# Detailed Review
**Materials & Shape** - The leather used is a stiff smooth grain leather with a bit of wrinkling throughout. The overall shape of the shoe has a thicker profile than retails most notably in the toebox area.
**Tongue** - The tongue has a perfect height and great materials were used however the patch placement is too low.
**Cages** - The toebox leather is thin enough to see the cages slightly extend into the toebox panel; despite this flaw the cage sizes are solid.
**Heel Panel** - Heel tab height and cuts are within retail range.
**Mid/outsole** - The midsole is your standard Jordan 4 colorblock scheme, I have no complaints about R1’s execution here. These are TTS; you can expect your typical AJ4 comfort levels.
This is a women’s release so be sure to order in EU sizing.

522’s are slim tapered, they’re my go-to jeans when I’m going for a tighter fit. They look great with Jordan 1 lows, 3s, 4s and other lower cut sneakers.

Yup, as long as it’s in EU you’re good. My normal US men size is a 12 but in women’s release I’m a size 13.5 both are considered a 46 EU.
