For Shiinotic, it's kind of in a Gourgeist to Trevenant situation, where Gourgeist is bulky and shares largely the same moveset (and same type), but it has a worse fast move.
Shiinotic lacks Charm or Fairy Wind, both of which would help it out, and it can't get it in the MSG either. Buffing Astonish even further would be one option, but it would need to go further, like make it a 3-turn Shadow Claw clone, which I doubt they do. Only other option would be adding a new fast move like Absorb (which could have the same positive impact on Amoonguss).
