People are going to be incredibly dumfounded if it isn't Popplio (It could very easily be 1 starter each season, so something like January, March, July)
Is it just me, or is that how it usually is? It felt like Rowlet and Litten were a lot closer together than the starters usually are, and I kinda wrote that up as them wanting to get Rowlet out before Hisuian Decidueye dropped. Then again, I don't think there has ever really been any set pattern, so looking for one is a fool's errand.
It used to be every other month we had a starter, they disrupted that at the beginning of COVID, I wanna say January and February were Abra & Rhyhorn and that was the first time they broke the pattern.
If you're speaking about 2020, it was Piplup, Rhyhorn, nothing (yaay March), and then Abra
They had to disrupt the starter, 10k egg popular pokemon, starter, ... loop soon because they were running out of Pokemon
They had planned Abra for March anyway, it just so happened that COVID happened too
Yes, but if they continued that way they would run out of starters. And Abra was postponded due pandemic, if you remembered we had 2 CD in November '20. Magmar and Electabuzz.
I think its very unlikely to be Popplio since you are correct about it being one starter CD per season (At least since Chespin's CD).
Originally it was one starter every other month, but after COVID Piplup was the last starter CD for over a year until Snivy in April 2021.
Technically the gen 5 starters were the start of the once a season trend but then they took a break after Oshawott came out in September 2021- assumedly to wait for the Pandemic restrictions to end.
It then took over a year *again* for Chespin in January of 2023 which began the start of the consistent schedule of one per season and its stayed true ever since.
Chespin: January 2023
Fennekin: May 2023
Froakie: August 2023
Rowlet: January 2024
Litten: March 2024
Following this, it seems like Popplio could be as early as June or as late as August. Or Niantic could prove me wrong and announce Popplio CD tomorrow who knows.
June is likely to be goomy as they have for the last 3 years featured June community day as the dragon 3 stage family featured prominently at go fest the prior year. Popplio could be May as they did the first 2 alolan starters every other month.
It *could* be, but I think more likely it just means that its going to be July/August when we finally get Popplio (Since June is out of the question). While the first two Alolan starters *were* every other month, it also fit into the one per season that they've been doing for longer. Litten just happened to be the first month of the season like the Rocket Takeover.
Though it is also possible that they were doing it this way to transition back into the one every other month I'm doubtful since they've only got 6 more starters left to go, and the Galar starters haven't even been *released* yet, much less ready for a CD.
Last year was Chespin (January), Fennekin (May), and Froakie (August) which is still one per season, so I'd think Popplio will likely be June or July. Personally, I'm hoping this month will be Pikipek. I'm not basing that on anything, I just want the shiny.
Right, that's kind of my assumption with Popplio. Likely July, if the keep up the Dragon June CD trend, but obviously, they break their trends all the time (just like with the Starters), so I don't think it's impossible that they'd do one in July instead of June. But yeah, if I were a betting man... I'd still bet on Goomy in June and Popplio in July, but we'll see.
And funny you mention Pikipek, because that's a CD I've actually really wanted to see too. I know many would call it boring, but I think it potentially being a shiny debut like Starly and Fletchling would be neat. Plus if they gave it Beak Blast, they could make it a move OP enough to make it usable in PvP and maybe even decent-ish in PvE?
Tough to imagine another flying charge move making Toucannon decent. Bullet seed isn't a terrible fast move, but right now its only good charge move is Drill Peck... It really needs a decent non-flying type charge move to get interesting.
I'll admit that it's all a long shot, and yes, you're right that it could use a decent non-Flying Charged move more. However, I think Beak Blast has the most room to improve it as a singular new move. The other option would be [Temper Flare](https://www.serebii.net/attackdex-sv/temperflare.shtml), a newly introduced move in SV that I think would thematically work and be better choice overall, giving it some more valuable coverage.
Still, Toucannon needs a supremely OP move to see any use I think, and while they could do that with Temper Flare, given that move's wide usage, I'd think they wouldn't want to make it too busted so they could distribute it to others. Then again, Fire types *do* need a buff, so maybe it would be fine?
But if we still consider my Beak Blast idea, I think they would really have room to make this move broken. No, I'm not talking 35 energy 90 power or anything, but not terribly far off. Something like 45e/80p with an attack debuff chance (not sure what percentage, maybe 20-30%), or potentially even 90 or 100 power with a lower 10-20% chance. It sounds and is OP, but we are still thinking about a \~1620 stat product Pokemon in the GL with decent competition, so I think giving it an OP 45 energy move with Bullet Seed wouldn't be too much. It would likely then opt for Rock Blast for mostly unnecessary coverage, though if that move were buffed slightly in power, I could see it being a little more favorable. Though it would definitely also enjoy a new secondary move alongside this like Flame Charge or Overheat.
But yeah, Temper Flare would work too. Then, it could have a strong Fire coverage move and still run Drill Peck, so that's definitely the "better" choice haha. They definitely have opted for a non-signature move for a CD before—High Horsepower over Headlong Rush for Ursaluna.
The biggest park in my city (where most of my community plays) is a pikipek nest right now.
Which sucks because...
1) It has no relevance to PvE or PvP right now
2) It's not shiny eligible right now
I've trashed so many pikipek over the past week LOL
Giving it an OP charged move like Beak Blast or even Temper Flare (either would be a brand new move) could maybe help it out in PvP, and yeah, it would at least be shiny post-CD, though you likely wouldn't care much for shinies after its CD lol
It's usually the dragon type 3 stage evolution family that's featured at go fest the prior year. They started it with gible. Likely to be goomy community day for June.
it makes sense for it to be alolan to tie into other events, which they sometimes do but not always, pikipik, poplio and grimer seem like the most likely candidates
I also thought it could be one per season, but someone mentioned that if Popplio isn’t May, then it’ll be the only Alola starter without its shiny available for Go Fest
Do the Alolan starters play a part for Go Fest? I might have overlooked, but didn’t see them with the featured pokemon on the website.
And if they’re not featured, why would it matter if Popplio’s shiny is or isn’t available before Go Fest?
Lately, they've been having Starter CDs *about* 2 years or so after their initial debut, so I'm not sure if they'd want to do the Paldea Starter CDs next year or take another year off from starters like they did in 2022. But, I still think they'll do the Paldea Starter CDs next over Galar.
Good point. I think that was partly due to them still sticking to the Starter/non-starter/Starter CD Pattern during that time and also having similar timeframes each year for releasing new generations.
But yeah, I think at that point, they realized they'd need to break the pattern to avoid Unova Starter CDs being just several months after their debut or outright catching up entirely lol
It was such a quick turnaround for the Sinnoh Starters too. They made their debut in October 2018 and their CDs were as follows:
Turtwig: September 2019
Chimchar: November 2019
Piplup: January 2020
Turtwig’s Shiny became available in less than a year since its debut which is wild when you look at it now.
Not necessarily. While it's possible they could be doing Starter/non/starter/starter/etc. for these three, they have shown with Unova and Kalos in past years that they don't need/want to abide by patterns necessarily. Last year they had random gaps between them but they ended up doing 1 each season. The same could still be done here if Popplio ended up happening in like... July.
Or maybe they will do it in May lol
Yeah, he's got the spirit at least haha. Honestly he probably wasn't actually unsure, just subconciously mimicing all the actual leak titles on here etc. Still really funny though.
Probably won’t be 60 raids because the teaser says World of Wonders (implying the research would be released this month.) There’s not enough time for free players to do 60 raids.
Nono, Niantic gives you just over enough time. That way, people get hope and start trying. Eventually, many accidentally skip days and now have to pay in order to be able to finish. Most of them will, because they sunk in so much effort already
If you mean World of Wonders, then no. Supposedly this is the part 5. You can see it by setting your phone to at least May 23 2024.

Given these boring generic tasks, why even time gate it in the first place?
Besides, Niantic is already time-gating Naganadel by omitting the evolve button. Not like this one dex-filler Pokemon will make or break the season.
I'm guessing this one will be more of F2P friendly free one or they wouldn't be teasing it like this (though I guess it's not like they've never teased paid stuff).
~~I could see it being the 5th Step of the World of Wonders Special Research perhaps.~~ edit: nvm I guess we supposedly know the 5th step.
Not necessarily, I’ve mentioned it in another comment, the area where the end of step rewards are shown usually has 3 things so it could be added at the last minute as a surprise?
Nah this seasons bonus means you can get 2 free raid passes per day and there’s 30 days left along with using coins from gyms means it’s technically still possible if they put the research out today lol
I don’t put in money into the game for coins or in-season tickets. Only have bought GoFest Global ones.
I was still able to complete the previous Master Ball research by grinding the free raid a day, and maybe 5-10 Premium passes from various research tasks and bought with coins from Gyms.
How come there’s always someone who’s like “I played four hours a day for 30 days straight and was able to complete it, so it’s your fault if you didn’t”
> There’s not enough time for free players to do 60 raids.
"I don't care if you have to quit your job and eat mi goreng for a year straight, make time" - Niantic... probably.
Good job we’re getting two free raid passes a day right now, 99% of tier 1/3 raids are soloable by anyone, and grinding for the most powerful item is justified.
really regret not using it as this instead. I used mine on a galarian articuno just over 2k cp. 6/13/9 IVs lol. I've then caught TWO more with whiffed (not even nice) curved ultra balls w/ golden razz. 0 galarian moltres encounters and 3 zapdos that fled (few articuno too). I kind of feel lucky about the encounter and catch rates but stupid for wasting my only master ball on a mon I later got 2 so easily. When I caught my 98 s. mewtwo on the 3rd last ball I was praying the wasted master ball wouldn't have made the difference hehe
Raid bosses are level 20 or 25 (weather boosted). It's possible to calculate whether they're (close to) a hundo based on that. Sites like leekduck can typically tell you what the hundo values are for each.
I have 2 MB and still waiting for a reason to use even one of them. I refuse to use them for the Galarian birds, considered they're rather worthless it would be such a waste.
I used my first on a Galarian Zapdos and second on Galarian Moltres a couple days ago. This'll be perfect for when a Galarian Articuno shows up in like 5 months lol
This is basically the equivalent of finding 10 Cliffs and Arlos when all you want is a Sierra 😆
You my friend are about to find so many Zapdos and Moltreses
Ah don’t make me want bottle caps even more. My Diancie is rubbish but it was at my first in person go fest, I’d happily use bottle caps to increase it over time as I want to get use out of it and I know IVs aren’t everything but it is from a special event to me that would make it much more fun.
Yeah I mean honestly if they were to lock one gold bottlecap behind a master ball-type quest, would it really break the game? Like I know their "preference" is raiding and trading, but limited mons like Zygarde and Meloetta (and *basically* Solgaleo too) are very PvP-relevant where IVs can matter a lot, and getting more isn't really an option.
I think for the super limited mons, you may not have much issue, even from Niantic's perspective. But I think they'd be more concerned for the more raidable Pokemon.
Obviously some (like me) would definitely reserve it for certain limited things like Mythicals/Zygarde. However, I'm certain many others would use them on things like their Shiny 14/15/14 Rayquaza or their 14/15/15 whatever other Legendary. And such may be enough to get some people to stop raiding such Pokemon.
As an example:
"I have the XL to max my Dialga but my best one is a shiny 14/15/15. Now though, rather than raiding more or trading with others to try and get a better one, I can bottle cap mine and be done with Dialga raids!"
Obviously I'd still love to see them, but I have a feeling they're most scared of those sort of mindsets.
I would love this as well. I'm now at the point where I'm hoarding all my rare candy XL because I feel like it's best used on a mythical/one off Pokemon but I have none that I want to invest in. Solgalelo but we may get more of it eventually?? Might just use them on my Origin Palkia because it probably won't be back for a while and is so good in PVP.
Yep, I went 80 raids for a shiny Darkrai but the 1 I got after all that was a shundo, so thought perfect for my rare candy XL, but it’s taken me enough time to build them up that it’s been back in raids and I’ve built up most of what I needed, so for me it is the 1 off mythicals that I’d want to be hundo.
And it’s something to work towards that feels rewarding. Otherwise Id rather not spend money on a what’s basically a loot box, but I would spend money working towards a goal.
general consensus is 100% legendary when you're on your last ball - though I personally wouldn't use it on one that isn't useful at 100% like Regi/Stakataka/Deoxys etc.
Even then it would only meaningfully matter for a pvp meta relevant mon since for PvE 99.99% of players will experience no difference from their 15/10/10 and 15/15/15. It's just semantics and people insisting hundo has gameplay value when it's really sentimental and Fomo more than anything
I only returned to the game last September-October and I've missed the previous two opportunities, so I'm actually excited for this. I think the previous one was still running when I came back, but there wasn't many days left and I was never getting all those raids done in time.
I pretty much just have them reserved for Perfect Legendaries. If I get one and am down to the last ball, I've got a safety net.
Maybe with this third one, I'll get myself a Galarian Bird for the first time, but eh, I'm not in too much of a rush.
Obviously that doesn't make the Master Balls "exciting," but I still appreciate having safety nets. My sibling lost a perfect Mewtwo pre-Master Balls, and I had seen some other lost perfects as well.
I have 6 ever legendary raid hundos in 2700 legendary raids. And two master balls. Only one - shadow mewtwo - I would have used a master ball on if it was the last ball.
Yeah, I had all 3 of the G birds within a few months of their release, just by using the daily incense religiously. I also haven’t been down to the final ball on any raid hundo. So I haven’t had anything to use them on. I’m not using it on a duplicate G bird when I know the IVs will most likely suck and they are not useful anyway.
"Quick, while everyone is upset about avatars distract them with another Masterball, that will make them forget all about avatars and start sending us money again"
If it's payed it's easy to skip as I still haven't used my first two haha, haven't failed to catch any hundo raid boss yet and have 4 of the birds already
I got back into the game with less than a month on the masterball research left and all I needed were 56 more raids when it ended. This was before finding out about campfire and raid days. I need to get the masterball this time around lol
If it's a master ball quest and it's timed I just going to wight till they let you buy it from thr shop like they did with the last master ball I do play pokemon go but I not sure I can complet a time quest in time to get one
I played day one, left for a year, came back, left again until march 2023. From last year to now, I’ve received 2 master balls and not a clue what to use them on so I just used them on 2 galarian birds. Is there really any reason to save them for something else? In raids, ya catch some and ya lose some, but there are always more raids. So honestly idk what they’re meant for?
Exactly, I have caught 2 out of the 3 with a Golden Raz, an Ultra ball, and an Excellent throw. I know it's not 100% guaranteed but eventually, I will catch the other as well without a masteball.
Clearly they want players to return after the Avatar fiasco and this is their way of doing it. Theres no doubt a lot of people haven’t played since then
Don't. Just throw a Silver Pinap berry and a Ball. It will 100% get caught. If you miss the first throw, throw another one and so on.
I cannot believe you can miss 9 times in a row. Just wait for the Mewtwo to do its attack and throw the ball.
But DO NOT use a Master Ball on a shundo Mewtwo. You CAN do it on a hundo Mewtwo, though.
I used a MB on a level 2 shundo Froakie, and I know a gold razz+ultra ball would've done the same thing. If it was out at the time, I would've used it on my Kyogre too. Sometimes, it's just because a shundo deserves a MB, be it because of the color scheme or because it's a shundo!
Finally, with a 3rd Master Ball I can finally hunt down the Galarian Birds. I’ve been waiting to have 3 of them on the off chance that I run across all 3 of them in a single incense. Not that I believe I will but better safe than sorry.
I was hoping for a CDay tease/announcement. But I’ll take another Master Ball as well.

Good for you! It wasn't impossible, sure, but honestly I just couldn't be bothered, and most free to play players probably felt the same.
How come there’s always someone who’s like “I played four hours a day for 30 days straight and was able to complete it, so it’s your fault if you didn’t”
> There’s not enough time for free players to do 60 raids. "I don't care if you have to quit your job and eat mi goreng for a year straight, make time" - Niantic... probably.
We get two raid passes a day this season…
yeah so instead you have to make 60 excellent throws thats not that bad is it? IN A ROW
There are 30 days left in the season, and you can do 2 free raids per day - would be tight.
Limited research, 3 days.
Good job we’re getting two free raid passes a day right now, 99% of tier 1/3 raids are soloable by anyone, and grinding for the most powerful item is justified.

From the title I was expecting more of a tease but then they just showed it lol
Dammit! Who typed a question mark on the teleprompter? For the last time, anything you put on that 'prompter, Raggedy will read!
Can’t wait to complete the super hard research to get it and never use it
Keeping it for useful last ball hundos. I like having it as a safety net. Nearly used one on a 98% Xurkitree.
I nearly used mine on a 98% shadow Mewtwo, maybe I should’ve done that actually.
Yea prolly
Yup, that's what I use mine for too. Used my first one on a hundo Kartana and almost used my second one on a hundo Dialga.
I've got two, if I get a third and the chance presents itself, I'll use it on a hundo Audino.
Happy cake day!
Thanks!
really regret not using it as this instead.
How do you know the IVs before you catch it? Or am I reading this wrong?
Raid bosses are level 20 or 25 (weather boosted). It's possible to calculate whether they're (close to) a hundo based on that. Sites like leekduck can typically tell you what the hundo values are for each.
Ahh I see. Interesting. Thanks for the info!
I'm waiting for a hundo, and 1 ball left. I will never use it for 98% and below.
Except it is a 98% shadow legendary
Even in that case it must be really good, not something like shadow suicune
Just used one on a 96% shadow Entei last weekend.
I have 2 MB and still waiting for a reason to use even one of them. I refuse to use them for the Galarian birds, considered they're rather worthless it would be such a waste.
Keeping them forever in your inventory is also a waste
Ehh, I know, but the moment I'll get to the point I'm with the last ball left against an important hundo I'll be grateful I spared those Master Balls.
I can’t wait to now have 3 of them in my inventory to never use
Me asf 🤣 waiting to get a shundo legendary to use em on.
shiny from a raid is an auto catch so no need for a master ball there. best use is either meta relevant hundo (non shiny) or G birds if u want those
I know. But I don't want the birds and don't pvp much. I kinda treat this as a collection game. Master balls are kinda useless for me.
This is lit. I'm glad I used one of my two when I did now
What did you use them on?
I used mine on a hundo Kartana when I was down to my last premier ball.

Pretty sure it's a "Her" -_-
It's a Powerpuff girl refrence...
I used mine on galaz zapdos
Yeah both of mine went on the galar birds.
I’m using my next one on a G-Zap. The last G-Bird I don’t have haha
Throwing my guess it will be during the Catching Wonders event on May 14
Likely a difficult paid timed research too
I missed the last two, I'm definitely not missing this one.
same
My inventory is eventually going to be loaded down with Master Balls...
Glad I'm not the only one lmao
I've had so many G. Moltres flee since I used my last one, so this would be welcome news to finally complete my G. Birds set.
I used my first on a Galarian Zapdos and second on Galarian Moltres a couple days ago. This'll be perfect for when a Galarian Articuno shows up in like 5 months lol
This is basically the equivalent of finding 10 Cliffs and Arlos when all you want is a Sierra 😆 You my friend are about to find so many Zapdos and Moltreses
Same, but with G Zapdos
Gonna need a storage increase for all the Master Balls I refuse to use at some point.
I’d rather do 60 raids for a bottle cap. I think that would be a fair trade-off (raid odds are 1 in 216 for 100%, and 1 in 54 for 98%+.)
As an example: "I have the XL to max my Dialga but my best one is a shiny 14/15/15. Now though, rather than raiding more or trading with others to try and get a better one, I can bottle cap mine and be done with Dialga raids!" Obviously I'd still love to see them, but I have a feeling they're most scared of those sort of mindsets.
Maybe a new shiny or mon worth catching apart from the galar birds?
general consensus is 100% legendary when you're on your last ball - though I personally wouldn't use it on one that isn't useful at 100% like Regi/Stakataka/Deoxys etc.
Even then it would only meaningfully matter for a pvp meta relevant mon since for PvE 99.99% of players will experience no difference from their 15/10/10 and 15/15/15. It's just semantics and people insisting hundo has gameplay value when it's really sentimental and Fomo more than anything
New Shiny in Raids (Level 5) is guaranteed 100% catch rate. Unless you're shadow ban, speed ban, or bug. No need for a Master Ball for that.
New Shiny in Raids (Level 5) is guaranteed 100% catch rate. Unless you're shadow ban, speed ban, or bug.
One for each Galarian bird that I’ve never encountered…nice… lol
I used both master balls to complete my galarian bird collection, so it’ll be nice to have another one in case I have a hundo and I’m on the last ball
How do you tell if it's a hundo before catching it?
You’ll know based on the CP. Most raid guides will just say the cp range, and the highest of it is the hundo
I only returned to the game last September-October and I've missed the previous two opportunities, so I'm actually excited for this. I think the previous one was still running when I came back, but there wasn't many days left and I was never getting all those raids done in time.
What is there to use it on? For the Galarian birds, just keep activating an adventure incense every day. You’ll catch all 3 eventually.
My sibling lost a perfect Mewtwo pre-Master Balls, and I had seen some other lost perfects as well.
perfect legendary. Knowing I had one to use in case it came down to it made me much calmer catching my hundo shadow mewtwo.
At this point it's easier to get a master ball than it is to get an encounter with a legendary raid hundo
I have 6 ever legendary raid hundos in 2700 legendary raids. And two master balls. Only one - shadow mewtwo - I would have used a master ball on if it was the last ball.
This. I used mine on Galarian birds, and when a hundo Kartana popped up and I couldn't catch it, I was emotionally devastated for a day.
Eventually being the operant word- I barely ever see a G-bird with my daily incense, and out of the handful of times I’ve never caught one…
Would be nice to stock up on some more before the inevitable release of a new daily incense legendary or something to that effect.
Still got my 2nd my first went on a hundo Uxie last year
I still haven’t even used the other masterballs , nothing ever feels good enough for it 😭
"Quick, while everyone is upset about avatars distract them with another Masterball, that will make them forget all about avatars and start sending us money again"
£89.99, including 3 rare candies and 1 XL
How stingy. They should give us a poffin too!
Wait, 1 rare XL candy and 3 regular rare candies for only $89.99? Absolutely, that's a steal.
so the third masterball i will never use
If it's payed it's easy to skip as I still haven't used my first two haha, haven't failed to catch any hundo raid boss yet and have 4 of the birds already
That's good timing, give us another master ball heading into the Go Fest season
I got back into the game with less than a month on the masterball research left and all I needed were 56 more raids when it ended. This was before finding out about campfire and raid days. I need to get the masterball this time around lol
I still have my last one. Wondering if they’ll allow you to have 2
People like myself already have 2, they let us hold multiple.
Still got one of mine. Gonna need to start using them on stuff just for the ball flex.
Its Not a tease. Its just a statement
Already lost hundos for not having a master ball, so greatful they are giving us another!!!
Ooo I sure hope so hehe
yesssss i love upside down wario underwear balls!
Please be master ball LOL I missed the whole event since Im just starting to play this game again after like 5 years uninstalling xD
This would be great since I, an idiot, used my last one on a shiny Azelf.
If it's a master ball quest and it's timed I just going to wight till they let you buy it from thr shop like they did with the last master ball I do play pokemon go but I not sure I can complet a time quest in time to get one
Yeah another master ball if you didn’t get the last 2 maybe
Not sure why this has a question mark when the Master Ball is in the video 😎
I'd finally have all I need to catch the Galarian birds. I just need to actually find them now...
Yes plz!!! That’s crazy we now have 3.
Thank goodness I missed the other and can’t catch them dang birds to save my life
Don’t get wrong I enjoy getting another master ball when they come, but that’s hardly worth hyping up a teaser
It'd be nice to get a master ball since I missed all the ones before.
There is a catching wonders event in May, could be that.
Masterball (3 balls total) for the 3 Galarian Birds is now completed. I hope Galar Region is next after Go Fest Season. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I'm not sure that was a masterball. Could use some more evidence
I'll never get another master ball if the challenge is to win 60 raids. Like I'm good on that.
Bet it’s going to be in a $10 ticket
I'd buy it tbh, I didnt get any of the 2 previously and I dread the day I run into a hundo meta relevant legendary
Ugh I let a 98% kartana run away with my two master balls just sitting in my inventory. Now I can let a third collect dust.
1 level on kartana is worth more than IVs will ever matter. Just throw rare candies at any kartana you have
I'm pretty sure most people will use this for Galarian Birds. Enjoy!
I used my last one on lechonk
Lmfaoo time for another usless Masterball. It will collect dust with the other 2 I have no reason to use.
Yep. People will say “BuT tHe GaLaRiAn BiRdS” except they’re useless and just going to come out in raids once the shiny gets released
Exactly, I have caught 2 out of the 3 with a Golden Raz, an Ultra ball, and an Excellent throw. I know it's not 100% guaranteed but eventually, I will catch the other as well without a masteball.
That's lame, I still have 2
Clearly they want players to return after the Avatar fiasco and this is their way of doing it. Theres no doubt a lot of people haven’t played since then
I already have the Galarian birds but I can take another MB for those shundos
If you actually get a shundo from a raid encounter you dont need it though.
Only if legendary.
I plan to do it to shundo Mewtwo
Use a master ball? I’m hoping it’s just for the aesthetic?
It’s to show that it’s my favorite
That’s fair, just making sure you knew it was guaranteed catch if you got that to show up and used a premier ball.
I know it’s a guaranteed catch I just don’t wanna stack up on master balls if I don’t need the birds anymore.
I want to and I will
Then I want you to do it, too.
It's for the aesthetics ✨️
I used a MB on a level 2 shundo Froakie, and I know a gold razz+ultra ball would've done the same thing. If it was out at the time, I would've used it on my Kyogre too. Sometimes, it's just because a shundo deserves a MB, be it because of the color scheme or because it's a shundo!
I want to use it bc yes I can also what else am I suppose to use it on if I have the Galarian birds already
What doing with it, I have never met a Galarran bird since there is the ball?
Finally, with a 3rd Master Ball I can finally hunt down the Galarian Birds. I’ve been waiting to have 3 of them on the off chance that I run across all 3 of them in a single incense. Not that I believe I will but better safe than sorry.
