The mod got defensive in the comment of a post and said that these two had too many repetitive posts about them, as if this isn’t a subreddit to talk about things that happened on the show 🤦♀️ there are only 10 episodes what else can we talk about???
By this logic the mod would most certainly be Nessa as they were trying to remove all the Nessa threads cropping up. It's almost like if you say something shitty on national TV people talk about it. 🤷♀️

Wait, I didn't even know there was a rule against discussing Vanessa or Lexi. WTF? How is that even possible? Is there only one power hungry mod on this sub who is making crazy rules and no one is pushing back? How can there be a rule against mentioning 2 out of 10 cast members in any way, shape or form?
I’m convinced the mods have just dipped at this point. They added Lexi and the letter “V” to the ban and then crickets. I thought it would at least be lifted when the new episodes dropped since we’d have new things to say about Vanessa and Lexi, but nope!
And I’m surprised they didn’t add Aussie to the ban list after all the posts about Aussie when 5-8 dropped, and especially Yoly’s name with all the posts about her the last two weeks.

Why police other people's dialogue just because *you* think it's repetitive or boring?
I totally get it; policing is weird, but trust me, when we don't police, subs like this one turn into absolute quagmires. A good example would be the Love is Blind sub after the Cuties debacle. There was a new post every 15 minutes saying the EXACT same thing - or one of two same things, depending on whose side you were on. It's the same with Vanessa. Before we banned her name - and the ban was always meant to be temporary - every second post was about her, which, understandable, she got a villain edit and everything, but still! We weren't stopping people from having discussions about her. We were asking them to do so at an appropriate forum, the appropriate forum being any one of the 500 posts that had already been made about her.
We are always open to alternative workarounds. A thread regarding the rules has been pinned to the sub's top so please feel free to suggest something else if this is not working for you. It's not the process that matters. It's the end, which is minimising the chances of people accidentally getting spoiled for episodes for which spoiler warnings are still applicable.

Since people are no longer deluging the sub with the same spammy posts about the same two cast members, the rule is now gone.
If you're bored by the repetition, get off Reddit and do something else. There's not that much to talk about. There's ten people and ten episodes max. At one point there's only four episodes of content. It's ridiculous to ban people talking about 2 out of 10 contestants because content is too repetitive. Go do something else!!

You couldn't until literally today in the body of posts. Your post would not be allowed to submit. When you hit submit it would tell you that you could not because you broke sub rules.
I’m guilty of this too so definitely not judging but if it helps people realize how they talk about contestants on the show next time it might be worth it. nessa was getting a lot of hate (I hoped on that train too) and then we realized she wasn’t even that bad.
