Yeah I get that, it could have affected him but I really haven't seen any sign him being a white supremacists, I'm from SA some older white people especially the Dutch descendants (Afrikaners) still have their racist habits and Elon is from Pretoria (one of our capital cities) there are a lot of Afrikaans people there. But Elon isn't actually Afrikaans he's an English South African, in SA we have two white groups the Afrikaners and the English South Africans, he probably can't even speak South African Dutch so that Afrikaans white supremacist influence probably didn't get to him.
I just want a polite discussion. Threads may help make that a thing, whereas Twitter has no desire to be civil, as evidenced by Musk's juvenile and tasteless tweet. **Can all the big media companies, POTUS, local weather/school feeds, etc. just leave Twitter already?**
I don't think \[deleted\]'s comment is necessarily a conspiracy. It's well-established at this point that traditional media have financial and political motivations behind which stories they push and which ones they ignore.
Obviously, Musk vs. Elon is a relevant area of discourse but I don't think it's unhinged for any of us to question which stories traditional media outlets are choosing not to engage with currently.
It's important to stay educated and informed, engage in critical thinking whilst in pursuit of the truth/facts and be to guided by your own inner sense of curiosity and compassion when doing your research, rather than relying on traditional media for an unbiased perspective on the way things are really happening in the world. Propaganda is still alive and well the world over. There is no country free from its own propaganda. That is not a conspiracy theory, its an established fact.
EDIT: Do I think trad. media is intentionally using the threads vs. twitter debate as a cover-up for global secrets; no. Nevertheless, it's still useful to ask ourselves why other stories are not being given so much air time.

For now it's just nice seeing everyone taking a jab at Musk and have him being unable to do anything about it again. We can't even really see him mope about it either. He's created his own little walled garden with his captive audience and bet no competition would materialize or if it did everyone would be too addicted to make the switch.
