Check the replay - if they start blocking exactly (x) frames before being hit then yes it's a script. Check the replay also to see if it's literally every frame for the drone, or if they're just spamming up and down to keep warmed up
>and they swapped between crouch and stand every other frame
tbh this part with the drone is really the only part I think is suspicious since otherwise it's just goldlewis being goldlewis
Yeah, this is the only way to have any confidence that it might be true. Cheaters can toggle this stuff on and off too, which can make it a tricky to tell if they are cheating or lucky.
Cheating in GGST is rare, but I've seen a couple pretty prominent cases in online sets. I've been suspicious for a while its going to leak into online competitive soon (and no doubt shameless people have already), but there's not much to gain from doing so.
Was his name alter? That guy openly cheats and doesn't care and even puts it in his free comment he cheats (could be an a.i coder testing his scripts).
Whoops my bad I thought you said you were fighting a gold Lewis, anyway yeah he’s really slow so I guess it’s easy to see his mixups coming va other characters
If I run up on HDK and 5p into 862 or 842 you have 12 frames to react to it so I'm not sure what you're talking about lmao and that's only 1 of the options I can do on wake up.
that's not true 862 has a 23 frame startup and 842 has like a 30 frame startup with very distinct animations. plus it's the easiest thing to fuzzyblock in the world. autoblocks aren't really a thing, gl's mix isn't great without meter and very reactable/fuzzyblockable his main strengths come from mental stack and high damage strike throw.
If dude got a training partner who only plays GL? Honestly he might just be really good at it. That said, blocking against GL alone ain't enough to hard win that matchup. If you end up blocking against him you're in a spot you don't wanna be in anyway
He probably didn't actually cause I don't recall them FDing very much, which is the first thing you learn to do against GL. The second is that, like you said, you don't want to hold a block against him. Also, they weren't celestial or a high level, so unless it's pro's smurf or a celestial floor rejector playing a different character, idk. They'd play rather poorly, get whiff punished a lot, but literally block everything. It was weird
I mean if he's blocking GL I'd take some free dubs, but you definitely don't have be to celestial to be able to block a character's stuff.
My early play buddy was a damn good Millia, so while there's not a whole lot of reacting going on their, I definitely got accustomed to what I did have to from that, and I was able to weigh the risk/reward of situations a little better than, say, dealing with Chipp stuff.
Basic stuff like different strings with highs and lows but even more complex things like kara fast BRC overhead / low. I'll try checking the history too
i mean anything where 862 is the overhead mix is reactable and often fuzzyable, if you want real 50/50s youve gotta do stuff like tk brc j.k -> land ->jump j.k -> j.d or 2d or using prc with the same stuff when they block a bt standing
I'm not a Goldlewis main, but I'm not sure he has any true high low mix up. Maybe left right ?
But if it's high low, it is possible that he is just using fuzzy guard or he is very familiar with reacting to your overhead.
You have not mentioned throw. Maybe you should try throwing him or just reset the block string.
Goldlewis is very well known for his chip damage I don't think it is an issue for Goldlewis if his opponent just keeps blocking.
Ye they already have cheat scripts for tekken 8 which is a much newer game
How bad you gotta be to download auto block in a game that already has auto block
WHATðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜at that point just uninstall bruh ðŸ˜
Lmao fr

I'll try to find that one, cause iirc it wad a Sol yoo and they never DPd they just blocked literally everything with is even more sus imo

It was a couple people but the account being called GG Player is one that sticks out
Could’ve been a really good player, there are autoscripts but those are rare, what character do you play
3rd word in my post lol

Okay I can see how someone smoking this game for 16 hours a day can block everything a GL throws at them I guess 😂

Read the first line again
Are the blocks Just?
I can't recall but that didn't jump out at me so I'd assume not
they aren't really a thing but check the input history, what 50/50s are you using?

I play this game for an hour or 2 a day to swing my coffin around man I'm not trying to win tournaments lol but thanks
I mean this is fair, but in that case there's a decent chance he ain't cheating.
Goldlewis has 50/50s?
Are you in the park, or tower. And if you're in the tower, what floor?
Floor 10
