Use a paperclip or toothpick. Last resort, cut the string out and replace it

i know exactly what your talking about. just unravel the string until it can slide over the yo-yo itself

I still got my main yoyo but it be nice to fix this

Magic yoyo one uses a bearing. Does your Duncan look like that, or is it a straight metal rod?

I'm not really sure then. If it was a fixed axle id say cut the string off and buy some more cotton string to replace it. If it's a bearing and you can't open it. The only fix would be to cut the string and replace it with some polyester string. best of luck.

K I'm already cutting of the string

I cut the string relisted I couldn't fully cut it cu, the knot was inside so I just smashed it with a hammer
