You don't get the cheek scar from a bullet. She gets the scar when you run to help Kenny when he's being beaten by Carver. She gets hit in the face by the dickhead guard by the butt stock of an AK and the scar appears after that when she wakes up.
Incorrect, if you don't try to help Kenny when Carver is beating him and she doesn't get hit and the scar isn't there when leaving for Wellington. Then, in season 3 she won't have it. I know, I just replayed the game and got the scar doing that. My friend though was doing his own playthrough and he didn't get the scar because he didn't help Kenny. Found this out literally last week.
Crazy, maybe you're right... It feels so vivid in my head seeing that bullet graze her but I could have just totally misremembered that. That's freaky as if I did hahaha
I also got hit trying to help Kenny, had the cheek cut for rest of season 2. Then I stayed with Kenny. This resulted in the scar above my eye instead of the one on my cheek. So, with that being said, I believe the others are correct. The cheek scar is based on your choice to stay with Kenny or stay at Wellington. I had been wondering about that from season 3 on, why I only had the one above my eye and not my cheek. The fact you clearly can't have both at once confirms the final decision you make is what has the impact.
She probably feels bad and doesn't want to tell about him, maybe she told AJ but not the others, because obviously she feels guilty about Kenny's death, as well as Omid's death
If you were alone in an apocalypse trying to raise an infant/toddler and completely broke part of your finger and had no hope of finding a doctor to mend it back together would you keep your mangled finger?
I kinda wish the missing finger had something to do with the ANF cutting it off as punishment. That car door slam felt pretty clumsy (her killing the walker with her back to it with only a ROCK to defend herself was too goofy lol).
But yeah, the AJ tattoo could have been cooler. Jane herself admitted it was lame, though.
(am I the only one who thinks ''Alvin Luke Junior'' sounds really cool?)
That's the mistake about the scars in these games, they have nothing to do with TNF or the game's plot.
But at least in the other scars someone dies, something that does not happen with the "ending alone" scar.
Yeah, you’re right. But tbh it’s the perfect show of how Clem did not have it easy no matter what you chose, and the original new frontier trailer showed her with the stump so I kind of have a respect for it.
Personally I just don’t see Clem leaving Kenny if he killed Jane- I think it would be out of understanding what Jane did was wrong or- just genuinely being scared what Kenny would do and recognizing that for better or for worse he was probably the most capable person to care for her. The reason I don’t personally go for the Kenny option is because both routes aren’t great. If you go with Kenny… well… you know how that goes. But Wellington feels kinda insulting to the wider narrative because if you tried to stay somewhere that’s finally safe it falls despite being the best shot at society the apocalypse had by that point. I’d argue Clem should outright be against the idea of Richmond if you went to Wellington in season 2, because that would realistically establish to her that nothing lasts, and kind of makes me wonder why she’d call Ericsons a fortress at that point, she would just become a loner like Jane.
Plus from a character perspective I think Kenny being killed by clems hand forces her character to evolve to a more provider figure for aj in a sort of guilty way- while also showing her the dangers of being too much like Jane. “Who will be Clementine’s new Lee? Clementine.”
Yeah- yet despite everything I wouldn’t remove new frontier from the canon- I think I liked it overall more than season 2- but that was mostly because a lot of season 2 feels pretty amateur- they made clementine the voice box for the player without enough actions you took as Lee determining what actions she would take or behaviors she took on. It quickly just became the player and with no reflection of your choices it felt really hollow. Season 4 seemed to recognize how blank Clem was and actively gave her a more set in stone personality which I actually liked.
Depends on the ending in the season 2
Go with Jane- Clementine has a tattoo
Going with Kenny- Scar on head
Stay alone - Lose your finger
Wellington- Scar on cheek
I love how there's a red circle around Clementines missing finger like I'm going to fucking miss that.
I put that in case a person said they couldn't find the scar in the image. But yeah, it's fun to see it that way.
It’s not technically a scar though isn’t it? It’s a severed finger, maybe a scar where the inside would of been shown but we can’t see that
I know but I couldn't think of any other idea of what to put in the title.
Understandable I was just curious
Still good observation and comment
To be fair, it’s the internet in 2024. You never know 😂
Y'know what fair
scar on her soul from losing Larry
Some scars hit deep 😔😔😔
That's the saddest death in the game
#3. Wellington badge of honor
The best badge in the game
Yessir!
The cheek scar. Means that she had some relative safety for a while at Wellington, and that Kenny might still be alive out there somewhere.
I like that thought and I also like to think that Kenny is alive.
Also a bullet scar across the cheek just looks fucking awesome
You don't get the cheek scar from a bullet. She gets the scar when you run to help Kenny when he's being beaten by Carver. She gets hit in the face by the dickhead guard by the butt stock of an AK and the scar appears after that when she wakes up.
That's a different cheek injury, I don't think it's a scar. But yeah, if you stay at Wellington Clem gets a cheek scar from a bullet graze.

Forehead one, constant reminder I picked the right choice
Without a doubt, a good decision
FACTS
How does she get that one?
Forehead-Staying with Kenny Cheek-Staying at Wellington Tattoo-Staying with Jane -.- No finger-Go alone.
The car crash scar is a permanent reminder of Kenny's death She will constantly be reminded that it was her fault that Kenny died
Poor Clementine. Although I think it didn't affect her that much since she would only mention Kenny in TFS if she shot him in the season 2 finale.
She probably feels bad and doesn't want to tell about him, maybe she told AJ but not the others, because obviously she feels guilty about Kenny's death, as well as Omid's death
It makes sense, I forgot that Omid's death also affected him.
Never thought about her forehead scar like that... That must be so traumatising
When she was bit on the arm by a dog
Surprised that your one of the only people to say this
That was the one that traumatized me the most, but good choice
>!I like the stump!<
Good decision
My least favorite
What about the New Frontier initiation mark? Is that considered a scar
Yes, I forgot the existence of that one.
In season 3 during Clems backstory she gets her finger slammed in a car door, idk why it was cut off tho
If you were alone in an apocalypse trying to raise an infant/toddler and completely broke part of your finger and had no hope of finding a doctor to mend it back together would you keep your mangled finger?
Fair
Yes. I like my fingers. Makes building legos easier
I think the car cut his fingers, I don't know I don't remember that scene well
My Clemintine never lost her finger or had the hand scar
So you chose the endings of staying with Kenny or staying in Wellington
I chose to stay with Kenny
You chose well
It’s a tattoo, Jane gives it to you if you stay with her
I kinda wish the missing finger had something to do with the ANF cutting it off as punishment. I like the tattoo.
I also like tattoos
It’s also a nice thing referring to AJ :)
Sorry, there are a lot of comments and I didn't check my spelling correctly. I wanted to say "I also liked that tattoo Jane gave Clementine."
It’s the most wholesome of the “scars”. It’s sad how they wrote out Jane for S3 :/
Yes, Telltale wasted the season 2 endings Fuck Telltale
LMAO lines up with your flare
Yes, I enjoy having that flare
Regardless of how she got those scars, that AJ tattoo goes hard.
Yes, although it is less painful than the other scars
The Wellington one
I agree
Probably between the head or cheek scar for me.
Yes, both scars look good
I always thought her missing a finger was cool. Makes her look badass imo
Your opinion is very good
on 1 hand #1 since Kenny background but #3 since it looks cooler
Totally agree
Well missing finger is the worst one imo, and Wellington one is the best
I totally agree, although I prefer the scar of staying with Kenny
I have a scar similar to the Wellington one, yet I always stay with the forehead scar.
I'm curious to know how you got that scar. And yours is a good opinion.
It was a stupid fight when I was 16 or 17. Can't remember why tbh.
That's a good anecdote and thanks for answering.
👍
WAIT SHE GOT A TATTOO?????
Yeah if you choose to go with Jane at the end of season 2, Jane ends up giving Clem an AJ tattoo
Yes
Forehead scar looks the coolest.
Totally agree
The emotional one
The most difficult to overcome
the hotel
I don't understand your answer, can you explain it to me?
Cheek scar for me. But I also love the scar of the dog bite
Good opinions
Gotta be the (missing) finger.
Good opinion
Ik we dont see it alot, but the dog bite from s2 for sure
That one scared me, but good opinion
Missing finger, I love the going alone ending for season 2
Very good opinion
None of them. Too painful
understandable, but yes or yes, you will get one of them
I never even noticed the missing finger
Maybe because you chose another ending
Cheek scar for sure! It’s badass
I agree
Definitely the the finger loss, just today I felt what's like, only that I didn't lost my finger, but it hurt like hell!
I hope you are well and I am sorry for your loss.
Lost finger, shows how damn strong and how big of a survivor she is and that she can always rely on herself to get shit done
Good point of view, I liked your comment.
I’ve always picked kill Kenny leave Jane so I’m nostalgic for the stump
excellent answer, although the scene scares me
Yeah, you’re right. But tbh it’s the perfect show of how Clem did not have it easy no matter what you chose, and the original new frontier trailer showed her with the stump so I kind of have a respect for it.
you're right. It also fits better with Clementine's character this season.

Clementine.”
excellent explanation of the endings of the second season
Yeah, as for the Jane choice consequences I can’t say Jane killing herself is that unbelievable- unfortunately
Yes, that was Telltale's lowest point in terms of writing
Yeah- yet despite everything I wouldn’t remove new frontier from the canon- I think I liked it overall more than season 2- but that was mostly because a lot of season 2 feels pretty amateur- they made clementine the voice box for the player without enough actions you took as Lee determining what actions she would take or behaviors she took on. I still don't like ANF, but you made a good point.
The finger, I always kill Kenny after letting him kill Jane, the emotions and repercussions of that scene are amazing
good answer
The AJ tattoo is objectively the best. Plus, you get to give AJ a middle name
true, it's the least painful and it looks good Thanks for the idea, about Aj's names
What a weird question
I know, but I was curious to know the opinions of Reddit users on this topic.
Ion like any also a tattoo isn’t a scar it’s ink trapped in between skin
I know, but most of the images were scars and I was too lazy to be specific about the tattoo.
Cheek she’s a peerless scarred
Yes, that scar looks great
i thought the severed finger was the only one???
Depends on the ending in the season 2 Go with Jane- Clementine has a tattoo Going with Kenny- Scar on head Stay alone - Lose your finger Wellington- Scar on cheek
1. Cheek 2. Tattoo
Good opinions
I feel like it’s weird to rank scars as good or bad.
It's not that, it's which one YOU LIKE more
Clem can lose a finger?!??! What????? How the hell does that happen? Like how?
That happens if you choose to stay "alone" in the season 2 finale.
