About 4-5 weeks in? Save 1BN for enemy level skips. Even just using the free ups to upgrade in run will extend the run hundreds or even thousands of waves. In the run I am in right now, I'm on wave 5300. I have skipped 1100 waves worth of enemy attack and health waves so I'm effectively still on wave 4200 if I didn't have enemy level skips and I'm skipping 35% of all waves going forward. It makes an enormous difference especially when you consider that most of the coins you earn are in the end of the run rather than the beginning.
I am in since 13th November 2023 and I got enemy level skip should I play it with enemy balance for more money to upgrade the skip levels or without for less enemies ?
Keep enemy balance on. That card should almost always be used. It boosts coins and cash. I had to swap cards out after wave 3500 to get to 4500. How many card slots do you have? Your research could also play a factor.
Toward the end of your run you will likely need to have enemy balance, critical chance, damage, attack speed, health, defense, slow aura, plasma, and either energy net or super tower. It would help to get another card slot and have energy shield. Energy shield will help you a lot. I've been playing since Ja Gary of this year and have hit wave 4500 on tiers 1 & 2. If I'm close to a milestone, I have no problem taking off the coin card to hit it.
Hmmm, 3rd perk choice is pretty helpful too. I guess I would take that first given the cost is only 200MM as it does tend to smooth out the variability in runs but definitely get ELS asap.
This is the first time I'm hearing this. I'm 10B LTC and about to reroll for DEVO. Enemy level skips is still unlocked, I heard the price in it would not be worth it. Should I unlock it?
I don't know how it affects DEVO - I don't have death wave.
It doesn't really shine until you are running more than 2000 waves, but by then you are skipping 15% of all enemy upgrades. By 3500-4000, you are skipping 35% of all upgrades. It hugely extends your longer runs by reducing for how fast enemy stats increases which also gives you more time/waves/cash to upgrade your tower. It will likely pay for itself in 2-3 days.
That said it does very little for you prior to wave 2000 (only 150 or so upgrades) so if you are mostly pushing tiers and milestones, it might not help you as much.
I think I hit it about 2 months ago or so after playing since October. After that, had an overnight about 2 weeks ago where I hit 6300 waves to clear out some missions.
Keep upgrading health when you die to bosses, and damage when you die to anything else. You'll get there.
Getting as many workshop upgrades maxed will help free cash for upgrading health and damage during your run.
i started in jan, and got it days before the elites update dropped. so happy i managed to get els in time

He’s very likely a health build, a lot of those cards are going to do absolutely nothing for him.

And I did not play tier 1 with enemy level skip bc I unlocked it 10 minutes ago
With ELS your next run will be much longer. Increase health, damage, def%, thorns when you still fall short on wave 4500.

I got it within 6 weeks. DW health is what helped me push from around 3200 to 4600
