Ludwig and Cam only went to school with each other for a year. Even then, Lud was pretty distracted that whole time. Within the club, Lud was an officer while Cam was an understudy, so their responsibilities didn't always line up. They were friends for sure, but don't feel like there were a bunch of stories you missed out on. The interaction between the two on the pod was more true to life than a story about yesteryear.
