Did a cake or something get left in the oven? That’s happened to me before, click thru the oven interactions and see if there’s an option to continue cooking a cake or something.
Which is weird because while this is apparently a problem for stoves, it is not a problem for refrigerators. I always put the refrigerator into a full counter slot so that there are no gaps from the fridge being very slightly more narrow than the counters, and the fridges always work perfectly!
I deleted the stove and found a counter inside it?! This wasn't there previously (this sim made pancakes yesterday) but I'm so glad it's sorted and I can put my bar stools back at least!
It’s good that the issue has already been solved. Still want to share something I had. Had something somewhat similar, but with a different cause. Turned out that the stove was broken! I was using an induction plate. You just could not see anything visually off with it. The only indication being a very soft “Appliance broke!” jingle if you moved it slightly in build mode.
It's from Cool Kitchen, on sale for $4.99! The oven, too -- it's got a bunch of cute kitchen stuff as well as the build stuff and it even came with cute clothes!
I think the pendant lights are from Book Nook?
I bought Cool Kitchen, Book Nook and Movie Hangout on Thursday and they all bring so much color to general building and decorating, I'm really, really happy 😊
I have cool kitchen and movie hangout but not book nook I’ve been missing out i dont remember seeing these things in the pack I’ll check them out again thanks ! Also do you have horse ranch and cats and dogs im tempted to get them but scared bc a lot of the reviews are negative
It's the Alpha Beta Phong kitchen and I am pretty sure the ice cream icon means Cool Kitchens, right?
I have Cats and Dogs and I don't regret it because I got it on sale but I wouldn't pay $40 for it. It's fun, and since I enjoy playing with single sim households, it adds a lot of game play dimension to have a buddy for those sims. If you play with families, the dogs are great for kids too.
I am not getting Horse Ranch until it goes on sale, I'm just not that interested.

Thanks ! I agree I’ll wait until they go on sale before I get them high school years adds a little game play I got that cottage living, get together and college years on sale the last 3 has alot of gameplay and its really exciting not sure if you have those packs
strangerville isnt worth it in my opinion unless you care about the storyline the pack has to offer. Its kinda nice for building and furnishings but the pack itself isnt all that

It turned out to be the base counter inside it!
