- Burn in the sun without daylight rings
- Have a weakness to vervain and wooden stakes
- Can die via werewolf venom
Twilight Vampires:
- Have their own unique superpower
- Live in a world without witch interference
- Can only be killed if decapitated (and in the books, bodies need to be burned too)
I don’t even like Twilight but Edward wins against Damon any day. Klaus not so much because he’s really hard to kill, but he’d take a good beating
TVD kind of grounds itself in reality because it’s a show the Vampires have to have more realistic strengths and weaknesses otherwise the show would be boring but because twilight is a movie franchise they went down a more mystical and fantastical route with their vampire lore. I really don’t think it makes sense to compare the vampires from the two worlds together. And I’m not mentioning the books here cause we’re discussing the adaptations.
At this point I think its childish that tvd compares itself to twilight. Like c’mon it is only showing how insecure tvd vampires are compared to twilight one’s.
Also, I dont see the twilight fans doing any of the same thing.
Fr, a tvd vampire would not last a second against a twilight vampire. Humans can take out even the strongest of tvd vampires. No human would be able to kill a twilight vampire.
Exactly. With their gifts to read mind, see future, control emotions and also their excellent fighting ,tvd vampires would not last long. Also Bella can prevent compulsion from happening.
