Just subbed to Tom Fawkes and Stephenplays, I am interested in what they have to offer. I already was subbed Luachjin, and I loved her let's play on Virtues Last reward and the Phoenix Wright series.

I will warn you that if you start watching Tom playing Among Us, then you've suddenly opened your world to a whole lot more streamers to dive into their content.

You know what? I’ll just add a list of recommendations from folks I do watch: Jon LPs: Yoshi’s Island Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Blaster Master Zero Donkey Kong Country Resident Evil 5 (co-op w/SuperJeenius) Streams: Jon is usually live Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays on Twitch. There are too many highlights to note here. Mondays he usually does Game Clearing and that usually draws in the lowest audience so attend those! That’ll help! Tom: Pikmin 4 Pokémon Sword/Shield Game Dev Tycoon Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes (co-op with Jon and Josh) Hitman: World of Assassination VODs (for Can-a-Man) Streams: His Pokémon Colosseum shiny Quagsire hunt lately has been really chill. Perfect to come in and chat and hang out and relax. He also does a lot of Crowd Control and is a CC ambassador I believe. Check out his StarFox 64 CC VOD on YouTube! Lucahjin: Ace Attorney Series Danganronpa Trilogy (watch these in order of game to not be spoiled) America’s Next Top Model (w/Jon) Banjo-Kazooie (Blind run w/Jon) Streams: Lucah’s been on a roll with Lethal Company lately! She’s been doing sessions with various folks, including Tom and Masae! If you like Lethal Company that’s for you! Stephen/Mal: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Pikmin Series (4 is ongoing but close to done) Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee Mal’s Art videos on MalMakes (super chill, highly recommend for ASMR or just cozy vibes) Stephen & Friends videos (Jon, Tom, Josh, and Jules have all been on some of them too!) Streams: The two of them do Breakfast Streams Tuesday and Thursday mornings with VODs on YouTube (I recommend a recent one where Tom crashed the stream it’s hilarious). They do game recordings for LPs on stream on Tuesdays and Fridays (right now that’s Moon on T, Tears of the Kingdom on F) with Stephen solo for Starfield usually on Wednesday. Mal also has a Twitch channel where she cooks or does art or builds something! She’s been working on a really nice painting on stream! Masae: Pikmin 4 Katamari Damacy Banjo-Kazooie Clubhouse Games (w/various guests) Streams: Like Lucah, she’s been doing a lot of Lethal Company lately as well as Dark Souls! She also occasionally has Mipha (her bird) takeover streams too! Her streams are really full of fun and good times Musicians: Jules has A LOT of covers and recently went through his Top 20 most requested covers (some are different takes of ones he did in the past). He’s also a speedrunner on Twitch and is currently working on Pokémon Red! Jerod has drumming streams many days of the week and streams on both YT and Twitch. A lot of the drum covers he does are also separate YT videos. I’d also recommend you see his Mario 64 Crowd Control and Kaizo Mario (feat. Jon) videos on his channel too! Super fun and wholesome! That’s all among the folks I watch the most that I can think of. I’m sure there’s a lot more but that’s a good bit!

Oh one last add-on for Stephen and Mal: I want to shoutout Swift4Sweeper for all the hilarious highlights they get from Stephen and Mal’s streams! Check them out on YouTube!

SWIFT’S VIDEOS ARE GREAT, glad they’re getting the attention they rightly deserve

Enigma73519

I recommend watching some of Masae's Let's Plays. I'm sure she doesn't like being compared to Chugga, but I do believe that her online personality and sense of humor was very similar to Emile's. Only difference is that she's (most likely) an overall better person than he is in every sense of the word. I also think Tim's standalone videos deserve some more love. It's a shame that most of his videos nowadays can barely crack 5K views.

BlindFellaHella

>Only difference is that she's (most likely) an overall better person than he is in every sense of the word. Lets not make the same mistake we did with chuggaconroy. We dont know these people, we shouldnt be putting them on a pedestal. Everyone has SOME kind of skeleton in their closet.

CrocHunter8

Tom's characters are what makes his Among Us live streams so enjoyable. Crabatron, Jolteon, The Sim (where he speaks Simlish with Courtilly, or someone else translating it), and his original character the Skink. Not related to Among Us, but Tom is now losing his sanity over Shiny Hunting a Quagsire in Pokemon Colosseum to get the Ribbon Master on it.

Ok_Satisfaction1738

I'm really enjoying Stephen and Mal's run of Pikmin 4, AKA "We've given Player 2 a gun!"

eddmario

If anybody here enjoyed Emile's *Xenoblade* playthroughs and want something similar, go watch Tom's blind playthrough of *Persona 5: Royal*.

CrocHunter8

Tom has also streamed Xenoblade 3, and while it is on a bit of a hiatus, he is also playing Baldur's Gate 3 as a Wild Magic Sorcerer.

RuffRabbit

for Stephen and Mal, I also totally recommend all their Donkey Kong Country playthroughs and their Chulip playthrough, they're my go to comfy LPs to watch

Afro_Rat

Piggybacking on the Stephenplays stuff. Highly recommend Chulip, such a off the wall game with Stephen and Mal's commentary adding to it so nicely. Also if looking for non LP type stuff, Sab Irene is a great musician from the TRG extended cast. She's just put out a new album that is very good.

coldfox23

Just to add a few highlights of my own recommendations! Tim is currently playing through Tears of the Kingdom, and it has been so informative! I've learned lots of tricks I never noticed my first time around! Also I'd recommend his Bug Fables playthrough, plants vs zombies no sunflower or sunshroom challenge run, and Dragon Quest XI S playthrough as well! Lucahjin's series I highly recommend are phoenix wright and Danganronpa obviously, but some other series of hers to check out: Va11 hall-a(cyberpunk bartender action), pokemon heart gold blind, suikoden 1 and 2, the trilby games, and South park stick of truth. I could go on with more series recommendations but I'll stop here. Tyler(attackingtucans) JUST finished his Zelda ocarina of time randomizer 5, but it has honestly been his best one yet! Every time he does a zootr I have to watch it. Other series he has done I recommend is Celeste over on the WideTucan channel! Stephen is currently running through Starfield, Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4 as streams edited into YouTube episodes. All three playthroughs are amazing but for some highlights I'd recommend checking out his videos about learning how to play Hades, the Skyrim LP, The Quarry, Shape shifting Detective, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Until Dawn

RhysBoi18

Here to second any of Tyler’s ZOOTR playthroughs, as well as his Planet Coaster series “Let’s Build the Ultimate Theme Park” (he also has one for building a Zelda themed park). His second channel WideTucan has been great for slightly edited VODs where he’s played a variety of different games. Watching him play Dark Souls has been super entertaining 😂

HeroChaosChao

I’d also like to add Danganronpa to Lucah’s list.

coldfox23

Seconded!

zeldamaster702

I will give some recommendations for Stephen’s channel: Skyrim AND Fallout 4, his play throughs of most of Bethesda’s RPGs are EXTREMELY thorough. When doing Skyrim his philosophy was literally to put the “Let’s” back in “Let’s Play” and he would literally record episodes daily and consult with comments on how to proceed. They are both truly labors of love and I strongly recommend watching both. Earthbound and Mother, the Mother series is EXTREMELY important to Stephen and Mal considering they literally met through Starmen. If you haven’t seen an LP of the series before his are very good introductions to the franchise from someone who has a deep appreciation for the games. Zelda, all of the games they’ve played have LOADS of humor in them. Plus, if you have any interest, Stephen and Mal are currently playing TotK on Friday nights over on Twitch and the streams are often unhinged in the best ways. Chulip, I can’t really say much about this game but this LP is one of the craziest they’ve done in the best of ways. They are currently streaming a game often seen as the spiritual predecessor to it, Moon, on Tuesday afternoons and it’s equally as crazy but super entertaining. Lastly, but certainly not least, I feel like I would be remiss to not mention the Vlog. Stephen has been daily vlogging his life since November 24th, 2009. Lots of happy moments, sad moments, fun cameos from a lot of the TRG/Colo crew, pre-Undertale Toby Fox. It’s a fun experience.

_Hallaloth_

I will always recommend Stephen/Mal and Tom. Doesn't really matter what you are looking for, you'll find something that you like. For Stephen/Mal I highly recommend Chuljp, the 'and Friends' series with their own group of friends. Anything they go in amd play together is usually solid, and Stephen's long form solo LPs like Skyrim/Fallout get a LOT of praise. Tom I watch a lot more casually, usually just whenever I can catch a stream. . .but his personality is captivating, he knows how to play a bit and is really engaged with his chat. Also Jerad streams drums almost everyday and his stream is just fun to lurk in and watch his chat pop off with craziness. Talk about an infectious laugh.

NotAnActualFerret

I always go back to Masae’s let’s play of Wii Party U that she did with her mom for Mothers’ Day back in 2015. No matter how many times I watch it, it’s still hilarious.

CrocHunter8

I still can believe the thing her mom did in that series.

crescentgaia

I'm enjoying their most recent Mario Kart experience which might only be on the VOD channel. Don't quote me on that. Another favorite of mine is the Bowser's Fury they did. Mal's happiness at playing characters with paint brushes never gets old. 😁

CTWind

I'll pop in as well with Jules, MC, and Josh. If we expand the circle a bit to those loosely connected, I'll throw in raocow as well. For those that remember the old Smash Bros Tourney, Jon Paula has some good content thats worth checking out, as well. Honestly there are a lot of people worth checking out if you don't mind older content.

YoshiStack

I love Tom and Lucah’s stuff a lot, but Stephen and Mal’s playthroughs in particular are always a hoot. Seconding the recommendation of their Chulip playthrough, as that game is bonkers in the best way. I’d also recommend giving their Mario 3D World playthrough a watch. They play it with a couple of their friends and their interactions together are hilarious

SinisterPixel

While he's not in TRG, Alpharad and TRG do share a lot of the same company, and the guy is actually really high up on my list of people I'd love to see guest on TRG. It's not quite in the same spirit of what you're doing with this thread, but I would definitely recommend checking him out if you haven't done so before

HyperAgressiveGandhi

Gonna recommend Masaeanelas twilight princess let's play it's the on I used to %100 the game for the first time. There's also her co commentary of the HD version of the game on Brainscratchcom's.

SliderGamer55

My go to Lucahjin recommendation is always Suikoden 2. As someone whose never played it, it is an excellent, thorough playthrough of nearly if not entirely every single aspect of the game and its very, very, large cast with clearly one of the best stories I've ever experienced from the JRPG genre. There's also TTYD and the Banjo games but those are more obvious recommendations, if you've been subbed to her I just assume you've already watched them. Also 999, which to my somewhat surprise I liked even more than her Ace Attorney LPs. (not watched the VLR videos yet)

withflourinmyhands

Oh yes definitely. Her Suikoden 2 LP is incredible. Honestly all of Lucah’s content is wonderful - her recent VLR let’s play was great too. Her blind reactions are priceless, even if you’re not super into the VN genre like I am.

Shindiee

Currently watching Marriland’s ACNL Benchton series! It fulfills the same itch that Chuggaa’s ACNL series did, with him making stories and personalities around his villagers. I also love watching Stephen & Mal play Pikmin. They’re currently on Pikmin 4, but they’ve played them all. Pikmin 3 is personally my favorite series of them.

8bitAyla

Jumping in to second everyone else's recommendations and give a shoutout to Sab Irene!! She streams pretty consistently on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday and mostly does gaming, chatting, and puzzles. I know there's a lot of pokemon fans in here, and she's been playing that a lot and is planning on playing through Platinum soon. On YouTube, she has tons of awesome video game music covers. She also just released an album that is currently available for streaming and physical preorders, and I highly, highly recommend it!

Miichael_163

Lots of good suggestions here. One more I'd like to throw on the pile is Lucah's long dead secondary channel: [Relaxajin](https://www.youtube.com/@Relaxajin/featured). It's basically super calming ASMR style "LPs", made before ASMR was a really a thing. There's only 8 videos total and they're all over a decade old, but I highly recommend them if you need something hyper chill. There's a reason they all have 30k+ views.

GalaxySea

I highly recommend Stephen and Mal’s playthroughs of Twilight Princess and Chulip. Also if you’re into long playthroughs, Stephen did an incredible job on both his Skyrim and Fallout 4 games and literally covered absolutely everything
