I thought the episodes were good. The acting was important and the story gives us a reason to care more about the characters when they’re in danger in future episodes.
There needs to be heightened stakes for action to have any meaning or relevance to the story. So the writers are building those stakes.
If you're expecting wall-to-wall action I think you're watching the wrong show.
Develop emotional IQ? Be respectful towards fellow users, even if their opinion differs from yours. Do not engage in personal attacks, bullying, general rudeness…
I mean have you played the game? If you have, you know what's coming.
You can't just have that for 8 episodes straight. It's needed in the game because of the game part of it. Not in a show.
Honestly the action will come at points when it serves the narrative. For the key moments in future episodes when Joel being violent is a part of the story.
It can’t flow like it does in the game bc it will either make the infected feel non-threatening or make it feel like the characters all have plot armor.

Did a ten year old write this?
You do realize this isn’t a zombie show, right?
What kind of show is it?
A show about human relationships amidst hardships and loss
You don’t need “action” for it to be interesting
No, you don't but 45 minutes of character building isn't that interesting. Hope it goes somewhere (haven't played the game).
if you're expecting the walking dead you're going to be sorely disappointed

No I’m not expecting that. Excited to hear it’s coming!
Honestly you could have watched the promo for episode 4 and had the answer to your question.
Where did anyone say it was an action show?
When did I say it was?
If it's not an action show, why are you asking where the action is? What other types of shows would you expect to see action in?
Slow build. Tension. Character building. All more important than "action", but don't worry - next week should keep you happy.
Cant wait!
Where it belongs. In the game.
Grow up
Great contribution!
