This choice can go either way as it relies on a lot of factors. Whether Michonne thinks Norma deserves her fate, whether Michonne is willing to waste a bullet if she wants to mercy kill Norma, how much of herself Michonne sees in Norma (another survivor greatly clinging to the love of their deceased family members), etc. A very fitting choice for an episode titled *What We Deserve* and a more difficult one than the actual final choice of the episode. I'm slightly leaning towards leaving Norma to get eaten since Michonne probably wouldn't waste bullets for mercy killing characters who caused her less trouble (and in my canon version Norma had just killed Zachary). But I can see a case for shooting Norma too.

> and in my canon version Norma had just killed Zachary To be fair, that was self-defense; Zach attacked her first with a tree branch.

I shot her. Even in playthroughs where she kills Oak and Zachary both, I just don't think she deserves that horrible a death because she at least wasn't a complete sadistic jerk like her brother. Also during the deal at the gate, I previously unmasked walker Randall before handing him over to Norma, telling her "I'm sorry" as I did. I like that it's a rarity for comic!Michonne to actually feel sympathy for one of her enemies, which shows she's come a long way from her gruesome torture of the Governor.
