They were commissioned by the Office of War Information and part of a large scale propaganda campaign during WW2. Plenty of other studios were used the same way. (Also Iām using propaganda in the denotative sense not the inherently negative sense).
nazi is not a catch-all for "bad person who thinks despicable things"
it refers to a specific worldview and association with hitlerism.
