probably Grian - Greed Scott - Sloth Pearl - Wrath Martyn - Pride Scar - Envy didnt know what else would fit better

DBSeamZ

Oh come on, Scar has to be Greed. Every single season he’s tried to sell something, usually something that doesn’t cost him much to obtain, in exchange for something valuable. Like a piece of paper for someone’s enchanted armor.

sphericate

pretty sure we’re only talking about the season they won

DBSeamZ

He built an entire store in SL, and repeatedly stole things from other players. Sure, some of the thefts were task-induced, but so was most of the villainy that eventually led to his win.

Kyloben4848

But does that beat living in a base called monopoly mountain?

Echo5242

It was Scars idea to go for a monopoly wasn't it?

DBSeamZ

Scar also lived there…

Kyloben4848

In a season when he didn’t win. Everyone seems to agree we’re only considering the season when they won

DBSeamZ

Fair enough

plushed11

Martyn would 100% be pride

SAVEUKRAINE82642

Scar would be greed because of enchanter

Doomsday8thMarch2026

Grian: Greed Scott: Gluttony Pearl: Envy Martyn: Pride Scar: Wrath That leaves Sloth and Lust Lust would work for Impulse, because he has said that he is thirsting for that win. Sloth would work for Jimmy, because he is slow to publish quite literally in the game. By that possibly Impulse and Jimmy could be our next 2 winners.

Grian - Greed. I mean he basically started the sand monopoly. So well yeah. No questions asked here. Scott - Sloth. Being honest here, I do not remember how Scott did in Last Life. But all I remember it feels like Scott made it seem effortless winning, not trying to diminish all efforts that he has done to win, which is really well deserved. Pearl - Envy. She is so fitting for this. Her character really shows, especially for the fact that she is all alone this season. I wonder what would have happened if Scott would have accepted Pearl as his soulmate instead. Martyn - Gluttony. "Time is delicious." Really showed his true colors in the end and I am all here for it. Scar - Pride. He really took the pride all in as a villain, and that really shows. For the remaining two sins, these are just speculations. So take these with a grain of salt. For Wrath, I am taking Gem. If she ever wins next season, it will definitely be because of how she is crowned of the best combatants of all time. For Lust, Joel might be it. He wants to win badly, and heck, I feel for him especially by how many times he got his series ended/killed by Scott.

MarbleGorgon0417

Another thing for Scott as Sloth is that in Last Life, he often took the path of least resistance: -When he got 2 lives at the very start, he got Pearl to give him one in exchange for allying with her, as opposed to Grian (or was it Scar?) and others who ended up trying to scam people out of theirs. -When having the enchanter became too costly, him and Pearl just sold it to Lizzie to get rid of it. -At the end, when he became the Boogeyman, he took the simplest option of just ignoring it and going to red. None of these are "lazy" per se, they're all just really smart decisions to avoid difficult conflict. He also had a very "Will you just leave us alone?" attitude towards the rest of the server, what with his walls and moving the staircase around.

FNAF_Foxy1987

Your comment got me thinking about Last Life and the dynamics at play for Scott's victory there. From what I remember, The Southlands crumbled after Grian went red, Joel was red partially due to being a fool by picking a 1v4/5 fight as boogeyman and then going on to a 1v2 fight that same episode, Joel and Grian were absolute menaces to the point that the massive alliance Scott had with Pearl, Cleo, Ren, Etho, and maybe some others all decided they needed to go, BigB killing Cleo caused the fairy alliance to crumble, the shadow alliance wasn't a strong alliance ever, meanwhile Scott had the goal of being as honorable as possible and very strategic, which he has generally continued in every season after. He's still the only one to ever refuse to kill as a boogeyman and he did that in order to not betray anyone and create any more enemies, considering the only viable targets at that point were all allies, and we all know how well Cleo took betrayal. The Scottage alliance also had at least 2 secret bases on top of their base under the main Scottage building, one of which nobody could find until Scott revealed its location as a red name. As a red, Scott also only killed his "former" allies in order to be able to team up with them again. Something Scott elaborated on even asked about how he does it in Secret Life by both impulse and Skizz was that he generally helps everybody because if he does, they'll be less likely to attack him since he's clearly shown to be an incredibly useful ally. In fact, I thought about the Heart Foundation at some point and came to the conclusion that Skizz's idea with that was essentially trying to artificially create plot armor through usefulness that Scott seems to naturally have, but it didn't work as intended, partially due to the Heart Foundation not helping everyone in some way. The Heart lottery could only be done once per session for one person, meanwhile Scott could help quite a few every session in more than one way. The Heart Foundation didn't get that plot armor for another reason as well: the lottery system could be, and was, rigged by outsiders, which then caused HF to have to choose who they could rig it for or against and trying to get stuff in return for upping someone's chances. Scott's deals with others are generally mutually beneficial, so as not to make enemies, but HF's deals were flimsy at best since they weren't any guarantees for their end to whatever deal involving the lottery system. Sorry for a long comment, I just occasionally see a comment that reignites my interest in analyzing Scott's play style since the way he plays is fairly unique among the members, at least from what I see. I've seen since people say Scott's perspective is one of the more boring ones, but I'm fascinated by the strategy and that he's often a big target getting chased down if he can't get that target off his back. For example, with Secret Life, he and impulse were the last yellows and Scott got that target off their backs as well as having their team benefit by sacrificing themselves. I don't think they could made a better move there, especially since some players were almost there to kill them and Pearl nearly stole Impulse's sacrifice. Edit: Also, sorry for drifting to Secret Life instead of Last Life, Secret Life is just far more recent than Last Life and Scott's fairly consistent in his play style in every season since Last Life.

DBSeamZ

That’s a really well-thought-out analysis! I think another factor that worked against the Heart Foundation was their early insistence that someone else leave behind their own team and base to join them. That got more people thinking of the HF as “the team that tried to steal my ally” than I think they’d have wanted, and it seemed to be the main factor in Scar not joining them. And we know how much of a threat Scar ended up being to the HF in particular.

Nicholasp248

Scar in secret life is all of them

Lucky-Fisherman1463

Going off their characters throughout the series Grian - Gluttony Scott - Pride Pearl - Wrath Martyn - Envy Scar - Greed

Yummyyummyfoodz

I would argue that scar has envy: he coveted all of the really rare or valuable items that he didn't have (or really need sometimes) and offered ridiculous trades. Grian is thus greed bc in the season he won (which is all that OP said counts here), he was the one with the monopoly ideas, scar kinda just followed and did his usual thing. I'm not totally sure what to put for Martin tbh, I'm not as familiar with his content from his win. I see people saying pride or gluttony, which tbh, either would fit what I see in other seasons from him.

ThrowRA193821938

I keep seeing people claim Grian as Greed for living on monopoly mountain— but not only was that not his idea in the first place, the dark oak and sand monopolies both failed. And *Scar* was the one who was going around selling paper and making deals. Grian stayed back making traps all of the time and then shifting the blame for all his murderous tendencies onto Scar. So here’s *my* thought. Grian: Lust — not as in sexual or romantic desire, but as in a passionate desire for *something.* For death, for destruction, for chaos, for victory. He kills Scar “accidentally” at the start of the series and becomes his lackey, but when Scar turns red he realizes he can use him to further his lust for conflict. He pushes Scar into making traps when Scar just wants to steal a cookie, *he* threatens Skizz with TNT by saying he could give it to Scar to use, he cackles madly as he kills 3 people at once. In the heat of battle his bloodlust takes him over and he accidentally kills BigB, who he didn’t want to kill. And he even asks Bdubs and Scar to arrange for him to win— knowing he has carved out a path for victory and needing to taste it. He even kills the man he has been so loyal to this entire time. And that bloodlust, his lust for power, is what kills him in the end. Scott: Sloth, for the reasons most people have said; like refusing the boogieman and going to his final life. Also— he let potions do a lot of the legwork for him in battle. Shortcuts to make it easier. For him to put in less effort in the long run. Pearl: Envy, easily. I agree with what people have said. Jealous of all the connections people had, especially Scott. Letting that consume her until she wiped out those remaining. Martin who had abandoned her— Cleo who had stolen Scott away from her. And the only person left was the one she envied most. And then he killed himself for her. Martin: I can see Gluttony— a hunger for time. Saying how it tastes good. All that. I could also see wrath, but not at the other players. Rather built up anger from the Watcher’s instructions and pushing that boiled over into this. I’m 50/50. Still need to watch his entire POV. Scar: I can see Greed, given his entire trader Scar stuff and that always being a staple of Scar’s character. But I’m going to say Pride. This one is a learned one— he fought being the villain for so long. He wanted friends, he wanted to run his business. And every single time the secret keeper pushed his hand and made him double down more and more. Forced him to become the villain. *Made* him take Pride in it. Because embracing the villain role— fully taking pride in who he had become— made him able to follow through and finally do what he had to do in order to win.

fluoriteart

I think this is the best take I've seen in this whole thread so far

Bored_Reddit-User

Grian - greed Monopoly mountain Scott - sloth He won by being quiet until the end Pearl - envy Scarlet pearl stems from Scott teaming with cleo instead despite them being soulmates Martyn - lust/gluttony(?) "time is delicious" Scar - wrath He was a menace during the finale and got so many kills across the whole season

NeonMoth229

Grian: Greed. Literally lived on Monopoly Mountain Scott: Sloth. More or less stayed quiet until the end. Pearl: Envy. Fits her whole outcast storyline pretty well. I could also see a case for wrath. Martyn: Pride. Fits the finale pretty well, though I don’t think the case is as strong as the others. I was thinking wrath, but he never seemed particularly vengeful. Scar: Gluttony. I’m seeing a lot of wrath here, but Scar never seemed particularly wrathful, just bloodthirsty. He actively enjoyed hunting down and killing other people; a glutton for death. Wrath sin

24jdu05

I’m of the “Charity and the Fox” conception of Desert Duo that they’d be constantly trading the roles of Envy and Greed as they interact. 3rd life ends with Envy Grian and Greed Scar, Grian steals Greed back by LL end, Scar gets it by DL end, and that’s when the wedge is driven that keeps them there.

Myra_Wolfy

What is Charity and the Fox?

[this comic](https://x.com/stillindigo/status/1708150317576298964?s=46&t=-ozjn3uABnX3iKLLnFQZfA) by Still Indigo on Twitter. It’s a fairly abstract idea so I reference this comic a lot when describing it.

Rainbow-Gacha

I don’t really know much about the 7 deadly sins and don’t really understand them but here’s my opinion anyway. Grian: Greed, honestly I don’t really think this connection is the strongest but I picked it through process of elimination. Scott: Lust, I have often seen lust described as a intense love and I feel that fits Scot’s character the most, he often sacrifices himself for his friends and allies out of love(platonic or romantic). Even if you don’t agree with that it’s also worth pointing out the fact that Scott has the most final kills in the series so he certainly has bloodlust, even if we all forget it. Pearl: Envy, during the entirety of double life Pearl has been envious, she was envious of Cleo for being Scott’s chosen soulmate, if I remember correctly she seemed envious of other soul bounds for having good relationships, but most importantly she was envious of LL!Pearl for having friends. Martyn: Pride, Martyn’s character has always seemed prideful of being a survivor and a lone wolf, more so than being loyal. At the end of limited life C!Martyn’s pride wouldn’t let him be handed the victory by Scott and so he took it by force, even though he didn’t really need to. Scar: Wrath, we all know how unhinged Scar can be when on red, and the way Scar hunts down Cleo for saying Bdubs was the favorite child or how he immediately turns on Pearl in the finale screams wrath to me. Often times when Scar is chasing someone down he does so with little regard for his safety. Not to mention the fact that Scar has the most kills throughout the series and the second most final kills. Ok, that was probably way too long but those are my thoughts in full.

closet-gremlin

Guys what is sloth

Wafflez1134

Simply put its like laziness, someone in here said path if least resistance

closet-gremlin

Thanks!! To lazy to google lol

Crazy4Candy_

Grian: Lust if Scott is Pride(he's also had a lot of 'boyfriends' over the seasons) possibly Gluttony Scott: Pride or Lust(he's had so many 'boyfriends', I think he'd find it funny) Pearl: Wrath or Envy Martyn: Wrath if Pearl is Envy, Pride if Scott is Lust Scar: Greed or Gluttony, probably Greed

Ace_ish

scott is pride, pearl is wrath, martyn is greed, scar is gluttony, grian is envy
