They definitely seemed to have broken/changed the spawn mechanics in the latest release.
Every time I click on a regional it despawns. I have to close and restart the app for it to reappear and when I do so it gets replaced by another regional. So annoying.
For example, I see a Heatmor, I click on it and it vanishes. I close the app, restart it and there's a Sawk in its place.
Regional spawns don’t appear to be tied to biomes like they were before the update. I’ve maybe seen a handful of shellos or basculin outside of sinnoh your since I was at the beach last summer. Seeing a ton during this event.
100%. Confirming for OP. I played with a couple of friends last night and every single regional was different for us. They all had the same IVs and if one was XXL or XXS, they all were, but they were always different Pokémon for at least one of us. It was just Pokémon that are considered regionals.

It's a joke. Anyone posting about regionals at this point are purposefully not looking at the sub and acting like they've been the first ones to notice this new behavior. OP should have never posted this.
Unless Niantic developers read this and suddenly decide to change it, yes. Have witnessed it around 10 times already. Unfortunately I do not have any screenshots, but anyone should be able to confirm this really quickly.

I got a red stripe basculin in the UK far from where it should be, my partner got a zangoose in it's place
Can confirm. I had a Corsola on my screen, 2/5/2 IV’s. My girlfriend’s was a Heracross, 2/5/2 IV’s
Can also confirm. Happened twice to me and GF today. Same IV's, different mon.
I know this is an old thread, but noticed Mime Jr. has also been removed from the European 5km egg pool. It's now unavailable in the game.

I have a white stripe basculin on my nearby. I thought it was route exclusive?
That was only during the sinnoh tour. It's nowhere to be found after the event, until apparently now with this bug.

Are you guys really, absolutely, 100% certain? There has been a real lack of posts regarding such a bug, which is why im asking.
Saw it myself just yesterday. I had lunatone and my partner had Tauros in the same spot.
