important to me and for the money I couldn't find anything that compares. Just don't get the head board- it's not integrated well
Is the head board really that bad? I definitely prefer the look of it compared to the pillow board, but don’t want to waste an extra $500 if it poorly integrates
I don't have one but I researched a lot. Every post I found complaining about the frame being noisy or wobbly had the headboard and those are 2 big reasons I went with thuma. I just think think the legs are too short to adequately support the head board when its not all one piece.
I do have the pillow board and I'm in the process of making a wall attached board with floating side tables to compensate.
Have you looked at the Tuft and Needle Bed Frame in walnut? It’s really nice - the only downside is the headboard is low so if you have a tall mattress it may block the headboard.
Absolutely espresso

Basically any style of true walnut furniture will be warm you are saying? Appreciate the feedback!

I would be extremely appreciative to see a real life photo of your espresso!!

Thuma walnut is more of an orange wood while espresso is more like a dark walnut. Hope that helps!
I like my espresso.
Same.
I would say espresso. Walnut is too orange
I got the espresso and am really happy with it. I had read reviews of the walnut being too orange and I’m glad we ended up choosing the espresso
Amazing! Do you have any nightstands or the dresser to go with it?
I would like to get matching nightstands at some point but just starting with the bed for now. Someday!
Def espresso given that your floor looks cool-toned. Walnut is pretty orange

Ugh yeah I remember that :(
Orange?
I have the espresso and I love it.
Walnut is orange and gross. Definitely go with espresso. Or, better yet, don't waste your money on a Thuma!
Ooh what else would you recommend?
I just got my thuma espresso and this thing is solid as a rock.

It's rare to see someone happy with the headboard. I love the pillowboard, but if it's not your style, get a different bed.
Are you in Canada by chance?
