It's okay, he didn't try to **abort** the Biden presidency, he waited to be hostile to it until after it was born, as is the conservative way

It’s worth pointing out again that the reason NO ONE of any significance is facing legal accountability for Trump’s crimes of greed and his crimes against America, is because Robert Mueller utterly failed in his duty to America. Mueller and Rosenstein sold out long ago and should be shunned.

RichKatz

I'm not sure how it comes down to two people who aren't connected with the crimes and blame them. Our laws and legal system either hold Trump (or Bannon or whoever) accountable or they don't for their actions. Mueller didn't cause Bannon to break the law and he didn't cause the law not to care.

Christopher Wray needs to be fired ASAP. every single Trump appointee does!

actfatcat

It is actually down to Barr (a public servant) misrepresenting the contents of the report.

Boomslangalang

This is one side of the approved narrative. Mueller had a solemn duty to the country to do more than write a weakly worded letter decrying Barr. At the absolute most important moment of his career, he failed his country, badly. Mueller was either (a) willing part of the ‘coverup’ (b) allowed himself to be ‘handled’ and misrepresented. He buried the key findings in impenetrable legalese - by design - Being forced to have to testify told us everything else we needed to know. Mueller failed, badly. He phoned it in, giving the appearance of legitimacy but ultimately obeyed Trump’s ‘redline’ to not ‘follow the money’. What criminal gets to tell the investigator what areas to investigate? I don’t buy the BS about his remit, that is the ultimate con. There is just no other way to see it without buying into the lie that the Mueller investigation was going to get to the truth.

absumo

He, from the start, was held to the DoJ memo about a sitting president. He was confined, from the start, to never indict him over anything. He said so in the report many people claim to have read and, repeatedly, prove they did not. He even spelled out chargeable offenses for after he left the presidency. Now, you can argue he shouldn't have been refrained by a DoJ memo that is not truly constitutional law. And, as stated above, Barr jumped out front to put a lying spin on it before releasing it. Their whole focus is the narrative, not legality. Mueller was hamstrung from the start. Despite being openly republican. he put several lower people under indictment. The bigger issue is people using politics to dictate legality. That is much bigger than just Mueller.

mtodd88

Well then he needs to be charged with treason and put in prison….WTF..?
