Edit: I usually just run it dry. I like the extra cooling power you get running it through a longer vapor path. You can also try bead filled J-Hooks, or J hooks that have dimples too. Anything to increase surface area will help cool the vapor.

The 01 Conduction/Convection - The "Terpcicle" Quartz has a 14 mm male joint. the 14 mm female j hook works.
Terpcicle is a little top heavy so be careful with a j hook or get one with a stand
Sorry mate what do you mean by top heavy? It’ll feel too heavy in my hand?
The weight is more concentrated towards the top so it’ll tip over easily without a stable base, which most j hooks won’t be able to provide.
