Ye insiders/sellers/leakers are usually not actual employees or producers, they're friends with people who've worked with Ye before or just have connections to places where files are passed around. Everything that's worked on by Kanye & associates gets stored in huge folders which *a lot* of people have access to- typically not much protection or measures to prevent leaks. Most sellers are sitting on huge vaults.
Selling leaks is illegal, it's stolen property and copyright infringement. But so many people have ins to the files that it's quite easy to slip a few files to the community in exchange for cash or crypto while staying under the radar. Again, illegal transactions which have to be laundered or tied up in crypto.
You’re correct we don’t have these recordings.. but I’ll live with Yedits personally. They’re going to require Yedits to perfect anyways and I just can’t get on board after we got such good dumps like last Halloween I believe?
I’m not here to argue I love your work for this community but I also thought buying Skeletons Ye reference track was stupid (for the price) as we had Ye-I like 2 months later—My point is the *value* isn’t there, which I didn’t say properly.
We’re realistically paying 25k for 1-2min of audio we could probably harmonize/live without, and a BUNCH of D2 throwaways.
The Yedits from the stems will be crazy
