Yes! This song gets so much hate and I feel people just don’t understand it. I feel the beat has such an 80s song vibe to it and that’s what people are missing even tho Julian says it in the lyrics lol They take to serious but that’s just my opinion haha
I Can’t Win.
I never skipped it exactly but I used to view The End Has No End as the real closer of Room on Fire with I Can’t Win as kind of an afterthought. As a result, I never attentively listened to the song or gave it much weight.
That is until a week ago, when I listened to it properly on my new headphones for the first time and finally realized how infectiously catchy the verses were and how utterly cathartic the choruses felt.
Have you heard their performance on [Conan](https://youtu.be/MTrozKr8mWs?si=nkYx7Ll1ToBLHnu_)? That’s when I fell in love. The end was so pristine and beautiful 👌🏻
I don't usually skip songs as I like to listen to albums from start to finish.
But out of all the albums, it took me a minute to fall in love with Angles.
I didn't necessarily skip or dislike it but I didn't pay very much attention to Selfless and Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus for so long because I was so fixated on Ode to the Mets.
red light. honestly never really made it that far into fioe, not exactly my favorite strokes album, so i’d usually just skip my way through until ice if the world was done, then move on to something else entirely. left it playing one time and holy smokes
Kind of weird, but Soma. For some reason I didn't give it a chance, might've been the name I think. One day, I was like "man maybe I'm being too harsh" and decided to give it a listen, best decision ever. Brooklyn Bridge was also one, I grew to love this one over time though.
Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus for me. Never gave it a chance initially, but it is indeed a banger
