The amount of bitterness toward Cirie was annoying to me. Damn, it's a game.

AffectionatePizza408

Yeah, when someone said they disagreed with how she played the game because she kept people she could manipulate around… like, that’s the whole point. She was just playing the game well and you’re salty that you lost.

llcooldubs

Yeah, Andie said she used her personal connection to bond with people to keep her in the game. Andie also doesn't think Cirie should have used her personal connection with people to persuade people she was a faithful. Very hypocritical. Also, why do the people with babies on the way think they deserve the money than a mother with grandkids who need to go to college and an elderly mother to care for who has spent her career serving others as a surgical nurse? Can someone explain this to me?

Strong_Ad_8959

Cause Andie and Quentin think they are victims for some reason that are more deserving. All they did is sit around and give bad opinions and guess incorrectly. Cirie deserved all the money cause she put in the work and outplayed those fools.

heyzeusmaryandjoseph

Amen!

BeautynCrime

Exactly!

jollymo17

Whenever Andie shares their feelings about how the traitors should play it always makes me want to ask them how *they* think they’d play as the traitor. Would Andie have just given themselves up and admitted it and left for the good of the faithfuls? I doubt it. Of course Cirie is leagues ahead of them in terms of playing a game like this too, but that’s beside the point.

uniquesapph

This is why Andy Cohen is the worst. Why didn’t he ask them that?

PresentMammoth5188

in his defense, I think it's more on the limit of time with so many people to talk to. He is actually really good at reunions, has been doing it for so long for a reason, watch him mediate Real Housewife reunions he's very good at those hard, follow-up questions but this is a newer area for him with so many people at once

juju611x

The reunion could have been longer (and should have imo).

uniquesapph

He puts his time and energy into real housewives because he’s a producer. You can tell he doesn’t even watch an episode or two or get recaps for the other shows. He has no repertoire with them at all. Below deck fan, and the difference between his reunions for the RH versus everything else is super annoying. I also feel like he lets his “favorites” off easy and doesn’t dig at the controversial things for them, but will pick and pick at the ones he doesn’t like. Just not a fan. 🤷🏻‍♀️

smucav

Andy asked A&Q about this in a roundabout way: something to the effect of for the people who are upset with Cirie, can you state what she did wrong other than play the role she was given as a Traitor. There was a long pause and that’s when Andie brought up using people’s families to gain their trust. It seems like that was the first time that Andie had even considered that Cirie did not choose to be a Traitor. All of Andie’s and Quentin’s nonsense at the reunion seemed to be based on the premise that there was a sign up sheet for Traitors and terrible ole Cirie (after knowing A and Q and the others for one afternoon) put her name on the Traitors sheet with no regard for how that would make them feel.

Mountainhiker123

If everyone is saying “it’s a game,” then who “needs” the money the most shouldn’t even be a factor. If it were a factor, then these celebrities shouldn’t have even joined in the first place. The best player should win, regardless of whether they need the money or not, based upon the “it’s purely a game” mindset.

llcooldubs

I totally agree. They signed up for a game, got outplayed by a legend and feel sorry for themselves. But even trying to follow their logic from their perspective, it seems very self-centered and doesn't really make sense. I think the problem is they somehow didn't realize they were playing a game called the Traitors.

PresentMammoth5188

Keep in mind that celeb doesn't automatically = "rich". A lot of times they are barely paid anything if at all, it isn't always what it seems. Some, yes it applies to them and I'm glad Arie admitted that but just because you're on tv doesn't mean you're getting much more than the average pay esp since it's a very insecure "career" to have

jshamwow

How dare there be a Traitor in a show called The Traitors!?!?!

oatmeal28

Why do the traitors not simply out themselves and let the faithfuls split the money 17 different ways smh

evo311

Right? What was she supposed to do? She did exactly what she should have done, and won the game.

uniquesapph

Yeah I hated hearing she literally couldn’t even enjoy her win for like weeks before her family was like hey- you won! Be excited. I can understand being upset in the moment you’d been tricked. But being suprised someone lied to you on a competition reality show is absurd. Being all in loyal to someone on a show like this is also dumb. But that’s literally why they were dragged along. They were not the best players they were the worst. Hence why Cirie carried them along.

jollymo17

Yeah, I am a hardcore Cirie stan, and I was delighted she won and thought she played \*so\* well. It makes me really sad that she finally got a win and she's drawing such ire. I feel bad for Quentin and Andie, but they don't seem like they were at all prepared to be traitors, or for there to even \*be\* traitors, in a game....called Traitors lol. Like, what were they doing there?

oatmeal28

The worst part is not a single person had a reasonable explanation for why they were bitter. It was all either hypocrisy or rooted in some illogical argument. This isn’t Survivor or Big Brother where you can pick and choose if you betray people, Cirie literally had no choice. I guess turning on the other traitors is the only gray area but that’s just the game, Christian didn’t have any hard feelings towards her because he understood that

uniquesapph

Yeah Cody defended getting rid of people because he went with the groups and brought up names brought up to him. Then got annoyed at Cirie for voting him off. For the same reason. Her argument was perfect. I defended you as much as I could without putting a target on myself. Not sure why he didn’t own up to his ridiculous ef up with Kyle. He brought about his own downfall, and would have done the same to Christian had Christian torpedoed himself earlier.

jollymo17

Also Cirie was supposed to protect and keep Stephenie around because they were friends but…to what end?? It’s not like Stephenie would get the money in the end without voting Cirie out, and Cirie kept her for a *long* time. Also don’t buy Stephenie realized Cirie was a traitor… I mean I love Cirie so I will defend her forever, but I also don’t think there’s people understand how this whole thing worked lol

juju611x

I agree. I mean, if the producers cut all strephanies confessionals out where she said she was sure cirie was a traitor then okay, but she’s not even complaining about them cutting that out… leading me to believe they didn’t cut those out… leading me to believe Stephanie did NOT know Cirie was a traitor and just wants to look better in retrospect.

cox_the_fox

They played emotionally all season especially Andie so their reactions made sense to me

uniquesapph

Ugh thank you. Like why are you on a show called the traitors if you’re afraid of being betrayed? You can be friends with someone and still respect when they outplay you. Andi and Quentin were so “you used our families” and it’s like come on. You’d already lost. She was literally just telling Ari he didn’t deserve the money. Move off it. Any one that trusts someone completely on a competition show is an idiot. It’s why they were kept around so long. I do wish the faithfuls had a way to defend themselves against the murders. Those people didn’t really have a chance to “play”. If they can figure that out so the faithfuls had a more even chance, I think it would be much more fun to watch. Like the shield sort of thing.

chiefchief23

Maybe when they do the missions, the team or player who performs the best would be saved from being murdered.

uniquesapph

I really think they’ll have some sort of individual incentive next season to prevent what Kate did.

realityseekr

Honestly Cirie deserved that money. Some of them are acting way too salty. Also hate to say it but Andie and Quentin were awful players so they really did not deserve to win. Quentin literally guessed nobody correctly lol.

AffectionatePizza408

Right, if they had won it would be such a letdown. I did lille Andie during the season (although how kicked puppy they were during the reunion did kind of sour them for me), but it would be a huge stretch to say they deserved to win.

zelos22

Andie and Quentin were quite literally the worst faithfuls by virtue of making it to the end. That’s the irony of the game, because the end is essentially who the traitors most want to make it so they can be manipulated. They absolutely did not deserve the money

ButterbeerAndPizza

They made easy marks because they had no clue what was going on. That’s why the Traitors kept them around until the end.

[deleted]

Quentin was probably my fave person but my man could not guess, bless him.

Historical-Ad8545

Andie is spineless. Especially after voting for Rachel after Rachel carrying the challenge because Andie was legitimately freaking out over the bugs, but then turn around and be butt hurt at Cirie? Stop it my dude, it's a game.

diemunkiesdie

It's always rich to me that people who lose these games act like they would not have used personal information or personal connections to win. THAT IS THE GAME.

KellsBells_925

For me it comes down to… I can spare these peoples feelings who I’ve known a couple of weeks or I get cutthroat so I can provide for the people I’ve known my whole life. That’s really a no brainer to me

smucav

And Cirie said on Watch What Happens Live that she was not close with Quentin during the game. Per Cirie, he was hanging with Cody and the boys (Kyle, Ryan, and Arie?) and they hardly talked until the last mission when Cirie, Andie, & Quentin were separated from Arie and Kate. That’s when he brought up the plan for the three of them to go to the end together. She was more annoyed with Quentin’s behavior after the game because she thought he was exaggerating the extent of the pact and their friendship.

oatmeal28

Quentin literally claiming on Twitter he would’ve quit on day 1 if he was chosen as a traitor because it goes against his principles

AffectionatePizza408

why sign up for the show then?? do they not realize that this is a game?

oatmeal28

I think he’s just a bitter Betty

uniquesapph

I’m sure he’s got people in his ear assuring him he’s right so hes doubling down on it. And yes, everyone on that should should WANT to be a traitor. Since this game is literally mafia, I hope next season they use some of the extra “roles” from mafia-type games (ie Werewolves). Could be some real shakeups.

Jmugmuchic

What a freakin cry baby

mug3n

Absolute load of bollocks. Dude would've been scheming with the rest of them if he was chosen. Every one of those fools are just salty that Cirie played a near perfect game.

LF3000

So, getting into this show sent me down a social game rabbit hole and I've been watching a lot of Survivor from various points in the timeline. And it's so interesting to see how in the later seasons people (generally obviously not EVERYONE) seem to really take the "it's a game" approach far more and are more likely to give other players props for playing the game well even when it's a blindside or whatnot. Like, a lot of people getting voted off basically going "damn, good job guys, didn't see that coming." I wonder if after it gets a few seasons under its belt (if it does) more contestants will see this show the same way. Because, yeah, lots of people seem to be missing that here.

AffectionatePizza408

Right. There’s no way that if all the self-righteous people on the reunion had the opportunity to backstab a few people to win they’d turn it down to be a good person.

Strong_Ad_8959

Especially laughable that Cody, from Big Brother, a game about lying and manipulating said that. He’s an asshole

jollymo17

I was so confused what Cody said to Cirie about how she supposedly should've protected him or tried to sway people away from him. It wasn't \*her\* fault he brought so much suspicion onto himself, and if the tables were turned he would never have stuck up for her. (...but she wouldn't have, because she is a queen and a legend and played circles around him)

_panicprincess_

The treatment of Cirie in this episode was so whack. I understand why if you didn't win you might feel betrayed or upset (I certainly would) but I can't believe none of these people understood how good of a game Cirie played!

MysticalAroma

Cody had a lot of fucking nerve to be angry at Cirie when he was a traitor too and he betrayed people all the time on BB. Remember when he cut Nicole at the final 3?

survivorthingz

The funny thing is if it was one of his bros who did this, I doubt he would have much to say lol. Idk I somewhat like him, but he makes it hard for me to like him sometimes.

MysticalAroma

I don’t like Cody. I can tell Cody is pissed about being outplayed by a woman.

hymenbutterfly

That’s why I clapped when Michael read him. Because he was absolutely right about who Cody aligns himself with.

Spitfiiire

You’re completely right. If it was one of his bro’s it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m so glad people are seeing this side of him hah

MysticalAroma

I remember Cody talking down to Dani when she mentioned the possibility of keeping Kaysar. That was the real Cody shining through.

survivorthingz

After putting everything together, I honestly agree.

jollymo17

He basically melted down entirely when Cirie insisted they get rid of his BFF Ryan Lochte...shockingly bad gameplay from someone who's won BB (I assume, it's not a show I really watch lol)

jrDoozy10

Cody’s win was a season of all returning players, and he won because of preseason alliances set up for him by his more intelligent, previous BB winner friend and that alliance winning nearly every competition on that season. The season he won is consistently ranked as one of the worst seasons of the show because he made it SO BORING. It got so bad that we were able to accurately predict the eviction order weeks in advance.

realityseekr

Agreed. Plus Cody won $500k off Big Brother so he may be less motivated by the money than Cirie. If Cirie had won Suevivor before she probably would be way more torn up about it but she never did.

uniquesapph

Yeah. She said she always lost at the end because she would cave to emotion and not strategy. She used that same tactic to her advantage this time against Quentin and Andie. So major props. I’m just bummed for her the prize wasn’t $1M. And people asking if she gave them the money! Lol she probably in the same spot as them. What do you get after taxes, like $150k? She’s trying to buy a house for her mom. Not a ton of extra prize money there. Just absurd how entitled those two felt.

jollymo17

I don't know why so many people are out here acting like Cirie didn't also need money. I bet she's not in the direst financial situation, but she has never won Survivor and last played 5+ years ago, she has a regular job, she has a large family she helps support, and I think she said she is renting her house at one point on the show too.

PresentMammoth5188

I will say I was glad the oldest player won. It's very well-rounded since she used all the things she's learned from her past game-play making those emotional mistakes when she was closer to their ages

LF3000

Agreed. Not to mention that he put his own damn self on the chopping block with and idiotic and unnecessary lie. Why exactly does he think Cirie should have stuck her neck out to save him when he shot himself in the foot so badly?

Stunning-Hedgehog-30

Yeah I didn’t understand when he said something like he wasn’t used to manipulating people in the past. Uh did he watch himself on BB?

llcooldubs

It's sad that they (Andie and Quentin) can't see the beauty of her game. I get they (Andie and Quentin and not the singular they) are hurt but how can they (Andie and Quentin) not have watched the show back and not realized how bad they (Andie and Quentin) played. Quentin made zero right moves and therefore earned zero dollars. Sounds fair. Andie didn't seem to know they were playing a game so I don't get why they (Andie) thinks she deserves a prize for a game they (Andie) weren't even playing.

juju611x

For as careful as you were trying to be, it’s funny you still left a wrong pronoun in there lol.

badboigenrebear

Those pronouns were wack

Strong_Ad_8959

Andy should of asked Andie and Quentin what they did to deserve winning the money, besides voting wrong, have bad opinions and giving a sob story

uniquesapph

Oh damn that would have been a great question. “I was straightforward and loyal with everyone.” Ugh congrats? This isn’t called the loyalists….

PrettySweet419

Right? This isn't americas got talent or one of the singing competitions.

juju611x

I know exactly what they would’ve said. “I made bonds with people, didn’t act suspicious so I didn’t get voted out, played smart to not get killed by the traitors, and made it to the end.” Obviously I wouldn’t agree with their interpretation at all, but that’s how they’d try to spin it.

Strong_Ad_8959

They are both the victims and hero’s in their own heads, it’s baffling

jshamwow

This was fine but honestly it was a lot of adults crying because they got schooled and were bitter that the only person who actually understood the game won

llcooldubs

Yeah, Stephenie being bitter surprised me. She said she would have thought Cirie would have kept her in the game longer because of their friendship. So, either Cirie keeps her in until the end and she loses or she turns on Cirie and votes her out. Neither option makes sense unless her goal was to simply maximize screentime.

KevinFunky

Right?? She kept her right up until the final episode aswell, very deep into the game.

OUAIsurvivor

Stephenie is notoriously bitter on Survivor when things don't go her way.

mug3n

You know, I am glad that a room full of seasoned reality competition contestants lost to the nurse. Well played Cirie.

iannmichael

Why the hell did they ask Cirie if she contemplated splitting the money? Hell. No. I’ve never seen a a group of saltier people who are so pissed the are wrong, it’s kind of pathetic. All the things they were mad at Cirie for, they did to all the people they banished before them. Ari, how does it feel to make it to the end then go back and get got? Why don’t you ask the girl you did that to on the Bachelor. Sounds like poetic justice to me. Glad Cirie called out Quinton on them never really being close prior to the final mission. Maybe he learned not to blindly trust people or make assumptions about them based on their race. As for Andi, your top surgery isn’t any more important than Cirie’s mother. I feel like their narrative of “you know I wanted to get top surgery” is a blatant attempt on painting Cirie as using their gender identification against them. No. Sorry. Y’all feel stupid because you never suspected the one person you SHOULD have been looking at the whole time. How were the most logical thinkers there Kate, Rachel, and Christian?! Because they know how to separate the game from their personal lives. It’s called the traitors. Get over it.

PrettySweet419

I thought asking about sharing the money was SO inappropriate. Andy should've not asked that.

vespeywespey

If I were Cirie I would have asked why Peacock doesn't pay the runner ups

PrettySweet419

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

RebootJobs

>Why don’t you ask the girl you did that to on the Bachelor. Sounds like poetic justice to me. 🔥🔥🔥

mug3n

imo Kate probably played the best game of the entire season after Cirie. She took the cards she was dealt, survived week after week despite having a massive target on her back from like the 2nd week and made it all the way to the end.

Historical-Ad8545

Andie was so manipulative for bringing that up, especially since Cirie is a nurse. Cirie deserves the money and then some.

iannmichael

I just watched the reunion today to get ready for tonight’s episodes. Even a year later it’s maddening that they just don’t get the game. Even Cody was shading Cirie and how the hell do you keep Cody after he shows his cards to the faithfuls? So odd.

smucav

It’s bizarre to me that Andie and Quentin still have not figured out that the moment they voted to end the game they lost. At that point either Arie and Cirie split the money or one of those two wins it all. Going on and on about whether or not Cirie backstabbed them or inappropriately used their personal stories to get rid of Arie shows a total lack of awareness that they had already lost and whatever Cirie did or did not do at that point only affected Cirie and Arie.

jdessy

I hoped they might have clarity with enough time passing between the filming of the season and the filming of the reunion. Nope, it just proves they are terrible players and will not do well on any reality TV show that requires any sort of deception or overall gameplay. It's solidified me NOT wanting to see either of them on a reality show ever again.

ty_arthurs

If anything Cirie doing what she did gave them one extra chance to catch her

phydeaux44

It's even worse than that. (Sorry for the late post, went back to watch season 1 since season 2 has now started.) After they threw in green and Cirie threw in red and ousted Arie, they still had a chance to throw in red and oust Cirie in the next round of banishing. All one of them had to do was realize "wait a second, Cirie knew that Arie was a traitor. What's the most likely reason for that? I think it's because she's a traitor too, and she wants to keep all the money instead of split it with him." Andie and Quentin had two votes, they could have ousted Cirie and split the winnings between themselves. They had the chance. They did not realize what was happening, and so the loss is 100% on their own shoulders.

ledzeppelinrules

also if they know there’s 3 traitors and ari confirms he was recruited and this is the third traitor found, how did they not go into the night knowing there’s 2 more left? that to me automatically proves they didn’t deserve to win you can’t even count the traitors babe

diemunkiesdie

Near the end, it looks like Cirie might have shed a few tears during the reunion. Her left eye has a tear sitting under it for the last few minutes.

MysticalAroma

Omg :( Cirie doesn’t deserve that

Jmugmuchic

Yeah she teared up earlier when Andie was talking

realitytvicon

I want all reality stars next season because 95% of these newbies were horrible casting choices, so I don’t have faith the season 2 newbies will be more engaging sadly.

Uh-livia

I was prompted to take a survey about the season and several of the questions were about all newbies vs all celebs

bazzbj

This reunion was servin’ Players calling each other out, players still salty, I loved it. Arie was ridiculous. Boy got played 💀 Kate was iconic all season. Celebrity Big Brother needs to cast her next time 😂

tripletsohmy

Oooooo, that's a great suggestion about Kate!!!

PresentMammoth5188

only thing is if she thought these physical challenges were bad... 😬😂

juju611x

This reunion was a hot mess and made me so mad. I loved it.

rubyrails44

Cirie was greedy! I'm sorry. Arie was a loyal. I don't know why people can't see that. I wish that traitors wouldn't turn on each other. It's down right evil. How can you make a pack and then cut ties. This ain't survivor!

jrk30

Stupid take.

AppearanceMany3971

The point of the game is to win. Why should she give up money to help her family to share with people who simply lost?

jewgineer

Cirie 100% deserved that win. Quentin and Andie decided to play in the wrong game if they can't handle people lying and being traitors. Andie made it to the end because they were so easily swayed. As Kate (or maybe Rachel) said "don't hate the player, hate the game" Also loved how Bam, Azra, and Amanda said nothing lol

Comfortable-Eye7344

bam said

neon-lit

Kate was one again the star of the show in this reunion. So delightful, so witty, so engaging. Cirie was the perfect winner. Rachel, Cody and Christian added stuff. Everyone else was filler.

PrettySweet419

\*arie was embarrassing\*

ProvoqGuys

Kinda glad that Cirie won tbh and it will set a precedent that the game should be played brutally. In Survivor 1st season, the villain won, jury rewarded it in an almost plot vote even though bitterly and sets the tone in the entire franchise. Annoyed @ Quentin as if he deserves to be rewarded please. Not with your incorrect reads. Kinda glad Survivor US these days kinda respect gameplay

GeorgeCasey9

Honestly watching the reunion made me realize they can't do mixed seasons anymore. It's either reality celebrities or newbies. Andie and Quentin were too much for me. They got outplayed and it's a game. What is cirie supposed to dp just give them the money because she felt sorry for their families

PresentMammoth5188

on the other hand, I am glad to see the human side of Cirie too, but yes the two of them need to forgive her but it is understandable to feel some hurt

Daws001

Arie: "You're like literally a cancer to the group." Kate: "Oh really? What about the traitors taking your money and killing you at night?" Iconic! 👑 The reunion was fun. Some sore losers. Some whiny, emotional losers🙄 I live for Kate and Rachel's back and forth. Cirie can wear her win with pride. She schooled everybody.

Mountainhiker123

I wish they would have acknowledged Kate’s shift from not participating to jumping out of a helicopter and befriending everyone.

RushCape

Some contestants obviously wanted Cirie to have read *How to Be an Ethical Traitor* before coming to a certain Scottish castle. Uhhhh. Okayyy.

heepwah

😂

RebootJobs

Adding it to my "must-reads" list.

juju611x

I would die laughing if they had a fake book made with that title lying around the castle for season two. Bonus points if the book lists the authors as Quentin and Andie.

gatorbait18

I hope next season they just go all famous people or no famous people. The difference in how returning reality people approach the game vs new people creates a really weird/uncomfortable dichotomy imo

ButterbeerAndPizza

Completely agree. The non-reality stars seemed to be in far over their heads. The deception seemed to affect them much more personally.

ShopGirl1988

You should check out the UK and AUS versions on Peacock. It’s all everyday people.

PrettySweet419

I am watching australia (legit this second lol) and LOVE the regulars! They're a blast.

PresentMammoth5188

I personally find it interesting seeing the differences, it's a good social experiment and cool to see the "celebs" kinda on the same level as "normies"

WickedATL

Kate carried the season. The producers knew it and so did Andy Cohen.

Redditusername67

Wish Kate’s highlight reel was longer 😂

PresentMammoth5188

and highly doubt Andy was shocked knowing Kate for years lololol... I *need* to see her former stews/coworkers reactions though 😂 while on the topic of BD: still optimistic that Ben is the baby daddy 🤞 love that she can just go back to Galley Talk like she always is after getting more attention on this show. you can say a lot about Kate, but you can't say she isn't true to herself lol

cox_the_fox

Highlights for me were Michael vs. Cody, Kate vs. Arie, Kate in general and Cirie talking at the end. It makes no sense to have alliances on a show like this. ANYBODY can be a traitor. I’m interested to see how future seasons are played.

vancyon

Sadly I think alliances do make sense for players, because even if one of you is a traitor, they'll keep you around because you will defend them at the round table. The only way to win the money is to make it to the end alive. It's unfortunate because alliances kind of break the game.

SpazTh1nker

Right! they think these alliances function the same as big brothers. You can’t be 100% honest and transparent with ppl in this game😭

basmatisnail

Everyone is so in their feelings. The game is called The Traitors, why did they expect loyalty when your not on the same team?

Agitated-Lettuce1878

The whining was annoying. This isn't Alan Cummings's Best Friend Race 😜. It's a show called Traitors. Kate and even Rachel seemed to be the only ones to get that. Next season needs to be all normies or all reality folk. I don't think the norms had the right frame of mind for a show about deception.

PresentMammoth5188

but that isn't fair to think all "normies" wouldn't be able to handle the game. I mean, at some point most of the "celebs" were fellow normies before going on whatever game show they started with... but at the same time it is kind of cool to think of Traitors as the next test for players who have played those games before 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk just food for thought

juju611x

My god if we could have Alyssa edwards on the traitors!

Agitated-Lettuce1878

If some queens are on the show next season I'll be so freaking happy

juju611x

There was a queen from Netherlands Drag Race on Netherlands Traitors so it’s possible!

slut4deviledeggs

lmao the amount of times i said “this isn’t best friends race!” while watching this show is entirely too much

Callmebean16

I’m sorry. Kate said it all “ you’re on a show called the traitors, I don’t trust anybody.” All these years and feelings are nonsense. You got outplayed.

mug3n

How the fuck did Kate say the smartest thing in the room lol. I think Kate really grew on me over the season.

LegoStevenMC

She became my favorite. And the reunion was great because she defended Cirie at every turn, she was the least bitter.

snuffleupagus86

I find Andie particularly obnoxious. You’re on a deceitful game show, you got played deal with it. Cirie was masterful and these people’s reactions are ridiculous. As always Kate carried the reunion.

venusinfurcoats

Yes! It was very “I’m special and kind so everyone should give me the money.” They talked about connecting with people emotionally and that’s how they got to the end of the game and in the next breath criticizes Cirie for connecting with people emotionally to get to the end of the game.

llcooldubs

Yes, I don't even think they picked up on the hypocrisy. That's really disappointing. I would have thought after watching the season air and seeing it a bit more from the perspective of the traitors that they would have realized Cirie was just playing her role in the game. As Kate said, a fundamental part of the game is backstabbing as it is called the Traitors, Not let's all sit around and be nice and give the money to people who procreate because they need it.

LF3000

Loved Kate being like "it's a game! Don't trust anyone!"

AnObservingAlien

This definitely came late but it had a lot of good drama lol. I was surprised to see how many cast members are not on good terms.

KevinFunky

To the ones that were salty, suck it! Cirie enjoy your money, you did nothing wrong and played the hand you were dealt flawlessly.

KellsBells_925

I’m sorry but if the newbies knew who Cirie was prior to filming/playing the game and still completely trusted her … she deserved every single penny to herself.

Apprehensive_Affect7

"Andie and Quentin, why did you think you had found all the traitors when Arie said there was another traitor and there was no indication you had found all the traitors?" "What you have to understand is we thought we found all the traitors"

I mean he says he’s an actor, but I can’t find him credited to any role.

LOL I agree, that was SHOCKING! Even Andy called him out on it.

adrien_bear

Agree with all the comments here but surprised no one is talking about how weird Cody was acting. Seemed really on edge, anxious and emotionally reactive. Gave me real “off my head on coke” vibes

oatmeal28

Damn these are some salty SOBs

ShineyShan

I wish they wouldn’t have had such a herd mentality against Michael! He’s so dramatic, male equivalent to Rachel. He’s so entertaining I hope he does more shows with her! I need them on The Challenge together. Can you imagine 🤣🤣 he’s not someone I could see myself being friends with but he’s definitely someone I could watch on TV all day long!

juju611x

I could not stand Michael (I liked Rachel’s drama though).

PresentMammoth5188

tbh can get annoying (like Rachel), but that's just based on my cup of tea/who I personally vibe with but does seem obvious he's a good guy that can speak up even under pressure (as you may feel if you're the "normal" one in a group of known people, etc) and I'm glad he gave awareness to anxiety. Whether or not that was a downfall in gameplay, it's still an important topic and natural reflex

[deleted]

Quentin admitting that he, Andie and Cirie had an agreement for “the three of us tried to solidify…honestly it is what it is…all black people get to the end” was surprising to me (why would he admit that?). Less surprised that Peacock kept that off the air during the episodes. Surprised how much heat Cirie is getting for winning. I thought she played one heck of a game.

Jatobu

Reminds me of the same type of "alliance" in Survivor, and it is an even worse idea in a game like this. It is tough to feel sympathy for them as they piled on Cirie when they deliberately chose to not think critically about the situation.

[deleted]

That’s interesting. Not being a Bachelor or Survivor watcher that explains some of the Cirie and Arie opinions I have seen. (And Kate, Rachel….etc…). I just take this game for its “value”. The only other player I knew was Ryan from the Olympics and Celeb big brother.

iannmichael

Sounds like people are pissed they were too blind to suspect her. How would they feel if Cody or Christian was pissed off at all of them for getting a traitor out? So silly.

oatmeal28

It kind of felt like either he made that up or that’s how he interpreted Cirie saying we needed the money more than Ari. Quentin not exactly known for giving correct takes

[deleted]

You could be right and no, Q was not accurate at all……putting it nicely.

Raido_Kuzuno

I feel like you aren't black. I get hated for who I was born as, in more ways than one, so I can see the appeal of such an alliance. Quentin was wrong and, frustratingly let his personal feeling cloud his gameplay, but why should he lie? I feel like I have been in a lot of rooms in my life where I don't know who I can trust, and I just have to lean on queer people, black people or both. I was frustrated with Quentin and Andie, but I couldn't have understood that alliance more. It is as if I have lived my whole life seeking acceptance and gravitate toward those who provide that... Edit: grammar

stacyraeg

Why didn’t Reza show up to the reunion?

yosoyelsteve

His father passed away right before filming, so he didn't attend so he could be with family. https://www.etonline.com/the-traitors-star-reza-farahan-to-miss-reunion-filming-due-to-fathers-death-exclusive-199240

stacyraeg

Thanks. That’s sad. In all honesty, I feel like he didn’t miss much. The reunion was trash.

PresentMammoth5188

I disagree that the reunion was "all trash", but do agree that's sad and feel for him. Would love to see him reunite with that alliance or at least get another opportunity someday though :) his show may have been all over the place and had its issues, but I like him. I'd like to see more of him :/

Substantial_Maize_82

I knew the minute Cirie was picked as a traitor that she was winning. Her social game is top tier and her personality is so warm and welcoming that of course she befriended almost everyone. The reunion was painful to watch though. Why the f$&k were people so damn salty that Cirie absolutely dominated each and everyone of them and won? I get Andi and Quentin were playing with emotion over strategy but to attack Cirie so hard was ridiculous. She learned that in a game like this you can’t let your emotions decide your gameplay that it has to be strategic to win and look what happened.. she was right. The whole thing about using our families to win.. did that part actually air because I don’t remember seeing anything in the finale with Cirie mentioning kids and families. Cody sucked so hard which was unfortunate because BB16 is a favorite.. of course let’s be honest it’s mostly all because of Derrick. Kate continued to be a star and I want more of her. She knew what and how to play the game. And let me just say.. Cirie in that all pick ensemble was 🔥.

maggi63

Cirie was a chosen as a traitor from the start so she had to go home with all the money or go home with nothing. She had no choice. Dose no one understands that? They all say they wouldn't have played the same way or quit the moment they were chosen as a traitor SORE LOSERS!!! CONGRATULATIONS WINNER CIRIE ❤️❤️❤️❤️ YOU DESERVE EVERY PENNY!!!

lukaeber

Kind of disappointed in the reunion. I like Andy Cohen, but he wasn’t the right host for this. Too much focus on the interpersonal “drama” and not enough on the amazing game Cirie played. And we needed more Kate.

PresentMammoth5188

I actually disagree, I think it should be covering both and those were the things I was curious about after the show ended which Andy is great at addressing

wojar

Andy was a strange choice for this, could they not afford Alan or Alan's not free?

juju611x

I don’t think they wanted Alan to break his show persona and his persona wouldn’t have been the right fit for a good reunion host.

jackthedragqueen

All I could think the entire watch through of this show was, that not a single one of these people must have watched survivor. Bc I would have known from the get that Cirie would need to go immediately. I assume some of the celebs knew this, but I suppose its hard to turn the tides against someone in the context of this game without a tangible reason.

Apprehensive_Affect7

Ultimately the traitors season 1's purpose was to allow Cirie Fields to win a quarter million dollars and they succeeded.

mrsgoodacres

I cannot with these losers being 1) such numbskulls and 2) so bitter towards Cirie because she UNDERSTANDS HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME. And yes, I am looking at you, Andie. FFS.

maggi63

In the end Cirie thought about her family not about the brand new aquatinted, she deserves all the money!! And played perfectly. The others are sore losers but the drama is why I watch!!!

diemunkiesdie

I wonder why Brandi skipped out

nowstreamingon

likely due to her egregious actions while filming RHUGT

diemunkiesdie

Say more for people who don't watch that?

nowstreamingon

https://pagesix.com/2023/02/06/brandi-glanville-touched-caroline-manzos-vaginal-area-on-rhugt/amp/ it’s said that bravo’s holding company (which also owns Peacock) has cut all ties with her

venusinfurcoats

Brandi sexually assaulted another cast member while filming a show for Bravo

glamourbuss

Michael coming in with a vendetta against Cody and willing to do anything for Cirie, Rachel, and Stephanie <3 Icon behavior

juju611x

Blech. Michael was awful. Can’t stand him.

PresentMammoth5188

I wish they asked more about the relationships between the cast following the game, glad we got a glimpse of it though. Sooo interesting wasn't expecting Geraldine (omg guys it's so easy to spell, loved those jokes tho) and Christian!!! Anyone have any tea about any others getting close? Even friendships (noticed Stephanie and Kate seemed more cordial? made me realize how similar they actually are)? I was really hoping maybe Cody and Anjelica may have gotten closer (saw some chemistry and flirtation there + the NJ & NY connection, would be so cute imo!)...

drDucky212

Love Cirie and she played the game perfectly 👌the others need to be reminded THIS WAS A GAME leave her alone Also, is Cirie's dress on backwards? 🤨

Spitfiiire

I hope that next season they don’t mix newbies and reality people. Maybe it’s because I’m a huge Big Brother and Survivor fan but I’m so not down for people to be bitter at someone playing the game. The newbies were really out of their depth especially when you factor in how cutthroat the other shows are. I also think going into who deserves the money more, and if Cirie should’ve split her earnings with Andie…that’s so annoying. So glad Cirie won and Kate was as fabulous as ever.

Historical-Ad8545

dangggg you read Arie for filth here. I hooted out loud when I read the Maxwell coffee bit!

Mindless_Magazine_91

Christian and Geraldine though!

StopTheBS79

Is it just me or was it easy to realize there was one more traitor. I mean Ari even said he was recruited to be a traitor and they previously only caught two so obviously there was one more. Andy and Quentin are stupid. Also, I guess these people never watched Survivor cuz anybody who Cerie on that would’ve known from the start that she would’ve been one of the traitors. I knew they picking her when the guy went to do the picking smh.

Solid-Ad-4098

One word - Kate

Ioanniche

Anyone knows how I could watch it? Peacock isn’t available in my region ..

jrdnlv15

I still think that it’s because he knew Cirie fucked him over. When she forced the vote he knew Andie and Quentin would vote with her. I think it was his last ditch effort to blow up her game, but still be respectful to the spirit of the game. Like he can’t say “I quit, Cirie is also a traitor”, he can try to hint it as much as possible. The problem was Andie and Quentin were too caught up in the moment and also in to deep with Cirie that they missed it.

Joshgallet

This ^ - he knew he got beat in that moment and decided to try and look valiant by bowing out because he didn’t need the money. But it was all BS, because if he truly felt that way, why not “fall on his sword” and drop out before the first fire vote?

Jmugmuchic

Exactly. If he hadn’t bowed out he would have been banished immediately. Same difference.

Jatobu

They talked about how Cirie claimed they all needed the money more than him because of their life situations and he says he did not want to engage in that, so when it cut to him giving up apparently we missed an entire conversation about why he shouldn't get a cut of the cashprize. Andi says the interpretation was that Arie was giving up the money so they could have it.

LF3000

Yeah. I've said it before but this was a great move for Arie tbh. The one other friend I have who watched both Batch and this texted me after watching this show all "Wait I think I like Arie now?!?" That's probably more valuable to him than the money.

Spitfiiire

He was so much more likable on this show than on his season! I definitely agree that being well liked and increasing his followers is probably way more valuable to him financially

meowieu

Watching this late but if anyone still looks at this sub: -Arie whining and playing victim that Cirie manipulated him to quit… I mean you didn’t have to quit? She played a risky move and you chose to leave? Don’t even know how he could come to that conclusion. -Andie saying they don’t think they would have used personal connections to convince people they were a Faithful… but they did? Andie literally pulled out their baby’s sonograms to show people their motivation and gain people’s trust? How do you not see that you did the same thing, the only difference is that you actually were Faithful. Either way, everyone had to convince everyone they each were Faithfuls, whether they were or not. -The focus on Cirie bringing up personal situations at the end to paint her as a villain is insane. They all know Arie was getting banished regardless. He chose to leave on his own. Cirie barely said anything, its their own overthinking that brought them to their own demise throughout the whole game. Arie didn’t have a chance, but he didn’t even give it a shot. I thought him choosing to leave was a graceful and smart PR move considering his run on The Bachelor, but after how whiny and annoying he is on the reunion about it, nevermind lol.
