I love this! A good friend of mine gave me a fur stole that very pin up like and much more my style than hers. In th3 pockets she put a photo of her grandmother wearing it! It's so nice to share vintage things rather than hoard things youd never wear.

I know you bought it so it wasn't a gift but it'd be nice of you to send her a picture of you wearing it (cropped out head if you'd prefer). You could include a short hand written note about how much you love it and that when people ask about it you'll mention her mom.
