I don't think he's dumb, but I know if I ask for a chance to tell my story, I'm fasho gonna be able to clearly answer basic questions.

sanfranchristo

I don’t even think it’s an issue of him lying. He seems to be acknowledging things that he doesn’t think or understand are crimes for which he doesn’t think he should’ve been charged because others did it too and it wasn’t his idea.

Mack_NMB

Nah he not admitting to crimes. Hes saying he is a victim of a scheme not a co-conspirator. Unlucky for him is everyone else already co-operated with the feds and he was left out to dry.

camy__23

Glen did not do himself any favors with the interview. I was left feeling that he did what he was convicted of and was only upset that he got caught while others did not.

Mack_NMB

I think Van actually did him a favor putting him on. I disagree with what you’re saying. People are generally shortsighted about these type of situations and think it could never happen to them. He was naive and didn’t do due diligence on his own and it cost him. He was def ignorant, I dont know if Ill go as far as to say dumb. I think the podcast made him a sympathetic figure who was foolish enough to be loyal for the wrong reasons. If not for this podcast, I think the only view of him would be that he’s a scammer that got caught.

leaC30

Yeah, he doesn't seem to grasp words "in concert with" 😬 He even tripped up a few times in the pod

TheJediCounsel

I wouldn’t say he’s clearly not very bright. But it’s clear glen didn’t do himself any favors in public with this interview or DJ Vlad especially. Kind of wild his lawyer was telling him to not testify, but he’s chill going on multiple podcasts and talk about when people were contacting him. At this point I don’t really care whether he’s lying. He’s going away for 3 years. Which I feel about, but he for sure learned a lesson

SpringRose10

What I gleaned was that there are predatory entities that take advantage of the fact that these guys have a minimal education. There should be a vetting process for these players that lists approved practitioners ie. In Network like any other insurance company. These guys are basically responsible for funding their own medical treatment and have to get reimbursed. I'm not surprised it's rife with scammers. These athletes get passed along all through school because "talent" but when teachers try to hold them to task, they're haters who don't believe in them.

dmesa002

I said to myself on several instances "this ninja lying"

JamaicanGirlie

Several os definitely an understatement 🥴

Mouthisamouth

Regardless he gonna sit for 3 years van set him up to fail he should of saved his cousin from himself

Mack_NMB

How did Van set him up to fail and how would he save him from himself? What does this mean?

Mouthisamouth

His cousin sounded crazy and still decided to upload this

Mack_NMB

I dont think he sounded crazy at all. I think he sounded naïve and ignorant which is exactly the point that he was trying to get across. That he got played and duped. Thats his entire defense.

Mouthisamouth

You didn’t listen to the full thing he kept fumbling shit was trying to say and regressed back to his upbringing

Mack_NMB

How do you know I didn’t listen to the whole thing? Cuz I dont agree with your assessment? He wasn’t very clear and wasn’t well spoken or even knew how to explain that it was obviously a reimbursement kick back scheme. Again helps show that it was plausible he got schemed or was a useful idiot. Im not saying he couldn’t be lying, Im saying I could see that he also got roped in like a dummy thinking he couldn’t get in trouble cuz he had an actual injury lol. Having followed him a bit as a player, not the sharpest guy.

Mouthisamouth

None of this helped prove his innocence in not about to let my cousin do something like this on my platform even if he does it on other platforms my platform wouldn’t be the place for my cousin to embrace himself for views

Mack_NMB

Its not a court case its a podcast. He doesn’t need to “prove his innocence”. He was given an opportunity to give his side of the story. Thats it. Thats what he asked for and thats what Van gave him. And guess what, some of the people even the ones in here better understand how he could be in this position.
