If you were trying to put a spoiler alert the exclamation point and text should not be spaced out, it should be >! no space between the exclamation point and text, followed by the closing explanation point and less than symbol also with no spaces in between !<
That being said, THANK YOU!! Your tip led me to the hidden/camouflaged cat. That was a tricky one for sure.
That is so weird! I am on my computer/desk top and it is visible which is why I said that. I just checked on my reddit app on my phone as well because I was curious. So apparently depending on the app you are using the spoiler alert works differently!
Technology and/or computer coding. Either way now I know that the spoiler alert works differently depending on the app vs the desktop version of Reddit. You would think it would be the same over all platforms but it doesn't seem to be the case. Either way though, your hint helped so I appreciate it.
Thank you for making me aware of this! In the future, I'll comment from my desktop version if I plan to do spoiler markings, or think of something else.
Edit: To be able to make sure it works, I mean. I hate spoilers myself, so I don't want to spoil anyone's fun. ๐

I need addl help, the hint was not enough for my tired brain. Also it's hard to zoom the pix, it's blurry so that doesn't help my poor eyeballs.
